The way Newcastle are performing with their average squad is admirable. They beat a strong PSG team by a big margin in the Champions League match. We saw a good performance from the Newcastle team. But I would be happy if Newcastle could qualify for the Europa League. I'm not sure if Newcastle will finish third in the Group F table.

I watched that second leg game between Copenhagen and Manchester United and I can attest to the fact that the team is very strong one that plays with so much determination and resilience. If Copenhagen had a better chance of qualification, then so be it, they've worked for it, they deserve it and they'll definitely earn it. Real Madrid had some failures as well. But this season they don't look as strong as last season and we can see some of the defeats they faced in the Premier League against clubs that were far below them. This is something to consider when looking at their condition in the domestic league, although we will not try to make predictions solely relying on the quality of their play in the English league.

I still see the opportunity for Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich and AC Milan as strong candidates as teams that will qualify for the semifinals and I want to see Real Madrid who will face Bayern Munich in the final. I won't comment about Eddie Howe because I know he's doing a great job at St James Park stadium this season, making the Magpies qualify for the UEFA Champions spot and also contending against elite teams. Bayern is one of strongest team this season. It has a very strong club and adding kane to the line up made bayern is very strong. kane has been also recording fantastic result by making 17 goals from 13 games. that's unbelievable result. This can be more once kane will be fully adapted to the club.

I would guess that even being there for the first time in a long while is the most important part, I do not think that they really feel like they need to win anything. Not like Newcastle went there to be the winner, that is not their aim and never was, they didn't really hope to get the UCL title, they went there to gain some continental competition experience and they got it, that's more than enough for them.

I believe that as long as they keep doing this, they should be fine, I do not really see them getting any bigger or better, doesn't feel like it would be something all that weird. I get that it may not be all that increasingly difficult to handle, it just feels like this is going to be something that they could be ok about.

Arsenal come right after the trio of Manchester City - Bayern Munich - Real Madrid as for the biggest title contenders. Bookies are giving quite a good level of chance for Arsenal to be competitive for the Champions League title. Arteta has made a really good level of progress with Arsenal since the day he joined the team.  

They are getting better and more consistent in the Premier League also on one hand. They are playing ambitiously in the Champions League too. This high effort would end by a good result here hopefully. I especially wonder how good they will be against the biggest title contenders such as the examples I have given.

They beat Manchester City in the Premier League already for example so I wonder what kind of a scenario we would have in the Champions League.

Man United position in the Champion League is quite pressed, like it or not, Copenhagen and Galatasaray have shown how their enthusiasm can change the mentality of their players on the field. Man United potential to qualify is very thin, even if it has to fall once it deserves to be obtained as a form of lesson where mental readiness, stable players and most importantly qualified coaches will be complementary. Galatasaray and Copenhagen may not have top players like Man United but when on the field teamwork, getting rid of each other's egos creates a more manageable match path.

Man United chance to qualify is very big, it's even still in their own hand. They only need to win their last two game. but the thing about Manchester united is their form that makes people doubting their ability to maximize their chance because they have an away game against Galatasaray remembering their away games records is not good.

and also their home game against Bayern is tough. even though Bayern have guaranteed their spot in round of 16, but Manchester United need to be in the right mentality to beat Bayern. This is a big challenge for Ten Hag, because the failure to qualify will hit him and his players mentality in a bad way throughout the season.

Honestly for me Arsenal doesn't have a team ready to win the Champions League, it's true that they play well but honestly they don't seem equipped enough to win, to start with that Arsenal isn't yet sure of going through and there's still 2 to go quite important matches, so the estimates given by the bookmakers are a bit random in my opinion, but I could also be wrong

Kevin De Bruyne is out of the squad due to injury. This is why Manchester City have become more dependent on Haaland's performance. But  since Haaland is consistently performing well, we are seeing excellent performances from Manchester City  in every match. On the other hand, Real Madrid team is dependent  on their midfielders. I have no doubt that the two forward  players Vini and Rodrygo are very talented. But they also miss plenty of easy opportunities. It is not possible for Real Madrid to maintain consistency depending on the performance of these two teams. Real Madrid depend on the performance of Kross and Bellingham.

Every club must have key platers that the tean depends on and when those players are not present in any of their matches, it will be noticed because the tram performance will drop. Gundogan and De Bruyne contributed a lot to Manchester City success last season and since Manchester City is lacking these two players, it will affect their performance in reaching the finals.

Real Madrid still have hope that Vini will be back to his top form after some time, we could see this in their previous match in their domestic league where these two players Vini and Rodrigo scored tow goals each. Bellingham is doing great and I don't think that he will not be able to bring out his best performance as he has already shown the world that he is having a wonderful time in Real Madrid with the way he performs his dying minutes magic goals. Kross is doing well only if he has injury that it will be a problem for Real Madrid. From the look of things, I think that Real Madrid has a better chance of winning the league than Manchester City.

Manchester United is filled with injured players. Goalkeeper Andre Onana was added to the general list. While playing for the Cameroon national team in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, the goalkeeper was injured. Thus, he was added to the club’s list of injured: Hoylund, Eriksen, Evans, Martinez.

Is it just me or is the number of injuries during this break abnormal? Real lost two players at once, some clubs have also already suffered and there are still enough games ahead for the list of injured to be replenished. I would like to know what this is connected with - for example, last season had a tighter schedule of games due to the winter World Cup, but I don’t remember such an epidemic of injuries.
