I feel Arteta didn't come to the final to win hence those stupid plays, initially the whole thing favoured him from that quick opening goal advantage for him but where it got tricky was when PSG drew the match, Arteta didn't even bother to tell his players to pressing a little bit higher to take advantage of any chance since the PSG players where literally almost in the Arsenal half.

To me what happened in that game was pure football, you see football is a game that can change so quickly, at first we thought arsenal was winning until PSG equalized, and to me as an arsenal fan I still fell like PSG would have not won the final if not for that penalty thats why they am still upset with Cristian Mosquera because that the cause of that penalty while watching the game and I saw that the penalty was to be played by Ousmane Dembele I already knew it was a 1-1 game and was so disappointed I felt like arsenal would have maintained thight defence and always pressure the ball to the mid field to protect their post.

Arsenal strategy against PSG was almost the same they do in every game if you ask me i dont see something new in the final, and that is ok since Arteta always plays in that way and they already played last season and the game was a close one, since PSG needs the space to make their fast players runs the best you can do is not give that long space, the problem is PSG players are really good and somehow they avoid the defense.

PSG’s players were better prepared for the match. There are actually many reasons for this, but the most important one was that Arsenal competes in the EPL, while PSG competes in Ligue 1. Arsenal has played more matches than PSG, and the EPL is a league based on high physical intensity and speed. In Ligue 1, however, PSG has established dominance and is far superior to the other teams. This allows them to rotate their lineup easily, which is why their players can maintain a higher level of intensity during the match. Many doubted Arsenal's performance this season, because they think that Arsenal will lose in competition with Manchester City. However, Arsenal managed to quell those doubters by winning the Premier League title this season.

As for the Champions League, Arsenal might not have an easy time winning the trophy, as the other teams were stronger. However, their performance this season was truly remarkable, reaching the final despite losing to PSG.

Arsenal strength under Arteta's leadership has certainly earned them the title epl this season.

It’s funny that people who do never wanted to give Arsenal any credit for their performance this season are making a fuss about Arsenal losing the UCL final to PSG in PENALTIES. One would think it’s the first time a club has lost penalties in the UCL final or PSG beat Arsenal 4 nil.

Their only strategy is defense that's the reason why they couldn't score another goal after scoring the first goal. Psg couldn't break through Arsenal's defense and as a result of that they almost lost the game, the only thing that saved them was the penalty they had which made them equalized. I think arsenal did well against psg but it was quite unfortunate that they still ended up losing.

The penalty spoiled everything for Arseanl,  PSG would've lost that match but unfortunately that happen and result to Arsenal loosing the champions league competitoon.

But if you ask me I will say  if not for that penalty PSG will lost that match because Arsenal already closed everywhere that PSG may breakthrough, but because of the penalty that happened they lost it. By next season we are going be to more tough and repeat the same thing again.

Not minding the fact that Arsenal lost the uefa champions league trophy, I would say that the just concluded season has been the best season for arsenal so far, they did very well, winning the Premier league title and also playing in the finals in the champions league, PSG may have won the trophy because they played way better than Arsenal but still, Arsenal actually did their best considering all the efforts they put into winning the Premier league title..

And let's not forget that Arsenal actually held PSG on a draw for over 120 minutes of playtime if I am not mistaken, that's to show that Arsenal actually played a good game, PSG managed to win through penalties.
I believe that in the coming season, Arsenal will do much better in the champions league than they did this season, let me cross my fingers on this..

Reads like you’re in a hurry tonight. AFAIK Arsenal won only one trophy this season not two, even though I’d have love that to happen. You’re right about Arsenal’s performance this season, they broke a 22 year trophy drought, and also the mental barrier of not being champions. Looking forward to see what this team can achieve next season.

Arsenal approach to that final in terms of the stats was not ok in my opinion. It might have worked for them against many teams but playing defense and relinquishing the ball possession to a team like PSG that have goal hungry players, is suicidal. Not only did PSG used the ball possession well, they dominated in pass accuracy, shots on targets and every other thing. Arsenal used to be a goal scoring side that usually give me over 2.5 and over 3.5 most of the weeks, but ever since Arteta transitioned to that defensive football, it become extremely difficult to see 3 goals in Arsenal matches. I hope Arteta understand that the champions league is not the same as premiership so he should try to modify their play next season.

Arsenal were just unlucky not to score again and that's probably because they sat back too early on the game so it gives them a longer time defend for.

It would have been easier if they had score in the second half of the game, that way they would have little time to defend for and would have been much better.

Sometimes I even think if Arsenal had gone head to head and attacked as they should if it's not a final I think they would have had a better chance at playing better football and winning as well.

In that match if they hadn't defended after scoring Arsenal could have won the final. However they made a few mistakes which ultimately led to a penalty shootout, with PSG winning.

I believe both teams in yesterday's final were of equal strength. This is because judging by the scoreline the match was tied leading to penalties. This indicates that the quality of both teams was quite equal. Arsenal however made a few mistakes opting for a defensive approach after scoring in the first half. PSG changed their game plan in the second half. They were generally very cautious in their play. However their defensive approach gave them the opportunity to attack until the end of the second half. Arsenal's swift defense ensured the match was decided in a penalty shootout.

But it was a very difficult thing because they only relied on counter-attacks unless they still played the same style as in the first half, even though they managed to score a goal in the first half, they seemed afraid to attack in the second half and they preferred to defend in the match, so it was natural that they couldn't add a goal in the second half.
