I just learned from the TV that Kevin Keegan has passed away.
I am deeply saddened. In my opinion, he passed away at a very young age. He had recently—in June—been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

I still can't get used to these numbers man... That's hell of an amount for him. But if Gordon has been sold by Newcastle for big numbers then Rogers should also be worth it.

Finally the first real transfer by Chelsea. I bet Xabi Alonso wanted him. He can play as attacking midfielder and left winger both. Garnacho is likely to leave so this will be a big upgrade I believe.

Morgan Rodgers is an experienced and talented forward. He is currently one of the talented young forward players. He has performed quite well in the past few seasons. If he can continue to perform like this, then taking him to the team at any cost will bring good success for the future.

Yes 75 years is quite an early age not gonna lie, I got the news this night that he passed away today 20th July, it's indeed a sad one, but people come and go. May his soul rest in peace.
I guess we will be observing some time of silence before any match starts

The average age of their left backs right now is 19 years old, and while they are not terrible, none of them are Cucurella.

Morgan Rogers is definitely a good players, but I don't think he is worth £117 million and I think Arsenal did the right thing to walk away from the deal. Chelsea is not an attractive club for players right now, so the best way for them to get players is by spending big, which they just did in the case of Morgan Rogers. I have read some news this morning that clarifies that even after Chelsea made the offer, Arsenal was informed about Chelsea's bid, but they choose not to match it, but rather walk away from the deal, so I don't think it'd a hijack, but Arsenal does not value the player to worth thar much, and I think they made the right decision. This just my opinion and I really wish Morgan Rogers well at Chelsea.

Kayne van Oevelen was reportedly set to join Valencia. Valencia had made him their top target to serve as a backup for their goalkeeper by planning to sign him to a five-year contract (Source). However the deal fell through because Valencia could not meet FC Volendam’s asking price (Source). Kayne is actually a pretty good goalkeeper. He possesses impressive skills in goal thanks to his quick reflexes and ability to make split-second decisions on saves. He also reportedly recorded three clean sheets last season. But he unfortunately was unable to perform at his best toward the end of the season due to an injury. I’ve just seen some impressive saves he’s made so far (Source). And I personally think that he’s a player worth considering as one of the best goalkeepers given his abilities. Perhaps he’ll deliver many surprises next season in the Premier League. And I won’t miss his first match or even his several performances for Ipswich.

I don't know who he was, never got to watch him manage both England and Newcastle.

Alan Shearer thinks highly of him though, and if he does hold him highly and considers him his hero, then he must be a real one. May his soul rest in peace. There are also talks of Arsenal revisiting the the case of getting Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United. Hopefully it happens.

Respect and peaceful rest to the dead but you guys are honestly not serious, in the world we live in today, dying at 75 years is more a blessing than a curse to be honest, because whether you both believe it or not, more people have passed away while or when they were far mucn younger than 75 years..

My dad died at 62, my mum died in her late 20s, three of step brothers dies in their early 40s, a childhood friend of mine who turned out to be like a brother to me died as a teenager(19yr), lots more experiences like this and this is why dying at 75yrs is actually dying at old age to me.

All the same, English football has lost an icon and I extend my confidences to his family, friends and those who wished him well while he was still alive. May he's soul rest in peace.

Actually, I don't think Little United had a terrible season last year. Of course, they aimed for the top spots, but they finished ahead of a team like Tottenham, placing them in a mid-table position. Since they were aiming for higher positions next year, they needed to make some transfers. I found these transfers quite logical because they signed players who, if they perform well in the Premier League for a few seasons, could be sold for a high price.

We can really see how steep the price to pay for transfer is now, signing Tarik for 40m from Sasuolo is really wild, and for Leeds too. Honestly they really need that signing because as disruptive as they were last season, they would need alot to actually make a better difference in the league.

Talking about Leeds, lastly, I feel like they won't even make that much difference because I haven't seen any major changes that would help there chances, the hope is to finish upper side of the mid table.

RIP for Kevin Keegan . I remember when he was playing as forward, and he's also ever managed English national team. He was so damn good when he played at mercurian liverpool. Sadly, he get less credit for many of his achievement. Good bye kev, what a legend.

I think they have high hopes for Tarik, given the amount of money they've spent. 40 million Euros is a lot of money for Leeds, and they expect a good performance from a player they've paid that much for. I can say that Tarik performed well with Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Cup. I think Leeds will have good matches again in the Premier League next year.

Yea, because even the Bible says 70 years for those who are weak and 80 years for those who are strong and he died at 75 years which to me isn't a bad news because we most definitely die someday.

I believe football will always remember him based on his contributions to the game. He's indeed an icon to English football. May his soul RIP.
