Also its quite comparable the last quest with 2500 points to the normal quest of Linea through on chain and off chain weekly task. 11m total participants vs 300k plus means the difference are too big for real users.

It seems farmers and bots are heavily joined. Hope to cut them down for the next remaining two weekly task for its completion.

That's over 11m of sybil accounts. I'm glad that they put the First Class Citizen campaign. It's not foolproof but I guess it's quite effective.
This week's campaign (Social and Entertainment Week) is frustrating. There are so many gas-consuming activities while the main faucet is still unavailable. I'm only half way through and already out of ETH for gas. Hopefully, they could fix the faucet and the Goerli<>Linea bridge soon.

This is interesting to see at least it's a good take to have the weekend completed with this, it's another opportunity coming on the way through which only those that are ready to participate will partake in such, i think it's worth giving a try, I've also been around to see something like this coming from the source i could trust their delivery ability, i believe it's something one can give a tasteful experience on each bite.

Yes, it will cut those sybil. As if some does really have a workign social media accounts and dozen of own accounts for this. I could say thats a trmendous effort for a testnet like this if ever. So this commemorative nft confirmed from linea should really have a lot of utility specially a monetize airdrop.

Thanks, but it's still unavailable for me. I've also seen similar complaints from other users on Discord, so it seems like a widespread issue. I might just let the rest of the points go since we already got that 2,500 points from the First Class Citizen campaign. In the grand scheme of things, it shouldn't make a significant difference.

Anyway, have you come across any rumors about the TGE date for Linea? Is it expected to take place this year?

I think that the equivalent wallet on ethereum network must have balance to be able to receive the 1eth on linea network.

The final week for the Linea testnet voyage is quite compensating (The week 9).
All you need to do is just to retweet a twitter post and then vote on snapshot on what you think is your favorite Linea platform use case.
To vote on the snapshot site; your only criteria is to hodl 0.1 Testnet Linea Ethereum tokens.

Since the first class citizen voyage has rooted out bots and spammers; every qualified participants can look forward to Linea main net launch and rewards (if there is any) to celebrate the end of the Voyage event

I think somebody should have a serious talk with linea team to ease up on the high trx fees already, they are making the test voyage exercise unbearable for most testers and if it was done on purpose, they have definately achieve their goal because the number of testers who could no complete their task on this voyage 8 are more than those who where able to successfully complete their task.

I couldn't complete the cashmere task because of the ridiculous gas fees, imagine to bridge Leth to Furji Avalanche network fees was 12 Leth, lol.
I was having fun in all previous voyage, 7 was a little hectic but 8 was icing on the cake. Stressful and annoying to say the least.

Regarding the linea testnest quest I would say it almost too late because voyage 9 is just 20, and voyage 8 is ending by 11:59pm est with ridiculous gas fees, rest of voyage already ended meaning you can no longer perform task except ony the number one citizen task of 2500 points if it is still open, and the place to find more information about the linea Voyage is in galxe platform, you can find more other quest and test to perform when you visit the platform.

Although beneficial for their project to have more interactions because of the gas fees, it seems fair for them to introduce the First Class Linea citizenship to reduce Sybil accounts. I just hope every Layer 1, 2, 3, etc., would do the same due to the Sybil issue.

There are many factors that your wallet could get labeled as Sybil because of having multi-accounts, not doing transactions in other chains, etc.

I started on the Week 5 of their campaign (stupid of me not aware of Linea's campaign in Galxe back then). I finished almost all points from Weeks 5 to 9 (missed one task on Week 7 which I am not eligible to mint that NFT due to not engaging in either the Bridge or NFT week.

I've spent almost 30 Linea ETH just to finish all 425 points of their Week 8 quests, which I find it the most difficult and time consuming of them all.

Much better to have one wallet alone but also very important for it not to be hacked by always double or triple check everything before proceeding.

I think the NFT by Linea for the Voyager Quest comes with hope. I usually welcome this especially for those who have completed the “First Class Citizen” quest on Galxe.

The NFTs and OATs being earned in Galxe are going to give us special privileges as a “gateway” and “passport” for future big rewards. And also those projects who are introducing their own soul-bound passports.

Like in Galxe they introduce a soul-bound Passport Holder NFT. Once you own that, every existing campaign in Galxe who requires you to have a passport are automatically qualified to receive points, NFTs, OATs, etc., for their own rewarding system.

If you look at Aptos and Blur respectively, for just minting an NFT those holders are enjoying big retroactive drop rewards back then.

What if we speculate that for Linea Voyager Quest NFT holders we will be eligible for the retroactive drop after mainnet launch? Or maybe even just an allocation for pre-IDO price like what SUI did last time? Anything’s possible!

Although am not sure how authentic the first class citizenship task would be in fighting sybil accounts, i think is the reason the team decides to increase the transaction fees to the point where many participants will not able perform the task successfully including Sybil accounts.

The network was so congested it was difficult to successfully complete a task within few minutes.  So account farmers will definitely find it very difficult to complete task on one wallet let alone several.

I start the linea Voyage 9 quest from the beginning and complete all 9 Voyage except Week 8 was a pain and was unable to claim all points. It was educative, stressful and also exciting.

This would be the nice speculation about incoming linea mainnet. Hop they consider doing an airdrop for those nft that will be release for the participants. I hate that they will what sui did after raising too much funds already. That can be considered as greedy peeps. OTC deal is something I do not want to do. But regardless, I ain't selling it because I see how valuable is this commemorative NFT in the future.

It's not gonna be treated as a collectible, but an ultimate passport (like the Galxe or Gitcoin passport) to qualify for future airdrops whether if it's the much-anticipated Linea coin (despite no confirmation) or any project building on Linea like the Horizon DEX. 

If I am aware of Linea very early, I could have participate in the 1st 4 weeks of Linea Voyage and could have gotten the Tier 1 Alpha. But sad to say I am too late so I started on the Week 5 quest but also minted the "First Class Citizen" NFT worth 2,500 points.

Yes I beleive there is an airdrop for this nft and you wouldnt get swayed by the offered made by lots of those who havent have the nft. Getting an nft like this isnt as easy so dont give away your ticket to more profits.

But the good thing is that Revoke Cash already supports Linea Mainnet. However, since there are no approval or signature needed to claim, so technically our wallets are safe if we did claimed those NBS tokens.

If you check their Discord now, some community members have shared screenshots of the dev's wallet which those "farm fees" were being transferred to multiple wallets. This could be the first scam project who took advantage of the Linea Voyage campaign.

Linea should have audited them first before getting accepted into the Linea Voyage. Now I wonder why they were removed from Linea's list in their ecosystem.

As for both Horizon Dex and EchoDex, I do provide liquidity in their pools, LP farming as well as swapping to gain points until their campaign is finished.

Those projects that are announcing airdrops and snapshots in advance are likely not gonna be worth it (but not all though and I can be wrong). Although it encourages the community to keep doing activities and farming, but not in an organic way. Big chances that we can receive much lesser than what we have expected.

Yes Im aware of that and that has been what the case for most top notch airdrops. I think those will surprise everyone as when they will launch their tokens and we just need to have activity or interactions before that happens.

The problem with announced airdrop is that the allocated rewards are easily saturated due to the amount of participants that would be involved due to the perceived rewards. If projects like those you mentioned actually announced their airdrop months before the actual snapshot, I'm sure no one will get any sizeable amount. Even with methods like farming, the rewards might not justify the efforts.

On the other hand, announcing an airdrop before the actual snapshot will just lead to a surge in user statistics of the project but it would fall as quickly as the stats went up.

Are you talking about the zksync major announcement via twitter? That they will do an airdrop and its a massive one actually like 66% of the total supply will goes tot he comminity? You think this is a bad move.

Are you sure that you have interacted with the correct and official zkSync Twitter account?

Because there are many fake ones out there announcing an airdrop on a FCFS basis. Or some Twitter influencers who are fake hyping their followers about this and that.

I have checked their Twitter now and I do not see them posting any airdrop-related announcement. Plus zkSync ERA hasn’t officially released their tokenomics yet it in their official website as I keep browsing some of their source links.

Also do not underestimate Venom too despite it is still testnet, they are also initially listed as untracked listing in CoinMarketCap.

I believe this is a misunderstanding. The Binance watchlist price (e.g., binance.com/en/price/layerzero) mirrors Coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/layerzero/). So it has nothing to do with Binance nor does it confirm Binance listing. Although I'm sure Binance and other major CEX will list those tokens when they launch.

They did announced but wasnt able to find the official live space/talk where the founder speaking about their tokenomics and plan of 66% community drop will look for the tweey by some OGs whose definitely got saved the live recording. I wasn't referring to zksync because they haven't explicitly started that they would airdrop tokens to users of either zksync lite or Zksync Era. I was referring to projects that make announcement of their airdrop prior to the actual snapshot.

Also its quite comparable the last quest with 2500 points to the normal quest of Linea through on chain and off chain weekly task. 11m total participants vs 300k plus means the difference are too big for real users.

A lot of "new" projects try to be better at something compared to other projects, and that makes me laugh because Bitcoin has probably the worst blockchain them all and still at the time, hell even ETH has worse than most others and still at the second place, and BNB was third for so long and will be third again I am sure and it's just a centralized money toy of CZ.

If you think that there is something that you can technically do that makes the project liked a lot more, then you haven't figured out what makes a project stand out. What makes a project stand out is the marketing, if you do marketing and PR very well then people will be on your side defending you against anyone else and put their money into that project as well.

I doubt that it will be beyond the control of the project when marketing of some community becomes viral as long as they benefited to it. All participants who have completed the quests are being given commemorative NFTs by Linea based on their leaderboard rankings.

Although there's no confirmed Linea token yet, but these NFTs being rewarded to us are going to be the "ultimate passport" for countless future airdrop rewards (especially projects under the Linea Build ecosystem).

There are even rumors about OTC buying and selling Linea Voyage commemorative NFTs for as much as $1k+ because they know how valuable is this in the long term.

The strategy of big projects like Linea is that they do not announce airdrop and snapshot date in advance in order for others to catch up "farming". Instead they would make a surprise once a token is confirmed. That happened back then with Arkham Intel, Arbitrum, Optimism, Blur, Aptos, etc.

The rumors that we have seen on Twitter and other socials regarding Linea airdrop are just speculation especially the fact that those who have participated in the Linea Voyage and minted their commemorative NFTs according to the rank in the leaderboard.

No guarantees or promises are being made here. But as Linea and Metamask (MASK token confirmed) are both owned by Consensys who have raised like $726+ million USD from VCs, the chances of getting a potential airdrop in the future are very high in my opinion.

We just do not know when would it exactly gonna happen. So if I were you, it's better not to expect too much from Linea or any other big project who haven't confirmed an airdrop yet. Much better to be surprised in the future.

Yes thats right. Expectation is really hurting so we should relax and calm ourselves even though there is no announcement made. A suprised airdrop is really exciting especially when you found out that you have made the cut and will received those tokens that could be worth a lot.
