Guardiola has been also preparing some names that may be recruited soon. The name like dani olmo has also become main target to replace de bruyne since he has become even older than before. The coach needs to prepare a proper replacement once he will decide to join in saudi pro league club.

I think that's what Guardiola has to do to be able to find the right replacement in KDB's position, whereas what I see since KDB doesn't play for Manchester City, it seems difficult to get a win against a club that should be easy to beat, Manchester City isn't as good as last season. Manchester City's attack is getting better and Manchester City's back line still needs improvement too.

I think there isn't that much time left until he returns, unless he injures himself again while trying to return or he reinjures himself after returning, there is just like 2 months left. I understand that start of 2024 seems like a very late period to make a comeback but that's when they will need him, he gets to play at league games, and training, and when it matters at UCL he should be ready, because the last games are a bit later than that, they will still have plenty of knock off stage games and they will play properly there with KDB.

If they try to do something about it, like maybe get replacement, he will be still there so your replacement would not work, unless KDB injures himself again of course, that is the only exception. I do not think that he will though, I think he will come back at the start of January, that is like 40 days left, I believe he will be ready to play no matter what and he should be doing as much good to them as he can after he rejoins them.

Why are you bothered about the present situation of Manchester City, because I know they can survive without these players and having them around is basically important on the same chapter. He doesn't go for big names, rather he go straight forward for the bigger average players in mediocre teams.

Just think back to the Champions league final last season when De Bruyne got injured in the middle of the match, did Foden replace him badly? Of course Arsenal have received more attention this season in the Champions League since Arteta has really been able to boost the team's performance in the last two seasons. Although Arsenal has less experience in UCL, I agree that no team should underestimate Arsenal. Arsenal has a good squad, it is a strong team in EPL. In the last 2 seasons, Arsenal already became a stronger team in EPL, they are the top 4 of EPL teams. Sure, they only got 1 defeat in UCL group stage so far, they won 3 matches. I think it is quite good results, they are still leading the table at least. If there is no significant change, Arsenal will finish the group stage with a status of the group leader. Anyway, I'm sure Arsenal has a chance to win the UCL trophy. Don't underestimate them, Arsenal can defeat even the favorite team like Man City.

Newcastle unarguably produced their best performance of the season when they comfortably thrashed Paris Saint Germaine in their first leg meeting of the season but that I don't think is gonna happen again when they visit the French champions after the international break.
Paris Saint Germaine will be playing the game at home and would definitely want to prove a point to everyone that Newcastle's win in their first meeting of the season was just a lucky day for the Magpies and not because Newcastle are better than they are. It's gonna be a tough game but I expect PSG to win the game.

I agree that Newcastle performed quite well so far. If we consider their squad quality, they are capable to beat PSG. However, Newcastle players are not in good condition, many of the key players are injured now. I don't argue they can beat PSG, but I think it won't happen in the upcoming match. PSG looks difficult to defeat with Newcastle bad condition. It becomes harder because PSG players are ready for their 100% power for the upcoming match, it is also held in their stadium. So, they will have more motivation to win the match. Yes, everyone must expect PSG to win the match, dude.

Since the start of the season I have been very enthusiastic about welcoming Arsenal to the Champions League considering they have been absent for quite a long time. I still hope that this team from London will continue to be a threat to other strong teams that have often won titles and considering that Arsenal is a big team that has never won a title here, of course it will be a challenge for them to at least make a surprise until they advance to the further rounds. There is no doubt that they can qualify and become group winners and maybe I would like to see them progress to the quarterfinals. Everything in this group is ready for Arsenal to pass this stage and the chance for this team is very high to stay in first place in the table at the end.

Arsenal has not yet faced a club like real madrid or bayern munich. The situation kinda different if arsenal would be placed at the group F. I kinda feel arsenal may not be able to pass the group stage when it was placing there. Newcastle being unlucky.
It was participating in UCL after many years but it's also being grouped with many strong teams from the various league. Barcelona and arsenal are the luckiest team at this moment.
These clubs are not getting hard group. Barcelona and arsenal were able passing the group stage easily as there was no competition on their groups. The situation is kinda different when it will be coming to the last 16.

Their consistency still in checked. They have not won at the same rate they did last season but anyways, they haven't slacked down in the group they're innit.
I loved the opening game against Psv. That was one of them finest games winning both half's of the game and showing full strength and support. Having a young team is good, it'll be like more of a future investment and those players.

Sevilla though have not been serious, the management also.I feel totally sad they won't be qualifying for the next round but that said. Sevilla if they drop down to the Europa League will show the monster and breast in em.

The big win over PSV was very surprising, especially considering PSV's status as the top of the Eredivisi standings so far without ever losing. It was an undisputed first win and the Gunners did well with no gaps in their defence.

Regarding Sevilla, we know their behavior in the Champions League competition and they really weren't serious when it came to getting a place in this competition after winning the European League like the previous season. Sevilla may always have plans to go down to Europe's second competition and that is an inevitable fact every season. They know better which competitions can favor them to win and even win the title. So we just know enough about this and they are indeed the most troublesome monsters in their area.

I may also be curious, whether in the next transfer window Manchester City will bring in new players of course, to strengthen their midfield or maybe their attack line. EPL have turned out to become an easy league for Manchester City, consistently winning the Cup as if there's no competitor for them. How can an elite team have an experience coach like Pep Guardiola and not win major trophies? Present situation of Manchester city is not too bad for their coach not to handle within two matches, and you cannot use Manchester city to compare Manchester united that is still struggling with small teams that can't withstand Manchester city in this season. Despite De Bruyne and other players that had injuries are not yet back to Manchester city, they are still toping some teams that their players are fully on ground but they are still experiencing some challenges. I believe, Manchester city coach will definitely sign some potential players that will make the team to continue function like the way it function last season for Manchester city to embraced Many titles , which they will still like to introduce the same strategy in this season to make it happen again in this champions league competition and other competitions too.

You know what impressed me the most? It is not that one game that Copenhagen has played so well in the Champions League group. Every bad team could have a great and lucky day. What impressed me so much about Copenhagen is that they played four great games in the group, could have tied the game against Bayern Munich, could have won the game away from home against Galatasaray, won the game against Manchester United and lost the other game with only one goal in England. This is what made me think twice about this team and how I underestimated them. I thought that this is going to be an easy group for Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but seriously this was a tough group for them and Manchester United will probably fail to pass it.

The team is not tough for Bayern Munich because they’ve won all of the matches they’ve played in the group, only Manchester United will see the group very tough for them to pass through because of how many points they’ve earned, their position on the table and their chances of qualifying to the next round of the competition which is very much unlikely seeing how they are playing now even in their domestic league. Like I have said in the past, Manchester United underrated the other two teams; Galatasaray and Copenhagen which they needed not to and play with full force with them. They had their chances in the past already but were not able to convert it to their advantage. They have only earned 3 points with 4 matches already played. Their two remaining matches could in the best case be a draw and a draw which will not give them a qualification to the next round of the competition.

As I can't tell how interested you are in football and how much you follow the games, it's probably worthless to talk about those games when my assumption is that you don't watch them.

Without a doubt was that group quite hard for Bayern Munich and if you were to ask the players, I tell you that they will say that this was a whole lot of work they were going through and that some games were about to end in a draw or loss.

That is why posting only one part of my whole post doesn't make sense and you should also read back when I quoted someone to get an idea of what I am trying to say. There was some sarcasm because someone said that Manchester City has been winning the league easily for quite some time, but that is not true. It was really tough for them and Liverpool pushed them hard. Saying that it is easy for Manchester City to win the league is not correct as they have to work hard for their success as the results show.

Basically, nothing comes easy for anyone in the title race even though the points gap may seem bigger between the title winners and runners up at the end of the season. The Premier League is a tight league in the fight for the title every season, but so far Manchester City has really managed to dominate and win more titles than any other team in the last 6 seasons.

I agree that it is not true to say that Manchester City had it easy, but it is very logical to say that Manchester City was able to get out of the pressure well and successfully defend its title. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United will certainly struggle to stop dominating and applying pressure throughout the season, but Manchester City are still able to maintain their form well. This season is uncertain, but I have put them as favorites even in this Champions League.

That's true and it makes more sense to emphasize how Manchester City was able to handle high pressure situations both in the Champions League and in the Premier Leaghe (more so in the Premier League for a long time) and how that could help them win the Champions League title again as they now know what's coming. The guy I responded to says that since they won the Premier League a couple of times, it was almost easy.

If you think the same way about the Champions League, I believe everyone knows how many games were so close when Real Madrid won their Champions League titles. It could not have been any closer during many of those matches.

The gap is too big. Manchester city has owned 1 UCL trophy compared with real madrid which was 16 troohies. Will city able to consistently winning UCL till 16 years later? Ithat's impossible to happen. I think that it's quite irrelevant to think city is willing to match real madrid's record.
Manchester city is just doing its best to make sure the club will able to defend its trophy and no more. I see no intention owned by city to compete with real madrid in term of achievement.
Real madrid has been known as the best club in the world with consistency to win the trophy in any seasons. Im not even sure if pep will able to stay at manchester city till his contract will be running out.

I thought that this is going to be an easy group for Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but seriously this was a tough group for them and Manchester United will probably fail to pass it.

The team is not tough for Bayern Munich because they’ve won all of the matches they’ve played in the group, only Manchester United will see the group very tough for them to pass through because of how many points they’ve earned, their position on the table and their chances of qualifying to the next round of the competition which is very much unlikely seeing how they are playing now even in their domestic league. Like I have said in the past, Manchester United underrated the other two teams; Galatasaray and Copenhagen which they needed not to and play with full force with them. They had their chances in the past already but were not able to convert it to their advantage. They have only earned 3 points with 4 matches already played. Their two remaining matches could in the best case be a draw and a draw which will not give them a qualification to the next round of the competition.

As I can't tell how interested you are in football and how much you follow the games, it's probably worthless to talk about those games when my assumption is that you don't watch them.

Without a doubt was that group quite hard for Bayern Munich and if you were to ask the players, I tell you that they will say that this was a whole lot of work they were going through and that some games were about to end in a draw or loss.

The game against Galatasaray was Galatasaray only. Bayern Munich didn't take place until the second half of the second half, yes, you read this correctly. I don't know exactly but it took Bayern Munich 65 - 70 minutes to get into the game. Before that Galatasaray could have long won it.

The game against Manchester United and Copenhagen were both close and Bayern was behind until late in the game against Copenhagen.

When a team won every game in a group, it doesn't mean that the group was easy.

I think every team that participates in the Champions League group stage is a great team that really has the capability to become a winner in the Champions League. There is indeed a difference in level between representatives from small European leagues and teams from the big leagues, but it still does not rule out the possibility that those from the small leagues will become dark horses in this competition.

So I think the competition in Group A is a tough battle for all of these teams, and if in fact, Bayern Munich can win all their matches, it doesn't mean they have an easy opponent to play against, but because they can play with consistent performance while their opponents may be having their own problems which prevents them from playing optimally.

Since the start of the season I have been very enthusiastic about welcoming Arsenal to the Champions League considering they have been absent for quite a long time. I still hope that this team from London will continue to be a threat to other strong teams that have often won titles and considering that Arsenal is a big team that has never won a title here, of course it will be a challenge for them to at least make a surprise until they advance to the further rounds. There is no doubt that they can qualify and become group winners and maybe I would like to see them progress to the quarterfinals. Mikel Arteta's players are filled with many young players and all of them are very talented, so it's worth paying attention to whoever the team will be the opponent.

Arsenal have started a new chapter since showing impressive performances last season, a small mistake towards the end of the competition meant they failed to win the EPL but they managed to get a ticket to the UCL. Arsenal's consistent performance can certainly pose a threat to other strong teams that have previously won the UCL trophy.
This season Arsenal cannot be underestimated, the surprises provided by Arsenal must be watched out for by other top clubs. Arsenal journey in the Group stage was so smooth that they have the potential to qualify for the next round as group winners, this is very good for them because they can avoid stronger clubs in the top 16.

UEFA Champions League are for the main elite teams and strong competitors, there's nothing consider as elite and mediocre teams because every single club in UCL is consider a champion and every club has probability of winning. There's absolutely no reason for us to underestimates any club in UEFA Champions League competition because its not consider an easy quest to fight your way through qualifying for top four in their perspective Leagues. Manchester United, that is consider a flopping team also sits for UCL matches and that's one of the big motivation for the Red Devils.
