In my opinion, Xabi Alonso has a good chance of improving Chelsea’s performance and leading the team to a better position, namely, qualifying for European competition.

I have the believe that Chelsea performance will improve under the management of Alonso. I don’t know the position which Chelsea will end next season, and I don’t know if Alonso will be able to make Chelsea qualify for the champions league next season, but I know if Alonso is given time, he will be able to rebuild Chelsea, and will win trophies for Chelsea, but Chelsea fans will just have to be calm, they shouldn’t be in a rush for instant result from Alonso. He shouldn’t be given the opportunity to sign players which he wants.

I know Xabi Alonso may likely require time to bring the best out of his team but still I expect him to get us a domestic league title next season while I understand that the EPL will be very difficult and competitive yet we might to loft a trophy since we are having fewer games and our key players will be having better rest than other big teams.

Inconsistency shouldn't be a major concern for us if Xabi Alonso is fully back by the management in acquiring players and general.

Xabi Alonso will adapt to the league without waiting for a long time I think. He is already familiar with this league by the way. I don't agree with the people who think he isn't.

He played at Liverpool for 5 years in his footballer career. How can you think like that in the first place?    I hoped to see him managing Liverpool but it didn't happen. Maybe one day...

I don't know very much about Xabi Alonso, but ever since I read the news of him getting appointed as the new Chelsea manager, I've been saying and reading comments from social platforms like x from people congratulating him and also praising management of Chelsea for making a wise decision in appointing him as the new coach for the club, this gives me the impression that this man must indeed be a well experienced person in the Premier league.

I am happy for Chelsea and do hope that them appointing Xabi Alonso as the new manager of the club will mark the end to the struggles Chelsea faced last season.
I see that almost every football clubs are making noticeable preparation for the coming season, Manchester City have appointed a new coach to replace pep, Manchester United, Arsenal and other clubs are all getting set to make the coming season a very competitive one, looking forward to the seasons reopening..

Given that Chelsea doesn’t have a packed schedule since they aren’t playing in European competitions this season. This makes it a little easier for Xabi to devise tactics and improve the team’s rhythm. And, of course, for that goal to be achieved, Xabi needs a strong squad, and management must fully support him.

Xabi seems to already have some plans for his strategy and squad for Chelsea next season. The latest news about Chelsea is that they are reportedly successfully securing Marco Palestra after a competition with Inter. He's a young player who is also expected to bring a new dimension to the tactics Xabi has designed. We know the Premier League competition might not be easy, but if this team manages to perform well, they could reach a better position.

Marco Palestri is Chelsea's latest signing but from the reports were getting, that's not the latest transfer news about the London club. There's a fresh speculation that they're heavily linked with Crystal Palace and France defender Maxence Lacroix. Just like you rightly said, Xabi Alonso is doing his best to improve Chelsea ahead of next season and I think he's seen the club's defence as an area that must be improved.
 
Since Enzo Fernandez will most likely be leaving this summer to Real Madrid, I expect Chelsea to also sign his replacement. Xabi Alonso I think has all it takes to improve Chelsea but how long it'll take to achieve that is what I don't know.

Alonso might have what it takes to rebuild the Chelsea's falling team, but another question is; would Chelsea management team be patient with the process? Because good results don't come or happen overnight sometimes it might take a season or two to actually the team right back to track, taking Guardiola and Manchester city for instance, Guardiola didn't just come in and changed City overnight, it was during his second year that they started to see results and that's what I expect with Alonso too, except if that things starts to work out fine earlier for him.

This time, Chelsea management will be patient with Alonso, not to be in a hurry to sack him even when he hasn't fixed Chelsea to win trophies. I know that Chelsea management have learn their lesson in these past years, never to be in a hurry to sack a coach for another coach, when the previous coach is in the process of building the team.

If we notice, changing coaches in months interval is what has destroyed the progress of Chelsea to be where it is today. I think, it won't continue happening again. Alonso will stay up to the 3 years given to him.

Rebuilding Chelsea might not really be easy because they fell to an extremely low point last season, coupled with the fact that it is hard for them to remain consistent. Alonso is a good Coach and I'm sure he would be able to build something tangible but it is not going to be an easy challenge for him. I don't even expect Chelsea to improve in the beginning of the season.

That’s a big ask. Where did Chelsea finish on the league table last season? You expect the new manager to perform miracles and win the premier league with the same players. Xabi Alonso needs time to work and perfect his strategy at Chelsea. A trophy should not be not be your immediate concern for the time being rather how he can build a dynasty at Chelsea.

I feel like we are gonna have to wait a lot of time to have a proper conclusion about the next season preparation, i mean Xabi Alonso for me is gonna make a super good job but i still want to see after the world cup what happens with some arrivals and departures of players, for example is gonna Enzo Fernandez still in Chelsea? I dont think so. And that is gonna be very important.

Chelsea should consider this a long term deal that will take years to get better. They now have a very good manager, there is no doubt that Xabi Alonso is the level of manager that they could keep for 10 years and be happy. Arteta ended up winning the league for the first time now, after so many years of failing, and Arsenal insisted on him and did not fire him and waited for it to happen.

Chelsea should do the same, they are not going to win the title right away, let Xabi stay, keep him for 5 years, and see where it takes you. Not like they can fire Xabi and get a much better manager, that's not going to happen, so why not just reach a point where they could do a lot better by keeping him and giving him some time?

In my opinion, Xabi Alonso is an excellent manager, and I agree with you that they should keep him on for the long term and see where his results take the team over his first two years in charge.
Changing managers every six months doesn’t do any good, unfortunately.
If Xabi Alonso is given the time he needs to work in peace, I believe he’ll bring success back to this team.

Alonso will definitely help them finish better than 10th, the real question is by how much. If he is still around there, like lets say 8th place or whatever, then that is not really a big improvement and basically the same thing all over again.

However, if we are talking about finishing lets say fifth or something then that is a real progress. I am not sure if Xabi Alonso can do that on his first ever season, that would be a huge jump in rankings and doubt that is possible at this moment.

Xabi Alonso has the potentials of helping Chelsea become a competitive club once again, the task he has now is to make sure the team improves this season and also ensuring that the club qualifies for the champions league next season which will determine his continuous stay at the club.

Chelsea will have to make funds available for Xabi Alonso to shop for suitable players to strengthen this Chelsea squad and also dislodge a great number of the current players within the squad who are not performing so well.

 if he could identify most of these factors then he will be able to push the players into contending for the title as well as preserving his job at Chelsea for an extended period.

It will be very  difficult to bring Chelsea to the top 4 this season. Chelsea's overall condition is not strong. Their performance is inconsistent. Alonso will  probably make big changes to the squad. It will be difficult for chelsea to improve very quickly.

I think this is true that it will be very difficult to bring Chelsea into the top four spots according to their current situation. Because there is a lot of things which needs to be settle down to bring Chelsea in their best position. The team's performance was very inconsistent which is i think the main reason of their failure or their destructive position. Xabi Alonso is a good coach and he will make efforts to bring then in their brighter time but still i think the expectations from him should be on the base of the team's current performance. Well a lot of team had a very terrible season last season, I would say just Arsenal and Manchester city had a decent season and end the season with a trophy. Now we see all big teams In the league making signing to be a better team next season.

For me I think we will see a lot of competition in the league next season than we saw this season. Considering how Manchester United ended the season I think they will wan to be in contention for the league this season, Liverpool Also are trying to bring in players that will take them back to their glory days.

Chelsea and Tottenham are Also building a team that will also contest for the league also, so for me I think next season will be exciting.

What happens with Manchester City is they have so high standars that not being champions of the Premier LEague or the Champions League it seems like a complete failure of a season but we all know that is not real, they still manage to do a magnificent season being in the second position of the PL and winning some of the national cups.

Liverpool and Chelsea added Tottenham all played shit last season so they have the next season to do well because and that consistency is what they lack and that is what  can bag them the premier league title which I don't know how that is going to be possible next season Tottenham situation is even worse because they were in between the lines of religation but it's fine and the fact that they finished 17 is just very disappointing and we know Tottenham to always be active, especially when the season is just about to start they are always super active. Since there is an ongoing adjustments then we should know that it's not going to be a big deal for them to perform well next season.
