I’m just observing everyone is just so focused on talking about Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United and people are neglecting what Brighton Hove Albion is doing in the premier league. These guys have been merciless and ruthless since the beginning of the season, scoring at will and with ease; look at that goal by Diego Gomez, just reminded of then Luis Suarez of Liverpool and Jamie Vardy of Leicester.
Since August they’ve only been defeated by Chelsea and it was a high scoring game, they have so far defeated Arsenal 3:0, Manchester United 3:2 and are not relenting.
They may be league contenders with this form… what do you think?

The thing is they are still considered to be an average team, we have seen teams go on these types of runs before and by December or January they will be at mid table. Brighton is currently having a good season but it just after 7 games, so for now there won’t be much attention on them, until they can keep it up to maybe after 25 or above then people will begin to talk about them.

If you are familiar with the premier league then you will know that every season there is always one team like this, there is always that underdog team that cause teams problem in the league. Brighton are under a new manager and also a very young one too, so it normal to see them giving such impact on the field.

Since they're not a big team people are not talking about them much but their performance makes it hard for them to be overlooked, they're one of the best team in the league so far and it's suprising cause people didn't see that coming, such performance was expected from Manchester United cause they had a better performance when Carrick took over.

As the top scoring team in the league currently and not too far from Manchester City with few points gap, it's right to see them as contenders but would their form last till the next transfer window? That's what am curious about. City and Arsenal still remains the top contenders, team i can pur my money on to win the league not Brighton.

You are right. This season some teams that we have considered as weak have come to a better position . In addition to Brighton, Brentford and Leeds United are also in a good position. Although they have not won many matches, they have lost only one match each. And they are much higher in the points table than Manchester United. I do not want to consider them as a much better team than Manchester United right now. Because it has only happened this season. Behind Manchester United becoming a big club is the continuity of many years of good performance. But if those are playing a little better now can maintain this continuity, then maybe after the next few seasons they will also have to consider time like Brentford, Leeds United also  Hull City as strong teams in a much better position.

Tottenham got their first win of the season, goals from James Maddison, Davies and Marmoush. I watched the game and from the way Tottenham approached the game I knew they were going to win. The win now have lifted them out of the relegation zone. Coventry really gave them a good fight, they played well, but they just need to get some few details right. The way lampard set up his team yesterday was really nice, I won’t be surprised if I see them remaining in the premier league next season.

On the other hand too, Tottenham really need to improve in that defense and midfield, I really think they missed Bentacur in that midfield yesterday. They will be playing Chelsea next and I really think it going to be a tough one for them.

They are off and on sets of clubs, they can be in a good position in the table now but watch until the end of the season and see where they will finish. Manchester United has the better chance of eclipsing them at the top before the season ends even though they seem to be struggling at the moment they are well experienced enough to come back to winning games and improve in their league standing. Man united have been in this kind of difficult situations before, last season they were almost falling before the appointment of Michael Carrick who helped the club finished in the top 4 and not they’re playing champions league football. What man united needs to do now is to get a new coach as fast as possible.

They are actually doing very well, however for you to lift the premier league title you must be consistent from the beginning of the league till the end, I don’t think Brighton can be consistent till the end, but if the can be consistent this way till the end, they have a chance to lift the Premier league title this season because they are actually performing excellently.
What the coach needs to concentrate on now is how to make the team consistent in the way they play, they should have this determination of wanting to lift the Premier league title. They should not desire to be in the champions league spot, there desire should be to lift the premier league title, I believe if they have this desire they can lift the premier league because they are playing very well.

Yes I completely agree with you. Especially in the Premier League, the season becomes more exciting towards the end to win the title. Looking at the current performance, we can never say which team will win. If they can keep their current performance in the current position and if they can maintain their current performance for 27 matches, then we can see something good from them. But I don't think they will be able to win the title. Because it is not easy to win against strong opponents like Manchester City and Arsenal. Manchester City is a very strong team and they are consistent and a team capable enough to maintain their consistency.

I am about giving up on Manchester United, before this season a lot of people if thisanticipating that Manchester United will be in a very strong position this season, but unfortunately they could not be able to withstand it, how can I tell this story that a team who was doing fine at the end of last season, by even ending the season in the third place and now below top 10 the following season. Brighton was always a marvelous team, but that was not enough for them to compete for the league. They are having the best time in the Premier league, after a 5-0 defeat against Crystal Palace, once again keeping a clean sheet with massive goal difference.

They climb to third position in the Premier league with three points ahead of Chelsea, it was a crucial point they needed to secure themselves the top 4 position. They could possibly qualify for the Champions league next season with this performance.

What a coincidence! I was just scrolling through social media now and I saw this photo only to come across your post here again. We rarely talk about them because we believe this is just the beginning and they might not maintain the energy until the end of the season. But to be honest, Brighton are playing pretty attacking football with lots of confidence this season. Maybe what happened in 2016 is about to repeat itself? I really can't believe it but who knows.

Manchester United has been a lil disgrace to their self and people that watch them last season in excitement to end up becoming this way. Things can't be this bad for them to settled this way and it's so bad that you can't say if they are coming out of these. There is no an assurance that Carrick can win 5 games in a row, it's not possible with this team right now. The only way for such to happen is if the opponent team allow them to win and that will look like rig.

Things may look tough but maybe it's time to make some changes, Carrick should bench some players and start some. If a team is struggling to win, he must use and bench the players that do have the time often, that way he will see if things can be good or bad.

Brighton performance in the Premier this season is something that other managers need to study. Brighton is the only team that has scored more goals in the league this season, Brighton and Arsenal are the only teams that have conceded fewer goals in the league. Brighton is going to replace many teams not Manchester United alone. Tottenham is no longer among the top teams in the Premier League. But I’m happy to see them get their first win of the season.

I thought Brighton would suffer in the Premier League this season after selling some of their key players during the transfer window, but from the look of a thing, they don’t even look like a team that sell any players in the transfer window. In less than 10 minutes they were leading by three goals against Crystal Palace. Let’s see how long they can maintain this level this season.

So which players do you expect Carrick to bench? I'm really curious because if the first XI can not get the work done, do you really think the reserve players will come and do magic? Manchester united problem is not just about benching some players, the whole team is seem to have problem. Just imagine benching Bruno or Mbeumo, things can only get worse if care is not taken. Of course, he can try to make rotation but let be frank, Manchester united bench is not anywhere better than what they have in the pitch. I'm feeling bad for Carrick for getting himself into this mess in the first place.

I am surprised about Brighton on how they are performing this season because no one saw it coming, the team we expected to push harder is Manchester United, despite Chelsea preparation, I was still not convinced that they will do better than Manchester United, buy unfortunately Chelsea have proved me wrong to be in fourth place now.

Chelsea's present in the Champions League next season will certainly become true, I think seeing them in the fourth place is a very good turn up because we could not even expect it. Right now Chelsea are doing better than Liverpool and Manchester United which I see as a progress, Xavi Alonso is actually doing the best work in chelsea.

Almost everybody thought the same thing, me i even thought that this season is going to be one of manchester united best season following the performance of carrick last season but instead we are seeing the opposite of it.
If manchester united don't want to continue with this poor performance till the end of the season then they need to either change their coach or buy some important players that they needed to fill in some leaking position.

We always hear calls to replace the coach when a team is having a bad season. For some teams, replacing the coach can be a solution to restore performance, but for Manchester United, from what I've observed, they've replaced the coach several times, and it hasn't been the solution. If things are like this, what's wrong with this team? These aren't empty words, but the reality of what's happening to them.
In your opinion, what other solution is there besides calling for a change of coach, given the evidence that such a decision isn't truly a solution?

You have raised a very good and important question. I also think it would be unfair to blame the coach alone for the current state of Manchester United. But I am not saying that the coach's decisions are not responsible either.

Think simply, last season under Michael Carrick, United finished third. But look at the statistics this time, they have only won one of the seven matches. So it becomes a question of why such a difference in performance despite the fact that the coach was the same last time?

United may be buying new players, but does buying only good players make a strong team? If building understanding between the players, who is needed in which position and how much they are able to accept the coach's plan are also important

That's still a very bad record for Micheal Carrick i believe he is worse than Ruben Amorim that was sacked, Ruben Amorim didn't perform so bad before he was sacked so i believe Carrick sacked letter will already be waiting for him to be served any moment now, 7 points after 7 premier league games is too bad for a team like Manchester United. Manchester United need to do something immediately their condition in the table isn't good, so they wish to qualify for next UEFA Champions league they need to start winning games beginning from their upcoming Premier league games.

I do not know Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick which person is worse but what i know for sure is that Michael Carrick is getting close of him being sacked by Manchester United management, the reason Michael Carrick remains as Manchester United manager after a hard start this season is because Manchester United management are not always quick in sacking manager however if Michael Carrick fail to improve Manchester United's performance and start getting the results Manchester United fans and management was expecting from him this season he will not remain Manchester United manager until this time next month.
