For me the signs where already there that Frank sack was imminent due to how he has not being capable of meeting expectations of the board. This season Tottenham has won 7 games, with 8 draws and 11 losses in a total of 26 games played. That's really a bad record. Yet they seem to have a good record in the UCL but doing poorly in the EPL. Was it that Frank priority was in the UCL with little importance to EPL competition?

The loss to Newcastle was the straw that broke the camel's back. The fans have also become impatient as they were booing Thomas Frank during the game. Sitting sixteenth in the EPL table and five points above the relegation zone cannot be tolerated by a big club like Tottenham. He was given enough time to change the club but he failed to perform.  The focus of the club now should not be on how to avoid relegation because they are a deep shit.

I do not believe that Frank has made a premeditated deal with the league form and UCL, but the structure of the league has hugely fallen short of the expectations of Tottenham. The fact that he won only 7 of 26 matches and was in the 16 th position is not good enough given the ambitions that this club holds. The good performance in the champions league can not excuse the domestic problems, particularly where a club is at the risk of going down. The defeat against Newcastle was only a confirmation of the already felt emotions of many fans. The primary concern must now be how to stabilize results as soon as possible and regain lost confidence so as not to continue to decline the down the table.

Who would have thought that the Chelsea vs Leeds match would end in draw after Chelsea had already taken 2-0 lead?

I actually didn’t expect that comeback from Leeds United in the second half, because Chelsea had what it takes to win that game but that wasn’t the case they instead conceded two goals allowing Leeds to equalize and Palmer missedl a very important chance in the stoppage time which could have given Chelsea the win last night at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea missed a couple of chances which could have lead them to grabbing those three points, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing in the second half..Leeds United equalizing in just six minutes!

Almost everyone believed that Chelsea would win that game because they had a lot of advantages, being on the home side and also being in a better form than leeds, these were factors considered by a lot of football fans but unfortunately they still ended up losing. This is very disappointing. It was so coincidental that their game against leeds ended as a draw and so did Manchester United as well.

Chelsea's performance in the second half was dismal, with numerous chances wasted. Leeds United capitalized on Chelsea's weaknesses to stage a comeback, and they nearly won if they had more time and capitalized on their chances effectively. Since the change in manager, Chelsea's performance has been inconsistent and they are now outside the top four.

After Chelsea were two goals up, they showed some relaxation in the game and Leeds players took the opportunity to equalize. There is no doubt that Chelsea played well throughout the match but they could not maintain their performance at the end of the match. Chelsea had the potential to be fourth in the table but the team could only add one point in the drawn match. Leeds players celebrated after the draw and they looked happy with the result of the match but Chelsea were disappointed that they did not win despite such a good performance.

This statement made me realize and affirm that most of the times it's a coach that makes a player looks good, I remember not so long ago when Man United supporters where saying that apart from Bruno and some selected few, the whole team was trash, now they are looking good ? Especially Dorgu, they were saying he wasn't worth the Man United jersey but now they are weeping his absence. Carrick is really doing wonders.

I think a good coach will always make a difference. In part, the coach knows how to take advantage of all the good things his players have, their potential, and the results are very good And the other players cover their weaknesses or vulnerabilities that's where a good strategy comes from, But you can't make a striker do the job of a defender , because the performance isn't the same.

he was the worst manager of Tottenham. The board sacked Conte and Mourinho because they couldn't stay in the top 4. but they kept this guy until the team almost relegated. He really put Tottenham in a relegation battle. yes, the squad is not good and there are many injuries. but still this squad is not this bad. they didn't win any matches since December...

Do not think that Jose Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham because of his inability to be in the top four. Mourinho was already doing well for Tottenham and also qualified them for an European final which he was actually going to win if they gave him time to play the finals but unfortunately and surprisingly to all he was sacked before the final and Tottenham lost it.
Mourinho's sack was more of political and was related to European nations league saga then.

I was surprised yesterday after Manchester United's match, I checked the table and saw Tottenham almost at the relegation zone. I didn't know it was that bad. Infact Westham would have been ahead of them if not for this interventional sack.

I really do not like it when premier league is so packed that they have to play twice a week because of how many other games there are. Between UEFA competitions, the FA cup ones, the EFL cup ones, and obviously the league, teams are playing north of 60 games at times, and most of these players also go to their national team and between friendlies and normal cup games they end up playing maybe as much as 10 games there too. That's not normal expectations from players and definitely horrible.

I have complained about this and seen that nothing is going to change, so I have stopped complaining. The players play so many games these days, especially the big teams that compete for every trophy. They have the league, UCL, and two League Cups to play for. Then there is the constant Nations League they need to play when they go on international break.
Too many matches like this make players get injured or out of form.
On the other hand, I think that is what it takes to be a big team and big plaer, You have to play more matches and more competitions than others. Teams that don't play European competition and get knocked out early in the cup matches get to play lesser matches. I dont think any big team would want that.

MU team is surprising everyone with its performance, the team has come from a bad position in the point table to a very good position. Currently MU is so excited in every game that they are beating strong teams and they are at the top of the point table. In the next match, they will face West Ham. If they can win this match and collect full points, then they will occupy the third position in the point table. However, if MU team can compete strongly by the end of the season and can bring good results to them in every match, then they will definitely have the possibility to compete against Man City and Arsenal.

Their rivals have dropped points in consecutive weeks, while Manchester United continues to win. United has won four games in a row, and so did Chelsea. So it's clear that Chelsea has not dropped any points and still following United very closely and United is not any good than Chelsea at the moment, one draw and United would be back on fifth place like they have achieved nothing at all.

While it is of course wonderful news that United has won four in a row after years of being mediocre and even terrible, lets not get ahead of ourselves and think that they are suddenly better than most, they are still barely UEFA competitions level team.

Ohh god, come on Manchester United, aside of the guy who needs the haircut Macnhester United really need this win to make another solid step into the fight for european spots, or better to say into Champions League spots which is the main aim of the season for Manchester United, this can let them be more agresive in the next transfermarket. Moreover, in week 27 they will face Arsenal, so the situation is even more difficult if they lose again, meaning that throughout the last few matches they have never won, so close to the relegation zone will be increasingly real for Tottenham.

If the Spurs do not improve as soon as possible they can appear bad, whether from the manageman will fire Thomas Frank or not, but with the current situation Thomas Frank cannot bring his team to win, this can be said to be a failure.

So that's enough reason why they have to make their defence a center of attention this upcoming summer transfer window, because they are seriously in lack of quality and experience at the back.

Tottenham management just decided to sack  coach Thomas Frank that was appointed in June 2025 to take over coach Ange Postecoglou because of lossing so much in the premier League and which i understand very well that Tottenham was not really performing very well in the premier League tournament and which Tottenham management fail to understand that coach Thomas Frank was doing well in the champions League too and if should comparing with the way Liverpool has been losing seriously in the premier League and also has been doing well in the champions League, lossing several matches is the major reason of the sack shall and i understand their pains and pray for Tottenham to have a better coach this time around.

Manchester United was very disappointing tonight, I bet on them with high optimism but what was the result of that match? yes of course the result was a draw, even though the current opponent was not as strong as Arsenal and Manchester City but they were not able to beat West Ham, the match was monotonous, is it possible that Carrick's strategy has been discovered? and if that's true I think in the future they will have the same problem as what happened to Amorim before, it could happen, it seems I have to squint again whether to bet again or not if Manchester United plays again, I have another thought maybe they are tired this week.

Classic United... they do the hard part but then totally screw up the easy games. They had the momentum and should’ve easily scored against one of the worst defenses in the league. But they played like absolute trash. in the first half, they weren't even trying to score and the second half was just as pathetic.

I don’t really agree with calling the West Ham vs MU match an easy game. It’s nothing new in the EPL for top teams to struggle against relegation-zone sides.

West Ham played very well with their low block. In the final third, MU struggled because of how compact West Ham were. Mbeumo played more on the left, which meant there wasn’t really a proper target man in the middle. West Ham’s LB and RB also deserve credit for shutting down both of MU’s flanks. MU seem to struggle against teams like West Ham that sit back and wait, rather than teams that play aggressively.

Off the pitch, there was pressure too. After winning against big teams, facing a relegation-side comes with expectation. Add the viral "The United Strand" noise, and it probably felt like they were being chased to get a win. That likely created additional significant psychological pressure during yesterday’s match.

See this is where everyone's losing the plot a bit - no offence. United were in 15th place under Amorim two months ago and now they're sitting 4th. The fact we're even up in arms about drawing at West Ham shows how far they've come. Perspective, people.

But will tell you what I'm really worried about and it's not Tuesday night. It's this summer. Reports are saying that they need two or three new midfielders. Casemiro's leaving, Ugarte might get sold because he hasn't adapted and the targets being thrown around? Baleba from Brighton is worth more than $100m. They spent 200m pounds on attackers last summer. Now another £150-200m on midfield? While Carrick may not even be here in July because the board's apparently still chasing Glasner?

Neither are West Ham pushovers. Their defense is actually not bad - ranked 5th in the league for defensive stability or something. Bowen's taking their attack basically alone. Soucek's goal was actually his 39th for them, he became the highest-scoring Czech in Premier League history. These aren't mugs.

And Summerville came very close to scoring in the 13th minute on a curler that forced a full-stretch save. Before this he'd scored five in five games. West Ham came to play.

Still - I'll take 4th position and nine undefeated in the chaos they had before. They're not fixed but they're stable. And if they have Sesko start getting actual minutes, instead of being the eternal super-sub, they may break this low-block problem. Sometimes you have to have the chaos to destroy organized defenses. Chelsea's defence last night was purely full of shit, and those guys clamouring for the manager to always make use of Acheampong, I hope they all can see why he deserves to be more on the bench than starting a game for Chelsea, because he is not mature enough to do so. A ball he would have cleared away from danger, he decided to gamble with it by guiding someone that is much more stronger than him, which led to the equalizer.
As for Cole Palmer miss in the dying minutes of the game, truly shit do happens, even him as a person was baffled that he missed such a chance that would have put the game to bed, but regardless of anything, congratulations to leeds United for putting up a very good fight, which was rewarded at the end.

You know when it comes to Chelsea defensive line, believe me you won't know how to describe them because they're just average players. There's no defensive leader in the team, nobody to control the defense line. That's why Chelsea needs to strengthen their defense by bringing in a mature good defender. As a big team you don't need just teenage playersz you need to have an experienced leader among their mix to control the game and the players minds, even in times of set pieces.

Manchester United was lucky to get that dying minute equalizer to stoppage time. However, West Ham was playing the same pattern of football with Manchester United making it very difficult for Manchester United to penetrate their defense because most of their counter attacks weren't going through. A draw is better than defeat.

I thought Manchester United would win easily but the game was really tougher than I thought. They were lucky the match ended in a draw because it's much better than losing three points. West Ham played a very good game, they played almost the same pattern as Manchester United, and that's why the game wasn't easy for United.

You are absolutely correct and I also said that Micheal will be a nice manager but I know sometimes it is like and the way they played in their last four games was really impressive and no one expected that from them but yesterday just happened and we can even tell from the beginning of the game where Manchester united was so relaxed, no pressure and I also observed possessing game doesn't always favor Manchester united at the end and the game yesterday was so dull if you watched it because Westham knew if they rush Manchester they will score them but it wasn't really a bad result though.

Manchester United, who have had a few great matches under Carrick, surprisingly earned a point. I thought they would lose the match because they played far below their usual standards, or rather, their usual performances in recent games. The opponents deserved the win, but unfortunately they couldn't prevent Benjamin Sesko's goal and had to settle for a draw. Manchester United needs to find consistency now because they are a team in the Champions League race.

Chelsea drew 2-2 at home with Leeds United. It was an important point for Leeds, a good result as they try to move away from the relegation zone.

West Ham are currently leading 1-0 at home against Manchester United. There are more than 20 minutes left in the match. Manchester United had been in good form, but if they lose this game, it will be a disappointing defeat for them.

Chelsea screwed away an opportunity to go up the top 4 spot and settling for a draw with a relegation struggling team. A 2 goals comeback in a row from Leeds united was nothing in my wide imagination I anticipated, the 2-2 draw was completely to their benefit.

Manchester united got away from a defeat in the last minute with West Ham  in the 90+6 minutes. Sesko was just at the right place, got the ball with a beautiful tap into  the net. West Ham were very set for the game and wasn't for the improved performance of Manchester united it would have been a defeat for the Red devil.

Premier League match night 

We got five premier league games tonight, Liverpool Vs Sunderland, Manchester City Vs Fulham, Nottingham forest Vs Wolves, Crystal Palace Vs Burnley and Aston Villa Vs Brighton.

Since the Liverpool Vs Sunderland match haven’t started, currently watching the Manchester City Vs Fulham alongside the Bayern Munich game, Semenyo nets a goal already just 24 minutes into the game giving Manchester City the lead at the Etihad stadium and the performance of Manchester City is really good so far, they’ve got six shots and they also had a good chance to score but Fulham goalkeeper saved it.

If that's the case, it's quite plausible. It's similar to what happened with Real Madrid, first after Xabi Alonso arrived, and now with Arbeloa starting to fade. To say Carrick is one of the best coaches in the world is simply ridiculous. He's only been here a few weeks and hasn't achieved the same level of success as Guardiola, who deserves such praise. This is an overestimation.

We need to see how Manchester United will fare going forward, whether, as I suspect, they will decline again or whether they can maintain their position, at least achieving a top-four finish this season.
