You've just failed to secure your profits and even your starting bankroll. That's where you're falling and that's what you need to fix, so if you're always ending going all in then stop going all in when you've been winning such amounts.

I am sure that many will tell you that if we're the ones that have won such amounts, we'll firstly secure the profit that we've made and then will gamble with anything that's left. If you are this good then you need to secure your profits as well so that you can keep going on with your won money and no new money that's coming from your pocket will be spent.

Having a dream to make $1m is great and should motivate you to do the best way to achieve it but you did it wrong since you use gambling as the way to chase your dream.
It is OK to have a profit target in gambling but we also have to be realistic as well in all situation while trying to achieve the target.
Do not force yourself to chase your gambling goal, enjoy all your gambling session, act wisely while winning and losing.

It's obvious that you can't control yourself and that you don't have the right strategy to achieve your goal - although I doubt that even $1 million would be something that would satisfy you or prevent you from doing the same stupid thing again. If you can't help yourself from making the same mistake, at least don't bet everything on one match, but divide the amount you have into equal parts and place bets on different matches.

This is the very definition of what gambling is, YOLO style. And I thought that it's easy on you mate, but just like any other gamblers, it really hurts to see those money or winning just swept from you because of that one mistake or those that you want to chase.

And it just shows that it's hard to do it, unless you are really lucky and turn your money into $1 million. Your last thread though, for sure everyone is waiting for the good results, unfortunately you also lost that one.

It's easy to forget if it only happened one time but considering the list of OP's good runs to failed YOLO is really frustrating no matter how strong he is to handle his emotion in regards to gambling loss. I think everybody will agree that this amount is already enough to change someone's life and actually he is already close to his goal if he will sum up his final bankroll in case he manages to take a profit. OP has a talent on sports betting, I think he can always bounce back but he needed someone who will guide him or will control him in times when he was itchy to all-in.

@OP, why not launch your own free tipster so that you will have someone to discuss and follow your bets. This way, you will be self-controlled on your bets because you knew that someone is following you.

Ask yourself this question- why do you gamble in the first place? Is it for glory; or for profit?

Once you identify the answer to that question, then that would generally provide a background for your answer. If what you claimed is indeed true, then turning such a relatively small amount of money to large winnings in sports-betting is by itself a feat that only a handful of people that have accomplished. The fact that you made it that far means that you have attained like 1% of the people.

If your answer is that you gamble for profit, then you should know when to stop. For example, you claimed that you have turned $1,000 into $100,000. Why not stop from there? Why not repeat the same cycle of betting consistent $1,000 instead of going all-ins? The risk is too great for you to incur that losses in the first place.

Motivational speakers will advise that in life you should never give up until you achieve your goal but that advice does not apply to gambling. Sometimes in gambling if you have set a very huge target for yourself as an amount to win before you quit gambling and then you notice that before you are meeting this target you are making too many losses that is ruining your life, you should stop. If you keep pushing yourself even if you are achieve that goal tomorrow you will set a higher one for yourself because you would not to be satisfied for long, best thing is to stop chasing right now and just play for fun.

OP, you got the wrong orientation on gambling and you don't need to gamble because you want to win big. If you do this you will end up in great loss. You should see gamble as fun and not dreams or else you will give all that you have to gamble and still won't win that your target amount. You should try to have self-control over your gambling activities and also change your mindset of winning $1000000 because it is impossible for it to come true. See gambling as fun and not to make profit or else you will keep on chasing your loss and you will be addicted to gambling. I have a gambling budget that I use for my gambling activities and when it is exhausted,I stop gambling and I try as much as possible not to allow my emotions control me.

I doubt that you had so many wins and did not ever make a screenshot or a photo of these wins. Don't get me wrong, if you actually did it it's great and I envy you, but in the Internet everybody is a winner Wink

If you set yourself a goal like for you it's a million dollars but you keep starting with low bets like 10k or something similar, you'll never make it. Statistically the more x you want to get it get's progressively harder. Getting 2x is easy, 10 x is very hard, but you're already winning 100x, like with your 1-100k bet and it's still not enough for you. You would like to see a miracle where you turn 1k into a million and it's probably not going to happen. You're really lucky and you're wasting it.

$1 million is a big number.
So far, I have never seen direct evidence of a win of up to $ 1 million that a gambler gets.
If pursuing it may feel impossible or even difficult, but if it is used as motivation to be able to bet even better, maybe it will be more useful to have that dream.

But if we look at him, he is a gambler who has pretty good luck because of the several wins he can get.

One thing is to stop chasing that $1,000,000 dream.  If you accept that gambling isn't the best place to get that $1m, you will find yourself looking for an alternative source of income that can give you a continuous profit .  You should also accept the recent loses that amounted to $90k.  I know it is a big money but it already happen and all you can do is move on.  Try to do bankroll management if you happen to accumulate huge winnings and I hope this recent experience will give you a lesson that it is not good to be greedy.

Your target is too unrealistic. 1 million dollars is a lot of money, it's impossible to make that much from betting. I think you just want to make money without putting a lot of effort into it. But that's impossible. You can make a lot of money, but you have to study and work hard to do it.

To tell you honestly, only you can help yourself on how to get over it.

You have been there already, experiencing big, turning an average amount of bankroll into a decent one, etc. Those experiences should teach you already and realize what's the best thing to do in your future betting.

As a bettor that has the guts to risk a big amount, I'm sure you already know what's the best thing to do especially when winning but your greeds overcome you and affect your ability to think right. You are always going all in and disregarding the risks. In other words, you are pushing for something that depends on your luck.
.
You are chasing a big dream thru gambling? That might not be a good idea.

     -  What is that? from your 1000$ starting gamble you managed to grow 100k$? or instead of only losing 1000$ you lost 100k$? did I understand correctly? Because gambling is always a loss and always a win.

He is able to increase his bankroll from $1k to $100k and eventually goes all in and lost it.  Same goes with other statistics given by @OP.  He is always able to increase his bankroll to some extent until he decided to go all in and lose them all.

That's why if you always experience winning there are only two things, either you are really lucky or you use fraud. Today, the loss of gambling by players often in a casino is normal in gambling and cannot be changed.

I do not think @OP is cheating the casino, I believe @OP is a superb sports bettor but always got unlucky due to possibly greed or a lack of patience since his target is $1m and he wanted to hastily achieve it.

@OP you can always restart fresh and hopefully, you can learn from your previous mistakes.  Learn some bankroll management and let go of the past losses, it will only frustrates you and may affect you betting rationality.

Well, he almost had it when he made $11k  to $550k, if only he won the bet that made him lose, he could have achieve that $1m.  I believe with the skill of @OP in sportsbetting, he can definitely hit taht $1m, what he is lacking is patience since he always ends up rushing things by going all-in.

If you've been able to win up those amounts and save up a portion of it then you might not be too far off with that $1M mark on which you are wishing for on which you are really that saving it up.
But if you are really that meaning about winning a million on a single bet via those all in behavior then it could be possible but would be depending on the odds and the size of bet that you had put in.
This is why its not really that shocking that you had always that all in bets. Are these bets came mostly on parlays? Turning out those amounts into 6 digits from 4 digits does really
involved lots of lines. If you are ending up on losing it all in the end then it is really that still useless but still a good run eh?

I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.

You talk about your wins, but what about your losses? How many failed attempts were there before you were able to make such big multipliers? If the amounts spent on attempts are already greater than the amount of winnings, are these winnings so good? And will you be happy when you win the coveted million dollars if you spend a million (or more) on these attempts?

Your target is too unrealistic. 1 million dollars is a lot of money, it's impossible to make that much from betting. I think you just want to make money without putting a lot of effort into it. But that's impossible. You can make a lot of money, but you have to study and work hard to do it.

It's not even that he wants to get a million dollars. The deal is he wants to get a million starting with nothing and keep going when he's up 500% and more just to get to something crazy like 10000% profit in a session.

You're not going to get it dude, and if you do, it's going to be paid with a lot more lost money. Most gamblers are happy with small profit and you're aiming so high that although it's possible to get so much from so very little, you will keep losing time and time again before you win it back. I wouldn't be surprised if you lost 2 m. USD to later win 1 million and walk away telling yourself that you've made a million and your work is done Cheesy

Failures are countless thus, you'll always have to deal with them.

I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
Based on your wins, you have got a half million wins and a hundred thousand in total for combined winnings. You're already there to your dream for years but it's just so happens that you're not a keeper of your wins. As you deal with failure, you failed yourself in keeping your money as you chase that million dream. You're so close yet too far because of being careless.

I thought I was the only one who saw the fact that winnings were cited but the topic is concerned with failure and losses. But on my end, if I happened to win on multipliers or to simply win, and losses are still bigger, I'd still be happy I guess, atleast 'coz I'd rather choose making my losses smaller than to just continue losing on my entire gambling activity. It actually depends on one's tolerance; some would give up already once their losses blew up their wallets. For sure many gamblers who won the jackpot suffered from huge loss unless they are just lucky enough as a gambler. And if I spent millions to get a win, and the reward is bigger, it'll be props to my efforts and would for sure be happy 'coz at last, I experienced winning bigtime.

By now, if you had been using wisdom to your betting victories, you would have reached the $1 million target price you had been pursuing for years. Calculate how much money you could have gained if you learned to relax and quit being greedy by putting all of your winnings in at once (which you do lose).

It will be advisable for you to have a maximum quantity of gains you would go in for on any given day in your gambling winnings, which always end in losses. Once you've done that, your day's worth of betting is over.
