This isn't their age to learn this bullshit, you at your 30s are learning it for the first time and now trying to enforce it to them at the age of 13.
No financial advice should be given to a child before they turn 16. Let them enjoy life, it's too complicated after that.
Taking your point into consideration, Bitcoin was not in existence until created in 2009 and I guess a lot of us here who are within the age of 30 now and above didn't have the opportunity to have Bitcoin in existence at age of 13 for these comparison, maybe some us here might have also had the opportunity to be taught Bitcoin stuffs by our parents, Therefore I see no wrong teaching kids things about Bitcoin at age of 13 ,if they are interested to learn and if their brains can catch it up because some kids at age 13 are smart in capturing things as if they are in their age 20s .

However, the decision varies from parents to parents who are Bitcoin enthusiast to decide what age they want their kids to know about Bitcoin so far the kids are within their teenage age.

Well I guess you made a point and since bitcoin  wasn't in existence earlier, what then happened to the early adopters of bitcoin, I guess this is where the eagerness to wanting kids know about bitcoin  earlier comes in.
The simple concept of bitcoin is buying low and selling high,  anything away from this, is additional and as such there is no need burdening kids with the knowledge  when we know that they can't buy for now.
Since most persons missed out of bitcoin in its early stage, I think they regrets its been pushed to the kids and now wanting to see them do things they missed possibly in the hard way.

First, we have to check if our kids have an interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies once we introduce them to them. An introduction would be enough for you to know whether they're interested in it. However, we should let them decide if they will spend time in studying about Bitcoin at a young age or not. We better give them a chance to decline or accept it because it will be hard for them to absorb everything at their age. Let kids play and enjoy things that are accurate to their age and never force them to focus on things that will make them feel like being punished.
We must make them choose the path that they want to enjoy because forcing them will just lead them to weak decision-making when they grow up. There's a proper approach when introducing Bitcoin to kids but we should keep in mind that not everyone will accept and be interested in it just like adults.

I already said this numerous times in the past threads but I will say it again.

There is nothing wrong with teaching our kids about bitcoin and what is cryptocurrency because either way, sooner or later, they will need it just like how we need it, but we should know as well that there is a right timing for that because we surely do not want to rob them from the freedom of being a kid and doing what they want as at this phase, it is their time to explore and to know things that suits their age. Teaching them at a very early age may sound gibberish to them and our effort may be futile because they just do not know what we are saying as it is not their time to know about it, yet.

I've seen several threads where people preach teaching bitcoin to kids and I've also seen threads where others talked about having  some savings(investments) in bitcoin  for their kids which is right.

Just as my topic reads, we should stop stressing  kids with wanting them do things we didn't meet up doing and at some points getting them mentally stressed.

Please don't get me wrong because I'm typically  not against teaching  or maybe introducing bitcoin  to your kids but I'm  on the opinion  that rather than bother them with this complicated digital asset (bitcoin) knowing fully well that no matter how much knowledge  we have about it, if we don't have the money to buy, then we'll  certainly  miss out, and judging from this, I don't think it's wise teaching them or wanting to force it on them when we know that they can't afford it.

I will suggest that, rather than bore them with the history of bitcoin,  why not get a portfolio for them and keep investing in it and watch it grow with them and when they're of age, then you can practically  show them the needful.

I want to know if there are people who also share same opinion with me and please lets just discuss rather than argue
There are a few points where I don't really agree with this.
I agree when it says don't stress children with bitcoin but on the other hand our job as parents is not like that I think. because there is nothing wrong with introducing children to bitcoin considering we are also here and introducing it to children is a good thing.
It's just that we have to pay attention to what we really have to do and what we shouldn't do.
Our job is only to introduce not force children to be in bitcoin. we only have the right to provide further introduction to bitcoin not that we have to force them to like it. As for when they like it with some material or even just watching cartoons about bitcoin then it's obviously very good. but when not then there is no need to force it.
Even if it is our own child but their future is determined by their own hands and we as parents only facilitate it so that the child can further develop their interests.
The child will not feel stressed if the way we do it is appropriate.

Kids should be given their space. If we were specific about the age group, it'll be better whether the kids can be taught about bitcoin or not. Even the educated people who have got used to technology find it hard to understand bitcoin. How does the kids understand about bitcoin, it is really tedious process. Teaching things at the right age will be beneficial and easy understanding than early teaching. So, it is good to let kids enjoy their childhood than forcing them towards something that is not for them.

I'm not wanting to cut the quote because I want to talk about everything and I'm not so against introducing  bitcoin  to our children possibly  in some friendly and also comic way.
But I have issues with parents who at some points make it seems they're transferring their regrets to their kids and since they missed out of bitcoin  from its early stage, now think that their kids in their early age could  catch up with it before they're grown which is actually stressing the kids.
I stand on the opinion  that, rather than wanting to stress kids with the knowledge from below the age of 13, we should have a private portfolio  for them and grow it for them so that when they're of age, it will be easier for them to assimilate the teachings.

I am the type of person who never forces children to follow what I do, but I also plan to give them an understanding of bitcoin after graduating from high school. For me it is important to give them an understanding of investing in bitcoin and they will make their own decisions when they have able to be responsible with his life. But at least we have to teach them that bitcoin is an asset that is able to maintain a store of value in the long term, taking into account the risks that will occur in investing in it.

It is the responsibility of parents to teach good things to their children, but in terms of introducing bitcoin, parents must also look at the age of their children, so that their concentration in school education is not disturbed by their intention to make money. At the right time they will definitely know bitcoin from their father's life experience and although sometimes not directly introduced by their parents, the internet and technology are the closest source that might bring them to bitcoin.

You're seeing this the wrong way dude.

Nobody out there's gonna rub bitcoin over their kid's face just to make sure the kid knows how to work with bitcoin and what it is. That much is known amongst the people in this forum. What they are advocating for is just the bare minimum, letting kids know there's something that is as monumental as bitcoin, give them the opportunity to use it first-handedly without losing their own cash in the process, and basically set them up for success should they see bitcoin as a worthy investment/venture. No one's out there lecturing their kids chalk on one hand slapping stick on the other what bitcoin is and who the fuck Satoshi is. You're literally supposing as if kids are getting the short end of the stick in this situation when it's a win-win for them cause hello, when done right bitcoin is a lifetime investment that will set you up for success.

Well its just common sense that all of us parents wouldnt really be doing such stuff on which teaching up our kids about Bitcoin or crypto on a very harsh way.We know that these young minds cant really be able to

comprehend on what you are gonna trying to say because we know that this isnt something that could really be known or understand in one day. Also you should really assure that your children is really that able to
have the right mind and preparation about learning up new things. Let them enjoy their youth and able to enjoy their childhood but with some mix of sharing up some new things or learning along the way
but not on a forced manner on which you are really tending to share up things according into your interest. We know that sharing up such knowledge into our children about this is really that
ideal because we've been thinking about the future but just like on what the rest been saying that there is really a right time for everything.

That is the result of overzealousness when assuming bitcoin is proven to work, so everyone around is considered to have to learn it too, especially someone who needs financial improvement.
I understand that the intentions are good after their first impression, but they also don't think that bitcoin won't always be work to generate profits (as is the common view that bitcoin is like a money machine).
Everyone is not meant to know about Bitcoin since everything is timing. There are some people that was never a friend of Bitcoin or crypto at large with what they have seen so far from people around them, they decided to learn about cryptocurrency and make moeny6frim themselves. We don't need to force people to learn about what we know and what had been putting food on our table. We need to allow people to rest and express themselves in the best way possible.
Action speaks louder than voice so we don't need to bother  convincing people about why they need to learn about Bitcoin. It if optional and practical.

I get the point that the OP is trying to make with this post. I get his argument that, regardless of how much information the kids have about bitcoin, if we don't invest for them, they will miss out on it since, regardless of your level of knowledge, investing in bitcoin and generating profits is what counts.

The kids having the knowledge about bitcoin is ideal but not investing in it, is similar to the situation of those who were aware of bitcoin in its early stages but chose not to invest in it. Are they not feeling bad about it at times? Teaching the kids about bitcoin is never enough. We should make investments on their behalf so that, as the kids get older, we can transfer ownership to them.

Explaining the knowledge of introducing bitcoin to children must be at the right time according to their age who have understood the era of technological development, so they catch the point of the explanation and they can already explore their understanding via the internet. But I agree not to force them to like bitcoin because everyone has future goals but we teach them to continue managing crypto assets from their parents if for example their parents are sick or die.

The public already knows a lot about bitcoin even though their location is not the basis of a group involved in crypto, so I think even if we don't introduce bitcoin to children, the children will definitely learn it from the internet media because bitcoin news has been made everywhere and the television media has also raise the popularity of cryptocurrency to be known by all levels of society.

Our children have nothing to do with bitcoin; all they care about are their unimportant ambitions as children, such as knowing the latest movie, primarily cartoons, and anticipating in online video games. They have no time to learn about the realities of the real world; it is not their responsibility to deal with it at such a young age; that is why we exist, to teach them and grow their minds into more mature beings. Teaching children about bitcoin is a fantastic idea; it never has a bad impact on the children; rather, as time passes, they will continue to grow and fit into the space. So I'm suggesting we should give them time while also providing them with bitcoin functionality.

With respect, I diverge from your view. Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin arent just convoluted digital assets. They're a major overhaul in the financial system. They might seem complex, but isnt every groundbreaking idea? Is it prudent to shield our youngsters from this, fearing stress? Hardly! The focus isnt on immediate Bitcoin ownership, but grasping its potential and its societal and fiscal implications.

By suggesting portfolio setup, arent we simply extending the traditional saving model? Wheres the pedagogy? If we trust Bitcoin' potential, we should arm our kids with knowledge, not just fiscal gain. So, its not about "Should we educate our kids on Bitcoin?" Its "How best can we do it?"

It was a big challenge to teach them and it was not just on our part but also on their side as well.
Of course, it was good at their young age they will know about Bitcoin and its key role in the crypto space. But encouraging them to think bigger about investing, seems not the appropriate time. Yes, it should be done at the right age and that is when they are capable enough to make decisions on their own. It should not be forced, learning can be easy when they are ready and interested about that stuff.

That's what parents need to do and teach bitcoin to children is not a problem and most importantly they can be responsible for their decisions. Therefore it is important to recognize the age for parents to teach bitcoin to their children and for me when they are able to be responsible bitcoin is a solution they can use to maintain their existence in reaching a better financial stage. Currently the internet base is also a medium that can make them aware of bitcoin and as parents only direct them to be involved in a real way to understand the right investment.

Without complete knowledge, investments cannot be carried out properly and appropriately, so this is where the role of parents lies in providing them with this understanding, this encouragement can direct them in the right direction in making the right decisions before getting involved in bitcoin. So pushing a little in the hope that they will have choices when they grow up is not a problem but not beyond their limits.

Kids learn about a lot of useless stuff in school but bitcoin is something with actual use they can learn about. So I think it's a good thing if they learn about it.
Some subjects taught in the school are really useless for their lives futurely, as they won't have any practical application later. And I would extend this to what children are taught by the media and internet. They put so much attention and time on useless matters disseminated by influencers and so called specialists, generating huge income for these people through clicks, views and purchases, that I think it shouldn't hurt to have some notion about Bitcoin since an early age, because that is something which will actually benefit them in some years.

Anyway, let children decide... Nothing done forced, through power usage have positive results. All parents can do is to advise and show the way. What children will do with the advices received, it's up to them.

yes, you are right, instead of teaching or introducing Bitcoin at the age of children, we should teach them at the right age, such as when they are a teenager or an adult. most parents who want to insist on teaching Bitcoin to their children may not realize that their children might get bored and not even interested in Bitcoin if forced.
actually it's not Bitcoin that should be focused on being taught at a young age. it's better to focus on the growth and development of children and always give them enough attention and affection. when they are teenagers or adults and understand financial concepts, than we can teach and introduce Bitcoin further.

What subjects do you think being taught in school is useless?  because as we know, knowledge is endless, the more knowledge we have, the more opportunities we have in life.  teaching bitcoin to children is not bad, but if we force them and teach them too early, will it have a positive effect on them?  bitcoin is great for investment, but don't forget that many people are still living happily and extremely rich without bitcoin.  i mean, there are many ways to make money, to have the life we want, not just bitcoin to help us do that.  teach them bitcoin but at the right age, and if they don't like it, don't force it.

I agree that it is not really bad to teach the child about Bitcoin, it can be done little by little. their mouths. What does that mean, we can just show the use of Bitcoin in our daily life without explaining anything to them as it is just typical like money that we use in our daily life.

It probably doesn't stress the kids out, does it? As long as we don't force them to understand it, because it is better that the interest to know this comes from them and not from us.

BIG WINNER!
