I think the loss to Brighton shouldn't be a big deal. They're a good team and any team can lose at their home stadium. Yes, conceding 3 goals looks bad, but every team can have a bad day. Arsenal will make up for it in other matches. Looking at the league as a whole, Arsenal is playing well and it seems their only real rival is still City. Of course City will also have away games where they lose points. I don't think there's a problem with the game plan or the goalkeeper. Arteta has surely learned from this loss.

There are still 33 games left in this season, which means Arsenal and other teams still have enough time to recover from early loses of this season. The loss against Brighton will be nothing for Arsenal, if they didn't repeat such mistakes in upcoming matches. Conceding three goals in a single match is something Arteta must look for because it shows their are weakness in Arsenal defence. At the moment it looks like that contest is between Gunners and Man City but its too early to say that others won't catch up to give tough time to both these teams.  

Yes, there are still a lot of matches for other teams to recover. But I feel at the end the standings will likely be the same as it used to be in the previous seasons, with Manchester City and Arsenal at the top, these two teams are showing a great performance to be the champions. Once the season gets tougher, all these Brighton, Brentford and Leeds that are performing well at the top now won't be able to keep it up, because I'm very sure they will get tired.

I agree Manchester united would have also lost that match if not for the bold decision chunia had to try from outside the box, fullham also could not hold 1-0 win till the end..

Bruno Fernandez was totally not present in the match because he didn't make any impact through out the match, the achievement he got last season would be surprising to one who just started watching football this season, at this point is not only about the coach the individual performance of every play needs to be better.

There are days where Bruno Fernandes is like the hero and we hear his name around with praises while the games where he fails to do well, the criticism is clear as if he is the main issue of Manchester united.

It wasn't just last season he did exceptionally,  he did well in one of the games United played already this season. I think hd is so instrumental and over relied on because every games where he doesn't perform as expected United usually suffer from it and can we all agree a player can not make a team?

Last season, Arsenal lost a few games and still won the league. I still see them as challengers for the title. Man City is topping the table by 3 points. Both teams are the title contenders this season.

No favorite for the Premier League title other than Arsenal, the banter from opposing fans is not a threat to Arsenal still the best team likely to win the Premier League trophy, and Manchester City staying on top of the league table looks to be temporary, their performance is not yet able to hold them all along the season without dropping important points, not enough to consider them the best candidate in the competition.

Manchester City has secured five wins in five matches.
At the very least, they haven't suffered a crushing defeat like Arsenal did. Arsenal couldn't do a thing against Brighton they lost 3–0 without even managing to put up a fight. Manchester City wouldn't lose to Brighton like that. City has also significantly strengthened its midfield they have Anderson and Fernandez. I’m not sure it’s right to underestimate Manchester City in the title race.

Right now, Manchester City is showing a very strong winning trend they won every match played so far and sit on 15 points in the provisional standings. It’s excellent, and I think they win the title this season. Their players are becoming increasingly cohesive. Antoine Semenyo and Erling Haaland are looking lethal up front, and their defense is rock solid. Coach Enzo Maresca has found the right formula. The upcoming match against Liverpool after the international break will be the real test, but I believe Manchester City will still win the macth they hold the advantage in terms of squad quality and tactics.

Maresca is doing a good job, he's gradually capturing the heart of fans who felt the team would collapse if Pep Guardiola leaves, people can now see why he was choosen as his replacement, i believe Pep Guardiola would be impressed and happy he left the team in safe hands, the performance is encouraging and would motivate players to do better.
 No matter how strong a defence is, they can never be invisible to all attacking minded teams, Sunderland might be an underdog but they're a threat to big teams cause they're also good at pressing but Manchester City bossed them by creating more chances and scored more to win the which is most important.

Man City really tried playing 5 matches home and away and got 3 points from each of the matches kudos to them, and Manchester City attackers look very sharp and their striker Haaland, that guy a beast in front line and secondly he hardly go injury he's such a player that every clubs would love to have. I think their midfield is somehow okay because they just signed new midfielders which they haven't understand very well, but it seems their defence line isn't strong enough because their last match with Sunderland really proved that their defence is shaking, i was wondering how Manchester City scored in 9 minutes just 12 minutes time Sunderland equalized 2 times i thought the match will end draw but Manchester City players put all their efforts to win that match right now they are the only clubs in England to win 5 matches without losing or draw any of their matches.

I also think Arsenal and Manchester City are the strongest, I don't think Liverpool will be in great form now, and besides, they are not in great form, in the Premier League I only see these two teams who are the biggest contenders for the title, which are Arsenal and Manchester City. And when they face each other, that will make the difference between them and prove who is the real contender for the title. Last season, there was a 7-point gap between Arsenal and Manchester City and this season they started off great with a win. However, Arsenal lost their last match and using this opportunity, Manchester City is now at the top, Manchester City will want to increase the gap between them from now on, and for this Manchester City will not lose any points easily, and in the same way, Arsenal will also start playing for the win to get to the top, this is how the fight between them will continue and when they face each other, that will be the main fight.

Manchester United performance has not been good this season, they didn’t start the season well, I just hope Carrick will be able to improve Manchester United’s performance. I was expecting a better performance from Manchester United, because of how they ended last season, I was thinking they going to continue with their good performance, but this season is entirely different, they performing below my expectation. I don’t really know the cause of Manchester United poor performance.

Two truths can exit and you are spot on about Bruno Fernandes being shit this season, the same time Michael Carrick being wacky as shit. But it all stems from the structure of the manager and we have to admit that Michael Carrick, has been shit as well.

The wins we have seen this season so far has seen Cunha 9j the score sheet and it has come from him playing on the left wing and not as a point man or striker. I do want to also see Bruno Fernandes leave Manchester United finally, he has done too much for us ever since he joined us. Gratitude!

I have still doubts manchester city can do better under Maresca, because he is now fully dependent on Haaland if Haaland get injured how theyncan survive I don't think so they can survive the relegation team matches. Maresca said in interview if Haaland happy we are happy if Haaland are not happy manchester is not happy that's Maresca said after the manchester Derby they won, and if you watch the manchester Derby you will get my points what's I am trying to figure out. They can't win even against Tottenham if Haaland miss that's match so all they hype are arround Haaland.

I find it hard to understand why people talk this way, this is so Naive..

You are basically giving conclusions because of something only you have guessed will happen, you said they will drop points (I don't get the context behind the "important") which they haven't, and because of that they are not the best in the competition. So because of something that has not happened you made your conclusion.
A better way to put it was to say "If Manchester City drop points significantly they will not be considered as the favorite to win the EPL"
You speak in a sentimental manner because your an Arsenal fan or what so ever, but that's not the best way to put things, you use facts for your probabilities, not probabilities from probabilities..

We all expected something better this season but unfortunately they are back to the beginning again. Now people are now wondering if what Carrick did last season was just fluke. With the look of things one can argue that it's fluke because just last season with the same squad they did the unthinkable and suddenly now they are struggling despite adding a few players to the squad. We hope he can improve the performance but if not there's no two ways about it. You can't keep paying someone who is not meeting expectations. I believe the cause was not adding more quality to the team especially in the most needed areas in the squad.

Sure they are...However, that very thing that I have notice about Arsenal's gameplay is their lack of consistency... Surely we all can very well confirm how good of a team they are, by what they struggle at is the ability of maintaining that winning momentum.. Even at some point they will just lose when we least expected them..And right now, the competition between City and Arsenal is very much, such that Arsenal isn't meant to be losing points..The truth about Arsenal is that they could very well play well against stronger opponents, but when it comes to the underdogs that should be very easy for them, you will see them not delivering as they should.. And if Arsenal can improve on this very aspect then they surely would make this season very difficult for Maresca as well as the whole of City's squad..

Actually, the management wanted to build a team capable of winning the Premier League title, and everyone expected Carrick to stay in charge this year because of what he did last year. That's what happened, but Carrick is much worse this year than last, and Manchester United have already lost a lot of points and fallen behind in the title race. I think they will now gradually shift their focus to achieving a Champions League qualifying position.

We’re still in a fresh season but it seem that the season is getting tough as Arsenal and Manchester City have taken the lead of the Premier League tables are we expecting among of this two teams to be our favorite to win the Premier League this season or there others that can do more than those two clubs. Because those three teams that you mentioned earlier the initial season that is worry them, that’s why their blood they hot now.

I don’t think they can go anywhere else they only want to put some pressure on those teams that are ahead of them to weak their performances but it will very hard for them to take over the first or second place from Arsenal or Manchester City. Because this teams are well prepared for this season, we never know who will win at the end of the season.

Don't mind their poor performance right now because when it is time they will change the game and move out of the relegation zone, there are teams that don't go to relegation anyhow and Tottenham Hotspur is among the team that doesn't go relegation anyhow and don't be surprised any of these team that is disturbing may find themselves in relegation but they actually need to do better this season because they have been like this for over 3 seasons now.

I was shocked too cause i expected better from Arsenal, well that's football especially in the Premier League where the unimaginable happens, if i was being told that Arsenal would lose to Brighton without scoring any goal, i would've argued that but then it's the Premier League and anything is possible afterall.

Brighton had an added advantage playing on their home turf.

Even so the fact that Arsenal misplaced by three goal margin without scoring any single goal throughout the match came as shock to everyone. In recent transfer market, City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle and Liverpool were the largest spender in that order. Surprisingly apart from City, none of these club feature in top five.

Most interestingly Brentford and Leeds now occupy fourth and fifth spot. For these two team merely remaining in top ten would be challenge. Despite possessing strong squad, giant club like Liverpool, Chelsea, United and Tottenham are failing to achieve good result.
