I disagree with you that Michael Carrick is a failure, this was how you guys abused Ruben Amorim last season before he was sacking. Amorim was coaching sporting CP and he was doing perfectly well before Manchester United went and signed him, I believe he must have regretted ever coaching Manchester United because the club want to kill his coaching career and i also believe you saw his coaching work right now in AC milian. Now Carrick took over from Amorim after he was sacked and he did very well by qualifying Manchester United for champions league, they same players that he coached last season and qualify for champions league are still there with his coaching tactics, my question is why can't those players perform the way they did last season? At times we think that coach happen to be the problem why team are not performing well. It's seems the players want Carrick to be sacked before they'll perform well, watch when Carrick will be sack and see their first match will be, Let me tell you it's seems there's a cause following Manchester United but you guys didn't know.

I have come to conclusion that the players are not capable enough because even if the coach is not doing well at least the players are supposed to create something. i was actually streaming the match but I got fed up at some point because Manchester united didn't perform like a team that came for wining it as though they are forced to play. I suggest that the board should try and change those  players this time not coach because this is not actually the coach's fault but the players they are very lazy.

Finally saying something I've been keeping to myself for the past two or three seasons. 

If you remember a few seasons ago when Ten Hag was still managing MU, you seemed to be a United fan, and I had an opinion that Bruno and Maguire should be sold as soon as possible and replaced with new players. I felt it was time for both of them to be replaced so the team could get better contributions from new signings. But back then, I kept that opinion to myself out of respect for all the MU fans here.

And honestly, I'm really disappointed with MU's defense in today's match. It was as if they had absolutely no fighting spirit at all.

Most top teams didnt perform so well this weekend, because Manchester city, Chelsea and Manchester United lost their matches. I expected Manchester United to lose today, with how Manchester United have been performing, I knew they won’t be able to win Bournemouth today. This season has been a bad season for Manchester United, they are struggling in matches, and every team is just winning them.

I don’t even know what’s wrong with Manchester United right now, and if their performance continues like this, am sure they just going to sack Carrick, but even if Carrick is sacked, and they sign another coach, I don’t think anything is really going to change.

Chelsea match was a game which I expected Chelsea to win, I don’t know what happened, and they disappointed me in the match, they couldn’t get even a goal against a team like Tottenham. A team that has been performing poorly since the beginning of the season.

Ah, I say no to Manchester United, they are really not improving, and look at him going into the relegation zone at the start of the season, wouldn't that be better to say than alh-instead we are talking about improving everything.
There are so many things that happened in this season that may be different from the results of last season's game and not only Manchester United, like Sunderland for example, last season they performed well but the current season really can not score more points, and from 8 games only one game they can win so far.

Chelsea at least did not make so disappointed, he managed to be in the standings much better than last season which is expected to continue to be in the top 5, and Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City, they are certainly a team that has much more consistency in the EPL.

The point is that Manchester United have dropped to 16th place after this defeat, just one point above the relegation zone. Even Tottenham, who were at the very bottom of the table, are now above them after this round. I think Manchester United are in such a terrible position that they have to sack Carrick and find another manager.

They are part of the problem especially Harry Maguire. I see no reason why a serious team like Manchester United will rely on Maguire as their first choice central defender, he is old, not in form and not good enough for teams like Manchester United. I don’t know why his past errors in the past three seasons were forgotten and no proper replacement yet, even the Martinez they rely on need support, they can’t just rely on Yoro as a defender for a team like Manchester United.

Bruno Fernandez is looking like a player no coach can bench in Manchester United, he is good there no doubt about it, but there should be competition in all positions including his position too, and they have good Kobo Maino that can play better with good work rate to use, but coaches are afraid of benching him for these players and that’s why the problem keeps growing. This Manchester United team need a coach that can not tolerate such act, so that they can have good game play without favoring any player, let them set their team based on form, the best player at the training should start a match.

Tottenham started badly at the beginning of the season but their recent performance especially the 2:0 win against Chelsea yesterday shows that they’re gradually improving and the squad is beginning to understand each other better. I still believe that Man united can get back to their best form soon, they have some new players in the squad who are not really at their best yet not that the players are bad because obviously they were performing well in their previous clubs before man united bought them especially a player like Tieleman who was so good at Aston Villa but right now at man united he’s not showing what he was doing at Aston Villa probably because they’re yet to adapt to a new manager and environment. I want you guys to understand that this same Carrick was the one that qualify for champions league taken over from Amorim with ith same players and tactics. I think the player's should improve more, let's check other Manchester United players that was sold out but the ones on loan are all doing well. Did coach did very well last season so let's not criticise him for now, believe he must be worried about their performance right now and thinking on how to sort the issue out. They should give him more time only 8 matches has been played, maybe before second legs he must have sort the issue out.

It’s really painful to see a team like Manchester United so close to the bottom of the table, and it’s painful to see them play these matches so badly.
In my opinion, it has little to do with the manager, because Carrick has proved himself to be a great manager and turned the team’s fortunes round last year; it’s painful to see the players not following his lead and doing as they please, they are truly poor professionals.
Only Bruno Fernandes is worthy of this shirt, along with Luke Shaw and a few others. The rest are players who might as well switch sports, given their very poor professionalism.

Manchester United regret their decision not to take offers from Saudi Arabia and Turkish League teams for Bruno Fernandes. Next summer, Bruno should pack his bags and leave the club.

Every other player in that team except for Lamens and Mbuemo, the rest should be sold. Telemans cant even trap a ball. I wonder how these guys became professionals.

Manchester United were decent last season, at least. What the hell has changed this season to make them look like this? Same manager, pretty much the same players. This is shaping up to be the worst Manchester United side in history.
The club spends so much money, yet I genuinely can't name a single player I'd call really good. Maybe Fernandes, but even he isn't good enough in my eyes.
After the Bournemouth game, even if Carrick doesn't get sacked, he should resign just to save himself from having to endure any more of this misery.

It’s quite funny that last season united fans were saying that if carrick has started season with them they would be  at the top of the table, well, we don’t have wonder anymore, he’s been given the opportunity and he has been terrible, going into this season I was really expecting something from united and carrick. I was expecting him to be in the title race and compete for other cups too but he’s been disappointing!

The real question is where does the club go from here? carrick can’t stay, at the same time who’s going to replace him, and even with that United’s problem is not only the manager but other aspects too, when are they going to address those issues? The poeple at the top are capable of leading this club back to glory

Yeah, you're right. Man United supporters were optimistic about Carrick. At that point, who wouldn't? Man united was performing poorly and Carrick came and turned things around, finishing amongst the top 4 and qualifying for the champions league. It's totally understandable on people being optimistic about this season under his leadership. Sadly, it hasn't been going as hoped.
I don't think Carrick would be removed any time soon.

People don't often sit back and look at the bigger problem. A lot of football fans these days are easily driven by emotions. They just can't see that they're moving in cycles... No real progress due to the consistent sacking of managers. After the end of last season, a decent number of them were demanding for the club to give him a permanent contract, rather than to leave him as an interim manager for a given period.

Giving him time to build his own team is absolutely the best idea, but again, most fans nor the management seems to have the patience to endure long term suffering during the stages of rebuilding, knowing fully that it's almost difficult to come into the premier league and dominate for long. I believe Arne Slot's story is actually a typical explanation of how complex the league is. Building a team is just something a manager can't skip, and it takes a lot of time to figure it out.

The league is now entering into a new level, with the coming rounds going to be more interesting. Manchester City is going to host Brighton, and Arsenal is having a challenge from Liverpool. These games are going to have enough entertainment. Aston Villa is also picking momentum; this will increase the fight at the top for staying in a good position.

These two matches are going to be very good because both teams, City and be catastrophic. If they give Arsenal the opportunity to take advantage, they'll leave City in the dust. When Arsenal gets going, they rack up a lot of points, Arsenal, need to win. Well, I think City, more than anything, can't and shouldn't lose or draw. They need to get points because a draw or a loss would and it will be very difficult for City to catch up. I think the most interesting and most difficult match is for Arsenal. Liverpool is playing well and they really rise to the occasion when they play against very strong teams like Arsenal.

Perhaps most responsible people or fans want Michael Carrick to be sacked while some say he needs to be given more time as he has not been appointed as head coach for a long time. If given more time maybe he can take the team to a better position but that may not be possible. If he cannot take the team to a better level then giving him time is probably a waste of time, maybe the team officials should work on appointing a better manager.

After the 3-0 defeat against Bournemouth there should be no more excuses although some may say Manchester United performed well and were aggressive by keeping the ball in their possession for most of the match. But in reality the team didn't score any goals this is the team's failure as well as Carrick's.
