After seeing Newcastle struggle against Dortmund that much I also think they will have a hard time reaching next round in the Champions League. They had this difficulty even in their home stadium I mean. I'm not sure if they have learned their lesson to retaliate Dortmund in Germany next time. They had better do so if they want to see later rounds.

I feel like Newcastle can get at least one point against PSG (maybe) and Milan if we don't see a big change in those teams. Newcastle demolished PSG as you can remember and resisted Milan in San Siro really great.

PSG are much stronger in home matches though so that's why there is a maybe there.

In terms of scoring chances, the game with Dortmund was not as bad as the result. This time the random was on the side of Dortmund, but it is not a fact that it will be on the side of Dortmund in Dortmund. I think in the next round PSG will defeat Milan and, one might say, guarantees (at least dramatically increases the chances) a place in the 1/8. Thus, in the last game of the group stage for Newcastle, they will have to beat demotivated Milan at home. And take at least 3 points in one of the away games - against Dortmund or PSG. This is quite real.

When it comes to PSG to defeat Milan away I can't be much confident about that despite the look of the points in the group now. Because there are some pieces of the puzzle to piece together. One of them is that Milan were really effective against Newcastle in San Siro. They were in full control but couldn't finish any of their chances with a goal.

But maybe their luck can turn against PSG if they show a similar performance again. The other piece is that PSG lost hard to Newcastle away as I said before. PSG were really desperate against a team playing home really strongly.

If Milan also play as solid as Newcastle home then PSG might have big difficulties once again. They are already not a very consistent team. But this is only my thinking for this matchup so we will see.

However, this is not enough to make United qualify from the group phase to the last 16, Ten Hag squad must work hard to realize their ambitions if they don't want to be thrown into the Europa League if they finish in third place. We have seen that Bruno and his friends were able to overcome Copenhagen in the first leg, and they lost when they met Galatasaray and Munchen. Honestly, they have absolutely no other choice but to have two more wins. Galatasaray will lose to Bayern as well, and United will lose to them too, that is definitely not a question at all. However, if United beats both Copenhagen and Galatasaray, that's 6 points, which they should be able to, and they would be 9 points. In that case, even if Galatasaray beats Copenhagen, they will be at 7 points. So all in all, if United gets the two wins they should be able to get, then they will be fine.

However, if United gets even a single tie in those games, then it's game over for them give or take, depends on other teams too of course but it would put them at great risk. Galatasaray has a bigger chance at this point, they will play at home and all they need is a tie, if they get a tie and then beat Copenhagen, they will be doing quite well and won't be an issue for them and be second. That is definitely possible for them with the roster they built this season.

Exactly. If clubs give up in football, then I think Chelsea would have given up since last season, but since there is always hope in everything we do, there is no need for Manchester United to slack. They should try; they may score another match that will luckily bring back their performances as they were before; if not, they are not currently in good form. And I like how Manchester United are still managing their performance to see them play well in some matches even though they won’t score, but there are some matches where they dominate their efforts, but since they're in better form, it doesn’t go as wanted.

However, do you think going to the European League will make them improve? I don’t think so because if they are able to improve, why can’t they do that in another league? I think they should just continue going like this; they will surely get their performance back to where it was before by putting in more effort to their matches, if not because the club is currently experiencing a hard time.

Plus, Ten Hag has two new ammunition who are scheduled to recover from their injuries, namely, Casemiro and Bissaka are scheduled to return on November 5. and several players such as Malacia, Luke Shaw, are scheduled to have recovered before the match against Galatasaray in the second leg. The only blocking block in the fight for the second position for Manchester United is Galatasaray. They showed a better football skill and gameplay than Manchester United in the first leg. I wouldn't say United are playing inconsistently. For example, now they are losing the second match in a row with a score of 0-3. This has been their worst start to the season. This caused Ten Hag's chair to start shaking. Ten Hag currently receives a season salary of 11 million USD under a contract that expires in June 2025.
