A week ago, Aston Villa won the Europa League.
If Arsenal is successful against PSG in the Champions League final on Saturday, English clubs will get all the European cups for themselves. I'm not sure if this has ever happened before.

The truth is that the English Premier league is the best and the strongest league in the whole world, and I don’t think anyone can argue that, one of the reasons why the English Premier league is now better and more stronger and also seen as the best in the whole world is because they also spend the more, la liga is not spending money the way the English premier league is doing, in the English Premier league teams are giving the privilege to spend good amount of money in order to make their team very strong but in La Liga it is not that way. Only a few teams have that opportunity and this is one of their problem.
There is just more money in the English premier league more than the La Liga that is second to English premier league, check the amount Arsenal got for win the league title to what Barcelona got.
There are other leagues spending money but they are new and just trying to gain popularity and young players usually don’t go to those leagues except the older players who are about to retire.

Honestly pep Guardiola need a break, ever since he started his managerial job he has not for once have a break, honestly a really need this break because he has gone through a lot especially at Manchester City, I think he faced more challenges in Manchester City than any other club he went to, to the extent that is family was scattered all because of frustration of Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is a legend in Manchester City and he will continue to be one because he has done what no one have ever done for Manchester City, he took them from the scratch when no one knows their existence. The level of Manchester City is well known now all because of Pep Guardiola presence in the club.

Yes, it cannot be denied that when I think of City, the first person who comes to mind is Pep. However, the things that are done from now on are and must continue exactly as Pep left them. Pep was in charge of demonstrating a strong, consistent style of football that can always be improved. Signings are needed, but it's not something that can be determined now. I think City will wait until after the World Cup to buy players.

You really didn't have to sound that way, yes crystal palace may have won the game but it still doesn't mean that the EPL clubs are better than the Spanish teams, it's just a matter of who is better momentarily and thats why we experience different dynamics in terms of who dominated European football every season, a couple of years ago it was the Spanish teams, and then the English sides, and now we see that the French sides have entered the picture, tomorrow it might be the Germans, it's ever changing and not static and I don't see any reasons for this comparison.

The leagues you made of is not really the big deal here. Also premier league team may be dominating this league this season but it doesn't mean they are the strongest. Now let's move on to champions league, last season it was PSG and season before last it was real Madrid. Currently PSG will be playing against arsenal and the chances of them winning the league is very high. So let's rate this leagues strength by how consistent a club from particular league dominated the champions League.

The PL is really is the most quality league in the world right now. It's been like this for years also. 2 English champions in 2 UEFA competitions already so far. Now there is the CL final ahead.

La Liga still holds the record for the most European trophies but don't you think the English clubs are coming for it all? Currently, EPL sides are dominating and checking the books, EPL club, Crystal Palace won the Conference league, Aston Villa won the Europa and Arsenal are in the UEFEA Champions League final this season, did you see any Spanish side crowned European champion this season?

I'm not disputing the fact that La Liga teams are not competitive, they're fierce in elite tournaments but they're not just having it, they've been really unstable this season following the big side been unable to perform and getting knocked out from this tournament easily. Probably they have to do 10x better next season.

The fact remains that when it comes to European competition, the Spanish teams are very good and kind of dominate the competition, counting based on numbers of trophies, but when it comes to competitiveness and being the most interesting league in the world, the Premier League is the best and no. 1, but the English are begging to step up their game a bit because if you check last season, 2024/2025, Tottenham Hotspur won the Europa Cup and Chelsea won the Conference League. Now this season, Villa won the Europa Cup, and Palace won the Conference Cup.

I actually predicted Chelsea a direct winning for that match but they couldn't deliver and it was really embarrassing, not just to me but for as many that actually believed in them, this is to tell that Xabi Alonso really have a very big work to do, like he will sanitize the team both in and out, he really needs to sell and buy because most of these players on a normal day are not supposed to be in this Chelsea team no matter what, but it's quite unfortunate they were signing any thing that can kick a ball, of which that's not the way things work in that team.

Next season is really going to be a difficult one for Xabi Alonso, because he will have to rebuild Chelsea, he needs to flush out some players in the team, some players are not suppose to be playing for a team like Chelsea, and he will have to sign some players to improve the teams performance. Tottenham hotspur is terrible this season, so Chelsea wining Tottenham hotspur is not enough reason for Chelsea to win Sunderland, i did not expect Chelsea to win Sunderland because Sunderland are better than Chelsea this season and they were at home against Chelsea, so even as Sunderland won Chelsea 2:1 i was not disappointed. Xabi Alonso needs to do as you said if he wants to improve Chelsea next season.

You are right and I always say this that premier league teams are somehow better than any other league though Spanish La Liga, bundesliga and some Italian teams tends to be strong. Although I can't loudly say Arsenal can't represent England well in the Champions League final the same way other teams represented there league strongly in previous years but all i can say now is, the task ahead of Arsenal is not an easy one for now.

The money spent on organizing the league is determined by the quality of club that are feature in the season and how their generate trafficks to the league itself because revenue is driven from such clubs activities and level of ranks, premier League is next to champions League so the amount of money their spending o organize those leagues ca b compared to other smaller leagues and you can see the difference in clubs qualifications for both EPL and UEFA.
