Borussia Dortmund beat Newcastle home and away with Newcastle failing to find the back of the net in both fixtures which shows experience in these games matters alot.

Elsewhere, Shakhtar Donetsk who are far from home played from a neutral ground in Germany hamburg because of the war, but this performance they brought today was beyond them!! Who limits Barcelona to one shot on target when they have over 60% ball possession, it's unexplainable and Barcelona have themselves to blame and 12 player here didn't play a role either   Congrats Shakhtar, that was a brave fight!!!

Newcastle couldn't do much against Dortmund away or at home, perhaps it's the experience that counts and understanding how UCL games work that counts for experience.

My thoughts - When Dortmund suffered a heavy Bundesliga defeat by the Germans and Newcastle were able to win over Arsenal this week then thought their UCL clash would be interesting in terms of goals against each other, but it was never predicted that Newcastle would be brought to their knees by Dortmund.

Barcelona's defeat was actually surprising for Shakhtar who only won narrowly but Barcelona were unable to reply to the goal for the same position, actually Barcelona's points are safe at the moment with 9 points but they will meet Porto that will be difficult even though they have won away with a score of 1-0 it will still be worrying for Xavi because however Shakhtar Donets can catch the points if they win again in the next match.

As expected Manchester city are really cruising in this game as haaland has made it three goals to nothing and with the way the game is going I think he is certainly going to go for the hat trick. Manchester city have started evolving once more and with this current form , I think it will be difficult for any team to match and beat them but although I feel the los Blanco's can try as that team is also certainly on another level with the inform wizard Bellingham but for that match to play out we will have to wait for them in the knock out stages.

For sure, it seems that the game will be somehow difficult for one of these teams, as we all think this game will be somehow tough for both of them. However, PSG are playing at home, which will give them the morale to do everything in their power to succeed in the game.

The both teams are playing well currently and I seeing the game as a tough match, which I can't say which team will win the way the match is going on.but it may possible the game should end in draw because if any team score they are high probability that the opponent will equalize because the both teams are give good attacking. It is ac Milan home game and with that I never think ac Milan will take it easy with psg  despite I know psg is the stronger team, but let see what will happen at the end of the game because first half is about to end.

To be honest, It was the most entertaining match between all of the others tonight. What impressed me and out of the game is the supporters' tifo of Ac Milan that was a response to the first leg match for PSG fans. The first half was good in all sides from fans to goals and game play.
Ac Milan played well today and they had more chances after the draw, which was a good boost for them to give their best for anothr goal. They didn't succeed in first half with many close chances, if PSG don't do something in their defensive lines they will lose the match.

 Barca's defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk earlier was so suprising cause they dealt with Donetsk in their previous meeting and I felt they could still do same away from home, but I was wrong the 2nd time and both matches have taken me by suprise, the good thing is that Barcelona's chances of qualifying for the next round is still intact though they'll need to win the remaining matches.

During 1st game Dortmund beat Newcastle with 1 goal and today which is the 2nd game they won Newcastle with 2 goals. Dortmund is now at the top of their group followed by PSG. We can now attest to the fact that PSG and Dortmund will be the team to qualify in group F. However I don't want to conclude because PSG vs Millan id currently active who knows if Millian might win PSG and come up second in the group. There is a saying it's not over untill it's over. I thought that the second leg would be different from the first because of Newcastle's well-known strong performances. However, I also thought that Dortmund would win because they would have the advantage of playing at home, which is exactly what happened. After a 1:0 loss in the first leg, Dortmund scored two goals in the second leg to advance to the top position in the group stage.

The game is over, and I was shocked to see that Barcelona had lost to Shakhtar in their second meeting. I doubt that Barcelona would have faced any opposition in that group if it hadn't been for Porto,  all Barcelona star players are available but still lose, Lewandowski is not even happy at all, but that is soccer anything can happen. But even if they had won, Porto would still be in second place, if they maintain and win against Royal Antwerp.

Manchester City remains the best team in the Champions League this season again just like last season, they are also a favorite to win the Champions League alongside Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and others; because of these reason, I did not doubt any of their group stage matches because I knw that they will smoothly lead their group and qualify to the knockout stage.

As far as I'm aware, Newcastle has shown more than enough in their week-long games. After playing and winning some of their tough and crucial matches like Arsenal (Premier League) and Manchester United (EFL), how can we expect them to play at their best against Dortmund at home after they had three consecutive matches in different leagues in a week?

It will definitely be very interesting if in the end Milan can get 3 points in this match because then the points from Dortmund, PSG, Milan and Necwastle are only 1 point away (If Milan wins).
I am happy if it ends up like that because this is the so-called Hell group where every club can still compete for tickets to qualify for the knock out phase.

In performances like what Barcelona had today, you'd know the coach got it wrong. They couldn't create chances. They had no shot on target in the first half. They had only two attempts the whole half. That's disappointing. They looked better in the final 20 minutes of the match but that wasn't enough.

I don't think Barcelona is safe. They need to win at least one of their remaining two matches to top the group. It would be bad if they do t top their group. Topping their group gives them an opportunity to play a relatively lesser team in the r16.

They play Porto next at home. That is a much win match because both teams are fighting for the top spot. It was supposed to be a pretty easy group for Barcelona but things might turn around.
