The previous news was that Musk invited Zuckerberg to debate... in the end, does anyone understand what awaits us? I have suspicions that this will be a big deception (of our expectations) and we will see not a fight, but some kind of bullshit like a battle in the virtual world.
And in general, I don’t understand why Musk is promoting Zuckerberg, it’s obvious that his image is much cooler than that of the freak/thief Zuckerberg.

All these speculations I guess are to gain media attention and promote the businesses. A debate between these billionaires will be an ideal event to settle their scores because they are not athletes. Proposing a combat between two footballers or professional runners might be more reasonable than a fight between two soft business executives. This fight might just be an advertisement strategy.

Not sure what are their real plans because none of them are disclosing anything to the public but I think it is already safe to say that both of them have a bigger picture on their heads compared to what we know now. And this fight? It's surely not happening, not even close because these billionaires weren't fighters in the first place. This is just a front to cover their real intentions.

However, both of them are giants when it comes to technology and we can see the war between them in terms of technology creation, adoption and innovation  Let them be fighters in the technology field and this may help not only them but helpful for the whole mankind.

That is exactly why there is so much appeal to this match-up from the very beginning.

I had thought that this fight between Elon Musk and Mark of the meta has taken place. Why the so much hype and the long run and the delay in this fight? I did not even understand what Elon wants to gain from this fight and the publicity. I think the Elon's image in the media is higher than that of Mark. Although Elon Musk is someone that likes hypng and playing with the crowd as we saw in his time of cryptocurrency, bitcoin and dodge coin. So, I am not surprised about the whole thing and mentioning the city of Rome as the venue of their alleged celebrity fight.

Musk really loves hype (and apparently often does it selflessly just for the sake of the loolz) and in this case (whatever way they compete) he will receive another portion of fame and promotion. But if we consider the situation, taking into account the fact that the freak Zuckerberg will also receive no less share of attention, then this is a minus event for Musk (assuming that he and Zuckerberg are real competitors). So I still don't understand Musk's game and what he wants.

Usually the rich people are those in the seats watching others inside a cage to get pushed in the face, not the opposite.
It does not matter how much of a troll Elon is or how good Mark is in martial arts, the only way I see this fight happening is if they realize they could get money out of it in exchange of their personal pride (in the case of the one who would lose the fight).

We could argue that if money is the only driving factor for this fight actually talking place, then Mark would be more interested than Elon, because all the money he has lost lately with his failed Metaverse and VR headset.

I've been thinking about a possibility that the two are going to announce a project they want to do together. I am still not able to dig through the confusions and find a good reason why they should do that. I can think of all sorts of two people who agree on a cage fight or a fight in any other setup, but the reason would be so much more obvious for other people. They have been contenders in the business area and it all makes sense when it is X against Meta or other rumors that Meta wants to develop something that Musk is also working on. But this one leaves me behind hopelessly confused.

This will be the humor of the century, where Elon and Mark are businessmen who each own a large company. If this fight happens (but it doesn't ), whoever wins will give Elon and Mark some popularity. And maybe other celebrities will follow their way to increase their popularity

Maybe Elon will be kicked by young Mark, but Elon certainly won't just give up because Elon has a special strategy to avoid Mark's attacks. These two are better off sitting at the table together and just playing PS.
