I still can't get used to these numbers man... That's hell of an amount for him. But if Gordon has been sold by Newcastle for big numbers then Rogers should also be worth it.

Morgan Rogers can be a striker or midfielder it's a good option but the price is very expensive in my opinion for a Morgan, but for Chelsea and the English league it's not strange, they always occupy the most expensive transfer fees and players who come from there are also expensive, so the strangeness is natural if we look at the English league.

I expected someone with more experience to be the manager of liverpool. I don't know what qualifications Iraola got the job. He was  the manager of Rayo Vallecano and Bournemouth. But these two teams couldn't win even 40% of the matches with Iraola. Liverpool management could have found someone with more  experience if they  wanted. Also, Iraola doesn't have any champions league experience. I doubt he can do  well under such a busy  schedule and pressure.

Iraola is not someone we thought they would sign and same as Arne Slot, both lacks the reputation and experience to go to a top club but we saw that Arne Slot did well at first season and fell in the second season.

Iraola won't be judged with just a season except he does pretty terrible for him to be sacked but still I'm going to give him a benefit of doubt seeing how well he did woth Bournemouth, there was growth under him.

With the magic I saw him perform at Liverpool, I believe he will deliver even in his first season and the reason why I like the guy is because of his free flowing football and attacking style which is what we have all come to love about Liverpool and Bournemouth last season was all about this particular style of play and that's why they were a problem to almost all the big teams in the league last season and even help arsenal clinch the title with the game against Manchester City.

I doubt Morgan Rogers is worth that much! After this deal I tried to do some research on him, but I didn't find anything special in his performance statistics that would make him worth £117 million, that's just my opinion. However, Xabi Alonso may have had no special plan to sign Morgan Rogers for such a huge amount of money. Even though he didn't succeed at Real Madrid, I still don't consider him a failed manager, but I can trust his talent.

I still maintain that Iraola is a decent manager and can because a better manager and also improve Liverpool,  because I think his style of play suits Liverpool,  but I don't expect him to win the premier league in his first season in charge of the club, although I am not saying it's not possible, because in football everything is possible, but I think the chances are very slim. I think the club don't have to mount too much pressure on him, so he might come out good with time.

Iraola is a coach who can bring improvements in the liverpool team but the most impressive thing is that evervody relevant to this team must have some patience and also trust the process of being best and efficient. Because the team liverpool has also changes many coaches in fact coaches were terminated or changed by the management for not having desired results. There is no one who can work like a magician and just wipe out all the weakness from the team there are too many things which needs to work on. So the best way is that expect less and get less this will be satisfying because if someone thinks that Iraola comes to the team and there will be a line of trophies which the team will win under his supervision is not possible. Definitely he has to bring some major and important improvements in the team and if only this will happen it is definitely a great achievement for the team

In as far as he’s a good signing I still think he’s not worth £117m However, he will be a great addition to the team and a better replacement for Noni maduake at the right wing and could also be used from the left wing also as he’s a versatile player. I saw him play from the left wing at England  at some point in the semi final of the World Cup again Argentina.

Since Willian Estavao  has not been consistent due to injuries I think he will be a good backup to make good contribution to the club. This are the kind of signings I was expecting from Chelsea and I am honestly happy to start seeing move like this. Now I can confidently say that Chelsea will be among the tittle contenders next season as they have close most of the loop hole in the squad. I just need one more midfielder and we are good.

Yes, I imagine Iraola’s comments have put him in a difficult position. He doesn’t realize that Liverpool is a major club, and any coach there is always under immense pressure, not only to perform well, but also to win titles. Now he has to back up his words. If not, Iraola had better be prepared for the possibility that he might only last one season at Liverpool if his performance is poor.

If he keeps talking like he's the only one capable of bringing Liverpool success and then fails to deliver, he won't even last a full season. If Liverpool go on a losing streak across multiple competitions, the board will sack him as quickly as possible.

I think Iraola comes across as arrogant and full of himself. Coaches with that kind of attitude usually don't last long in the EPL.

Andoni Iraola may even perform well at Liverpool because he has Premier League experience, having coached Bournemouth for three seasons. With that, he has gathered enough experience in the Premier League.

I even prefer Liverpool to get an experienced Premier League coach rather than someone who is doing well and has good records in another league that is not as competitive as the Premier League, La Liga, or the Italian league. We have also seen what has happened at Manchester United. They have signed more experienced managers, but they always ended up not performing well. Being an experienced coach is important, but choosing someone they believe can do the job perfectly is even more important.

According to many sources they said that Alonso is the one that convince him to join the club because Arsenal is already there and they are still negotiating with Aston Villa, I think the reason why Arsenal did make any good move is because the player is too expensive and Chelsea sign him as they want him, Chelsea make a good sign because Morgan Roger is a very good player that can play in any attacking position, but for me the price is too much, Rogers is now currently the most expensive player in the premier league history and Chelsea is the only club that make that kind of signings.

Despite that Chelsea is not playing in any European competition next season Roger decide to join them and that shows how much the player want to play for Chelsea, Chelsea need players like Roger in the team because Xabi Alonso like players that can play in any position in the attack, it is a good signing but I’m still thinking about the price.

the management should not put too much pressure on Iraola to win trophies in his first season, because I'm worried that it will repeat what happened to the previous coach, who was good at the start but then faced pressure and finally the club's performance began to fall apart in his second season. Now the important thing for Liverpool is to enjoy the process. If they succeed in winning a trophy, it will be a bonus from the cooperation between the players and the coach.

We shouldn't be looking at this situation between the club and the managers just in one direction.

No doubt his style of football can fit  Liverpool. At Bournemouth, he showed everyone how good his attacking tactics are. His team never got left behind, they fought hard and even got points from Manchester City to help Arsenal win the league. Because the players match his style so well, he should be able to get big results and play exciting football right from his very first season.

What are great signing for Chelsea, to be honest, this is the first major signing for Chelsea, he will certainly boost their attack next season. Even if Rogers didn't get enough playing time in the World cup, he is still a good player. I would say Rogers is lucky signing for Chelsea, because moving to Arsenal were there is much attacking option, would have reduced his playtime. Chelsea fans will reckon on him to replicate his last season's performance.

My fear for Chelsea is the coach player relationship and not individual players ability. It is good that teams are seriously reinforcing against next season.

Well, but you're right. Iraola turned Bournemouth into the most annoying team to play against in the entire league. But he did that with Bournemouth's budget, no offence.

This is basically Liverpool saying, "ok we lost our identity under Slot and we need it back". Well, that's what happened. Slot made them boring. It was known to the fans, to everyone. Even the supporters clubs in Asia were publicly saying it.

Just look at what Carrick did at United mate! One guy walks in and makes more or less of a different change in their game. And suddenly they finish third. It's sometimes just... fit. It's not only about the biggest name.

The recruitment done by Chelsea is good and especially they now look more careful in buying players, meaning not blindly like two years ago, because for the time being they have only signed one potential player, Morgan Rogers, who indeed I think this player can be a mainstay of Xabi alonso, it's just that the price is very expensive in my opinion.

I have not pay close attention to him actually, but that amount is just too much when I looked at his numbers, like goals and assist last season. Though I may be missing out on something but I just hope that he delivers as expected, because £117 million is not a small amount of money to spend on a single player. The positive thing there is that he is a premier league proven player, so he wouldn't need much time to adapt to his surroundings, so they can be rest assured that he can hit the ground running.
