This is not a good way of making investement because you are totally unaware of the basics of crypto coins so it will be hard for you to successfully invest and get the benefit as knowledge is very necessary to be a profitable investor. Second thing is that you don't want to learn so there is another way to choose someone other who will make investment for you and will give you profit. So for this purpose everyone will wants you to contact with you but remember that the world is full of cruel and scammers and the mentioned amount is very larger, the scammers will easily steel your money and you will have nothing to do.

I will suggest you to not put such a big amount in crypto if you don't have any knowledge about it and don't know how to get the benefit from it. 60 years of age is not as more as you cannot learn about it therefore try to understand the market and then put little amount of money into bitcoin for 5 or 6 years then you will surely see your success after the mentioned period of time.

Sorry to put it out but this isn’t the right way to go about investment. You can ask people to just send DM and you trust the suggestion of a total stranger which may turn out to be a scammer. I am sure that anyone that would be sending you PM would mostly be someone that would want to promote there shitcoins.

If seriously you’re actually in for investing and then you would need to go through everything yourself and the only cryptocurrency that fits your criteria for retirement investment is bitcoin. But even that needs some knowledge on Its security and the rest. If you are truly interested in investing in them which I doubt from your post then read through the pin charts on the forum or other articles. If you need help ask it by creating a thread and stop asking for people to PM you to avoid something that I am sure would lead to you been scammed

You have a point mate, asking people to pm him for investment advice is totally a bad idea, a friend of mine ones lost a huge money looking for advice on what to invest, he was introduced to invest on a coin but little did he know it was a shitcoin because he had no knowledge about coins, that was how his $2k turns out to be remaining $30. So just like Zaguru said, is actually not advice to ask everyone for investment advice because scammers will surely look for a means to lure you into shitcoin.

Bitcoin is good to invest but aside from that he should do more research to be more knowledgeable and also the investment risk, because most novice always See's investment in one direction, which is ''profit" without knowing the risk involve, so I believe he should be more oriented before investing.

Hello I am looking to invest my 20,000 dollars for retirement but I don't know the best crypto for me to put into to save myself from inflation. I'm 64 years old and don't have the time to learn the ins and outs of this crypto stuff so if anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it.
You can contact me through the forum or via email I appreciate the help

20,000$ is a good amount of money to invest ion bitcoin; but the truth is that investment or more directly bitcoin investment should not be handled this way. As a 64 year old, you should not be depositing your entire savings and funds into bitcoin. WHy? because you will be forced to spend from it and that renders it vulnerable.

My advice for you? i think you should check out your capital again and define "spare money", you can use that to invest long term into bitcoin; because bitcoin is bullish long term

If you are serious to invest your money in crypto, you must take time to learn it carefully. It is not difficult to know which coins are better to invest, it is very clear that Bitcoin is the most recommended one. Bitcoin is the number 1 crypto coin and it is like the mother of crypo coins. You won't find out the strongest coin like Bitcoin. However, you must understand that investing in crypto isn't a safe investment, it is a risky investment. If you want to have a safe investment, you can choose land or Gold. But crypto offers the opportunity to earn profits more significantly than other things.

You don't have time to study which coin is the finest to invest in. I would advise you to solely invest in Bitcoin because it offers the least risk of any of them. Second, if you are going to invest in altcoins, I strongly advise you to only invest in the top ten cryptocurrencies according to Coinmarketcap. Because the rating is only based on market capitalization, the larger the market cap, the more authentic the currency and the lower the volatility. But first, you must understand how to use an exchange because there is a chance of losing funds in the exchange if you do not know how to use it.

The problem with investing in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency is the problem of security. When you consider that people even have their bank cards hacked because they click on any link, frankly you have to wonder how the average person is going to secure its wallet.

It reminds me of people in France who invested in rental properties to get a tax break, without even looking at what the rents were in the area. Of course, the salesman overestimated the rents, and so much for tax optimization.

Any investment requires a bit of research, and now with the Internet it's really easy to find the right information.

Wow dude that's a lot if you wanna invest as newbie for $20.000,  just invest with small amount example $1000. Don't be greedy at the bear market, read caefully the situation of the news about cryptocurrency, never trust with whales signal or anything without you research first. If you considered for entry market, always learning without cares with your age, age just number I'm believe you have opportunity if you wanna talking about crypto with experts, transfer knowledge each other will make you smart, don't bored for learning anything

If you are actually looking to invest the money for your retirement into something you will obviously need to understand the ins and outs of it because investing $20,000 isn't a joke and you can't get success for your investment if you go only with suggestions with no knowledge and experience at all. So you should either learn how cryptocurrencies and trading work or you should find another stream to invest your money in.

Real estate is a pretty good investment option as well if you don't feel comfortable with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and find it difficult to understand them. You should invest your money in real estate so that you can feel more safe and don't have any hesitations and it is also not difficult to understand.

This is an obvious character of a scammer. Scammers are easy to call an amount of money. A serious investor shouldn't be mentioning an amount of money to entice an adviser.

You are not 64. A 64 yrs old person should have the time to study. Atleast to know a bit of what they will invest into. That is how anyone above 50 behaves
This is not how you should conclude. What if you are saying those words to a real man who is already 64 and decided to invest in crypto, but he is not that much serious yet? Maybe he wanted to give an ETA on how much he wants to invest. Maybe this is not the only option he thinks about. Maybe he is trying to learn from forum members before deciding to invest in crypto.

Do you have any proof that he is a scammer? It would be best if you didn't name-calling someone without any proper evidence. If you guys continue doing this shit, you will find this forum being isolated, and there will be no genuine newbies except Sig spammers. He already got a good suggestion from the first reply of this thread. There is no reason you can talk like this.

True, blind forays into the volatile crypto cosmos can be risky. We're amidst fraudsters, but let's not label all investment whizzes as tricksters. A professional money-manager, once you've done your Sherlock work, can be your trump card. Cross-verify any tip-off before staking your money. Age, a learning barrier? Never! But, is Bitcoin mastery all we're aiming for? Time to broaden the horizons to total financial fluency.

On this post thread, you've received a variety of advice and tips on what you should and shouldn't do in terms of investing in crypto.
Now it's up to you to use the information you've absorbed to your advantage. Fine if it involves investing all of your money in bitcoin. It's okay if you prefer something else. However, keep in mind that you take on the investment risk on your own. Don't let it be the case that you will be blaming someone for your misfortune tomorrow.

Most of people who is into cryptocurrency especially bitcoin forum acquire the knowledge of Bitcoin in this noble institution that impact the knowledge of bitcoins from one person to another, so therefore i believe that learning bitcoin can be achieve through bitcointalk forum if the person is inquisitive to learn the concept of bitcoins actually.

If he already knows the forum, there's no reason why he shouldn't take the time to learn everything about bitcoin rather than invest with someone's advice. Age is also not a problem when investing in bitcoin, bitcoin is not easy to understand but also not too difficult to understand if we really want to learn about it.

But I find it strange that at 64 years old, he should have more time than anyone else, why does he say that he is too busy and doesn't have time to learn about bitcoin when he wants to invest a large amount of money? There are many inadequacies and contradictions with what the OP is saying.

As a newcomer, $20k is an excessive amount of money to invest; I recommend dividing it among several market sectors. Newcomers should never stop studying because it never stops; every day, we learn new things and strengthen our brains in order to advance in the market. As a newbie, you must be completely independent because if you seek signals from whales elsewhere, you will be doing yourself no good because these signals profits do not last. When compared to whale trades, your account size is entirely different, whales trigger high leverage while newbies target small leverage, which is insufficient to fuel a trade.

You should not post like this because if you listen to someone how to invest with all your assets in life, you might go bankrupt one time, so instead of investing in someone's words, it is better for you to invest in Crypto with your own words.

If you buy gold or land, then you can be without profit for a long time, these investments are more aimed at preserving the invested money and not increasing it. Or, for this, it will be necessary to wait a very long time for the investment to bring a good profit. It makes more sense to buy a property and rent it out, so you save your money and earn monthly income from your property. Bitcoin now seems to be a promising direction, but of all the above, it is less reliable, this must be taken into account.

This is an open gateway for scammers and I just want to say congratulations  for giving scammers an open access to flood your pm and email inbox.
This isn't  the right way to put this out  and considering  your age and the fact that you're already impatient to atleast get to know the basics of what you intend to save when after retirement which isn't right and from the ooo of things it seems you're looking for an investment platform where you just dump your hard earned money and expect a no risk return and cases like this always end up as fraud and I'm sure you don't want to fall victim of such.

I will advice that rather than wanting to be in a haste to invest, atleast spend a month to acquire the necessary knowledge  of buying low and slong high at a contentment level.
I don't know if the email on your profile is your personal email or not but if its not, then I think you need to abandon that email as there might be alot of juicy  and very irresistible offers that might be presented to you by scammers and if you're not careful,  you might loss your 20k.

All kinds of suggestions given by my friends related to the suggestions desired by the OP are intended so that the OP can draw the best conclusions to do. All suggestions given are not coercive.
Try to read one by one the suggestions we provide.

If you think you can't invest according to people's words, what should be the good thing to do while the person asking has no knowledge about investing.
If the position of the party asking is you, can you make an investment without the slightest knowledge?

As far as I'm concerned you should listen to the advice of others but also do your own research and information on the crypto currency market. Complete information is very important before investing in any platform, and one should never make hasty decisions while investing. Different people have different opinions, so what you think is best may not be important to someone else.

However, Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best choices for long-term investments. By the way, the crypto currency market is considered very risky, but Bitcoin is considered the most secure of all crypto currencies. Apart from Bitcoin, there are various low-value crypto currencies in the market. Which have the potential to give a good profit in future, but the condition is that your choice is right. If you are still having trouble finding good projects, you can choose different coins from the top 100coins of the crypto currency market.

As a lot of members have already shared their opinions you should not trust anyone with your money in the crypto industry. Because the crypto sphere has too many loopholes that a scammer and hacker will use to loot your money and you will be left with nothing at the age of retirement and this will be so terrifying.

So, my suggestion is the same, if you haven't any time to learn the basics of crypto and you just want to go abruptly into crypto for investing then you should drop the idea and should invest in another entity about which you have atleast a basic idea.

So that, you would not be scammed by anyone. Or maybe you are just wasting time of all of us by making false statements about yourself as i can see you are not that much active here too.
