That's still a very bad record for Micheal Carrick i believe he is worse than Ruben Amorim that was sacked, Ruben Amorim didn't perform so bad before he was sacked so i believe Carrick sacked letter will already be waiting for him to be served any moment now, 7 points after 7 premier league games is too bad for a team like Manchester United. I suggest they do a massive flushing and recruitment of players just like Chelsea did maybe it'll help their situation.

They also need a midfielder who can control the game and maintain the balance between defense and attack. As for the attacking line, I don't see any major problems. I agree, Manchester United clearly need more improvement if they want to compete at the highest level again. The team needs more consistency, better organization, and especially some experienced players who can bring leadership and stability to the squad. Bringing in quality, experienced players in key positions could make a big difference. The manager also needs time to build the right system, but the results have to improve because United are a club with very high expectations

Carrick lacks what the strategy to win at desperate time but let's not act like the main problem why they are not winning matches is Carrick. A coach doesn't play, his job is to instruct, tell players what they will do and do it professionally but the players song deliver. Do you think that if he has players like the calibers of Manchester City he will not win matches? He will definitely do a clean job, so it's obvious that players are part of the problem in that team.

He was able to win last season with the same players, that's true but that was in desperate time as he wanted to get the job. Now is different from last season, the season is early, all top teams want to win. If they don't have good players to win, there is nothing he can do.

Yea, everyone thought Manchester united is going to do wonders this season or be among the contenders this season in the premier league but honestly, they are doing the opposite of what people expected from them. After what Manchester united went through and Michael Carrick helped them to achieve little thing last season, I was in support in signing Michael Carrick because he is the only person that has done well but I never knew it won't last for long, I know how frustrated and disappointed Manchester united fans will be right now.

I’m not even a Man U fan but c’mon now, let’s call a spade a spade, there’s nothing appealing about Man U’s performance this season and i don’t think they have ever had such a bad start to a season like this in over 40years, so what really went wrong with them?, squad depth?, I’d say yes but there’s also a deeper issue that needs to be addressed and that is the deep structural failures within the club as a whole:

1. The ownership and decision making structure of the club is obviously still broken, and it shows with the way Ratcliffe and his bunch of confused committee members are running the club, there’s no synergy between these people so how do you expect the club to move forward?

2. The way they recruit players is so incoherent because i don’t understand why they adopted such a stiff phase by phase plan of buying players, where they have to wait to buy attackers on one transfer window first, then midfield on the next one, and then defense later, like how does that make sense?, why not just buy players that are actually needed to boost the squad quality instead of all the unnecessary waiting?

3. They clearly lack a clear football identity, we don’t even know what they are actually good at, you can’t go into a match and start throwing random emotes and hope for a win, you gotta have a style, perfect it and stick with it
Take Barca for example, everyone knows Barca are good at the Tiki-Taka style and they have been consistent with it for years and it has also worked well for them. Man U have not had something like this ever since the era of Alex Ferguson, they just go into every match with different play styles, and now they have shifted to possessions and higher blocks without even having the intensity and mobility to make it work, isn’t that futile?

Carrick is currently clueless as it is now because it’s obvious that he really doesn’t know what to do with these boys anymore, all the tweaks he has made don’t seem to have landed consistently.

People say he did a good job last season as interim coach and yeah they may be right even though i think he did average last season, but now that he’s the permanent coach, things are not really going good for him.
I like him cos he’s mostly calm under pressure but the club's history of impatience means that the clock is already ticking and if he doesn’t make any improvements soon enough, he might need to go.

Now when you look at it you can’t even say what the problem is. After the transfer window we saw micheal Carrick saying they have a good enough squad to challenge in all competitions this season. As fans and spectators we all knew that this current squad is not good to play every 3 days. The owners didn’t invest well for a team that will be playing in the champions league.

Where I’m giving Carrick blame is that, since the beginning of season he has been playing most players off their positions, that need to stop rid he wants to start scrapping out results. Also, he needs to start taking bold decisions, players like Bruno that are underperforming needs to be bench, until so  I don’t see Carrick doing well this season.

Tottenham were bottom of the league table but have now climbed up. Surpassing Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Coventry. 88th minute, towards stoppage time. The game has to end this way. However, if Coventry get a late equalizer, it will be bad for Tottenham.

Since ferguson retired that's when manchester united started having this problem and it's so sad to see that the problem remains unresolved till this time. I'm beginning to feel that the glazer's are happy about the whole thing because i have not seen them making a step that makes sense in the club, instead they keep pushing the whole blames on coach and the players. if they know that the players are not capable enough to Play for manchester united anymore they should sell them out and  then bring in new players rather than giving excuses everytime, imagine the last transfer window that just passed they couldn't even bring enough players considering their condition or maybe they feel they can manage the available players? Congrats to Tottenham, they have been able to get their first win of the season. Tottenham that haven’t been able to win any match this season won against Coventry today, and they scored 3 goals in the match. I don’t even know what to say about Tottenham, because their performance has been so bad this season, I never expected to see Tottenham at the bottom of the table, they spent so much money when the transfer window was open, and they playing poorly.

Since Tottenham has climbed to 16th position on table, let’s just hope they going to keep on climbing on the table, I hope they not going back to the relegation zone which they were before. Tottenham next match will be against Chelsea, do we think Tottenham will be able to win Chelsea in the match?

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur managed to pick up their first win of the season, in fact as per my observation this team was winless in six consecutive matches in 2025/26 Premier League season but today they performed like an experienced team against Conventry side as they managed to win 3-1 and get full points.

Spurs were full of confidence at home as Maddison scored in just the 14th minute today against an average Conventry side and we think the team have been cruising towards victory ever since. Tottenham's statistics this season is that they have drawn three matches and won one match which means it seems they are now 16th in the points table but look like they will face a challenge in their next match as they face Chelsea in that game.

Although the two teams have quality players, Chelsea is far better and more competent that Tottenham right now, and with the home advantage Chelsea have the higher hand. Even when you see the H2H record between the two teams, Chelsea have won more games and more of their recent games against Tottenham, this game will not be different.
If perhaps Tottenham go on to get a staggering win at the Stamford bridge stadium, it could mark the beginning of their season and a winning run because that will boost their confidence in each other's ability and trust in their coach. I kind of hope they win.
