Manchester City, doesn't seem like they will drop points at this time they need it the most, arsenal had 2 jobs today and they only did 1, they got three points good, but they failed to accumulate goals to secure the future, i wouldn't completely blame them because burnley's defence was very strong today, and if not for that set piece I'm not sure arsenal would have won the match, but the big question now is that, is this how they want to play Crystal Palace?
If this is how they choose to get the Job done against Crystal palace, then that's their choice. What matters most is the result. Infact, we're yet to see the results of Manchester City's game, because that alone will determine if we're still going to talk about the Palace game or not. A lot of things are currently at stake here, but Manchester City are in a more tighter position. Morever, it was a brilliant set piece goal. Probably one of the very best they've scored this season, especially against a side that was willing to play a low block game to get at most a draw.
Talking about goals, Manchester City played a 1-0 the last time, Chelsea played a 1-1 at Stanford bridge, Spurs played a 2-2 draw, Liverpool played a 1-1 draw at Anfied, Manchester United played a 2-2 draw, so I clearly don't see why Arsenal's lack of goal in the game should be a big deal here. A lot of us seem to forget how tough the premier league can be, especially when it comes to Arsenal. Even bigger teams had similar experiences with this same Burnley. And again, yesterday was just another day in the office where Arsenal made sure their opponent doesn't get a single shot on target... We don't talk about how good a team needs to be in order to do that in a football game.
Arsenal will watch the match of Manchester City as they will win the title if Manchester City lose this match against Bournemouth. I guess Manchester City will not lose to Bournemouth but a draw is possible even chance for it is small.
A game between a side that is trying to cement its place in European competition, and a side contending for the title... It's definitely going to be a massive one. But just so you know, Arsenal fans aren't even interested in a Bournemouth win.... A draw is enough to make them champions tonight, though a win would also be welcome.
