Half of the rich people keep continue to swim in fame and wealth because of their occupied landed properties. If you own a land, housing estate you can be sure living great but this wealth are mostly control by political leaders and BD individuals......if you're blessed enough begins to occupy property's that can sure your next generation... In my country Nigeria if you don't have any of this properties forget yourself, you will end up making life mortgage and tenancy. Land never depreciates it keeps buying higher that's why I considered it the best investment. What do you think?

If I will have some money in the future, I will surely invest in buying some farmland so that I will have some passive income. As time passes by, land value always gets higher it is also depends on its place, location and purpose we well. Land is a good investment but requires a little bit huge money in order for you to buy a decent amount of hectares or Sq meter.

Physical assets are the best in the business of investment. And land or properties are the one that is going to give you a long term profits. These are the only thing that you can rent out to other people to make profits without doing anything. One time investment and lifetime support. To make it a bit better, house or buildings are going to be the best bet. If you can invest in them and build those, then you can rent them out for a passive, steady income. Which is in my opinion is the best.
If you can get your hands on properties that are in business area, man you are in luck. These places will give you the best value in return. I missed a chance like this before Covid hit. After that was over, there were shops and industries built around that land. If I had bought that land, I would have been in a great profit. That's just one regret that I have, but the lesson I got from that is much valuable than that. Now I know how many potential lands have in terms of investment. The longer you own that land, the more value you will get. That's the magic about it.

land is just becoming more scarce. due to explosive population growth, many people want to own a piece of it, building skyscraper might be a short-term solution, there ain't many tall building in every civilization, but I strongly believe a tall building mark the peak of a civilization, ancient people build pyramid, temple, tower during the peak of their time, lastly they would migrate to a new land to do the same again. Why is it a best investment? i know that land is a business that will continue to increase ^{(depending on the country inflation)} but in some countries like China, property prices have led to an bubble-investment, it is impossible for young people to own a house or a land because of the imbalance between house prices and their income from work.  if you are not an old rich person or born from a wealthy family then don't expect you to be a successful land or housing property investor, unless you are really lucky to get a jackpot or you have a business that is growing very rapidly.

If you buy a land in a terrible environment maybe a waterlogged area where houses cannot and have not been built, you are certainly going to regret it. For me, agriculture tops my list, landed properties comes next. It is the best investment is agriculture where farming or animal rearing. That's one concern that every land investor will do. Of course, if you're into this business, you won't buy those pieces of land that are located in ugly locations. Well, this will require you more money in investing into agricultural lands but there's no debate on it that they're one of the best. Some parents or grandparents would really be mindful about such stuff on which trying out to leave on something on their sons/daughts or grandchildrens and that is why they are really that eager

when it comes on buying land properties but of course it would really be just for those family or people who are wealthy and financially capable on doing this, knowing that these type of investments
is really that not something cheap or simply its really that expensive but i do agree on some points on here that success would really be varying on where these lands or places been located.
Whether it would really be something that strategic or simply just way too far off on potential development site.

This is why whenever you do make out decisions on buying land then you should really be having those considerations or criteria that would really be suiting out on the list.

I think never should rarely, if ever, be mentioned in any statement involving investments or finance.  In fact, the whole "real estate never goes down" kind of thinking got a whole lot of people in trouble back in 2006-08 when the housing market crashed.  Loans were being given to people who clearly had no way to pay them back, and everyone thought the market was going to soar forever....but then reality came crashing down.

What are real estate prices like in Nigeria, anyway?  It might make sense to own land that can be kept through generations there, but where I live (the US), unless you're extremely rich or have an atypical mindset, land is rarely passed down from one generation to another.  If heirs wind up with a relative's house, they usually sell it rather than keep it and all the associated expenses (which can be quite substantial).

So I'm of mixed mind about owning property, because I can see the advantages and disadvantages equally well.  What's always turned me off from owning a house is the upkeep and taxes, and that's on top of being kept prisoner by the home you live in.  Once you buy one and move in, it's not likely you're going to sell it and move anytime soon even if you want to.  If you're a renter, that's really not an issue, and I kind of like that freedom of not being stuck in a house that would be hard to move out of.

Investment in real estate is the right direction, it is a fundamental investment that can be considered one of the most reliable, in particular commercial property in a good location will almost always be in demand. But I would not put all my eggs in one basket, so real estate is good, but I would still spread my investments into several directions, bitcoin, real estate and some kind of business that will provide people with their daily needs.

I have absolutely the same ideas. There are concepts that are indisputable to me: God, Gold/Bitcoin and land.

A 51% attack for Bitcoin is near impossible, but possible. One day, thanks to space mining, the supply of gold may expand. God is not the subject of knowing. However, Earth is the planet with the best living conditions among the nearby galaxies, and the land on it is limited and the land obtained by filling the sea is not healthy either.

If I didn't live with my family, I would prefer to live in a small prefabricated house in a large field. My first priority would always be to have a land with a larger floor area.

The thing is, it's hard to penetrate the real estate business if you don't have prior experience to it, no money to purchase lands/foreclosed properties, or don't have any connections on the said investment vehicle. Those that I mentioned are the most important things you need to have in order to make money in real estate. This is no longer the 80s or 90s wherein it's fairly easy to acquire a property somewhere and hold on to it. Everything is being gatekept nowadays by land developers and other commercial investors that the average person can no longer get a piece of the action in this asset class.

A friend of mine with no prior connections to anyone in the land/real estate world was able to but himself solid properties but he still needed to develop those himself. Still this goes to show that anyone with good credit and the money to boot will be able to buy properties without a sweat. If stuff liek that works you could still look into buying properties outside ofcyour country just like what Japan’s been doing all these years cause of their declining population. Houses there are at a surplus and people are just leaving homes—even in the busiest parts of Japan for some reason. There are a lot of factors to consider when investing in land and real estate.
The belief that Landed properties always appreciate is false. I've seen a man that invested heavily in real estate in a particular area and everything was going well until gang clashes began to occur in that area and the area became really unsafe. Landed properties aren't for instant profits, it might take your friend 10 or more years to recover the money he spent building the rented apartments but after that he'll continue making money for a lifetime if he maintain the house and renovate it to the new standards as new and modern things comes out. One mistake many house owners make is they forget about maintaining their property and think it'll keep giving them money for life.

When you renovate your apartments always, you can always get high rents for the old house. You have to spend some money for the renovations maybe you do it every 5 years to keep your talents happy and make the house attractive to new talents looking for house to rent.

Before the inception of the internet, physical assets have been a very good goal to enriching people who know early enough and have the resources it takes. Even with the internet, landed properties continues to thrive and would continue because it is such an asset with almost certainty that it would continue to give a better ROI.

Some land could just skyrocket to over 1000% ROI in just 5 years, this has happened many times, especially when there are new events, institutions, businesses/industries that are brought to that area. This is why no matter how much I have on the internet as an investmenet, I make sure that 30% of my assets is still on landed properties.

Being early is important because the price of the assets is still cheap and when there are more people discovered it, that is the time for its value to rise. I heard in the elders that land before are almost free. If you are first to stay on that place, you will now own that land. Pretty cool isn't it? But, now the scene has changed.

A 1000% increase in land for the next 5 years seems long compared to cryptos, most especially the newer ones but newer cryptos are only more risky. This is their only downside. I don't agree with that, people are investing every day, while some are doing it unknowingly. I don't know why anyone would not want to have lands and properties even without crypto, that's an investment. As far as I understand what he means, he is saying that investing in cryptocurrency will be easier because you can invest with any amount you have, anyone can invest.  but with real estate, to be able to invest, we need to have a very large amount of money, and not everyone has that amount.
I agree with what he said, I am also a real estate enthusiast, but since I have no money, I have never dared to think about investing. but with cryptocurrency, I had a chance to experiment, and it can even help me to make big money to invest in real estate these days.
