I’m happy with the way Arsenal are going about their Business. Calafiori has been signed. They’re trying to bring in Mikel Merino to boost their midfield options. Honestly, it’s a very good thing to see. Somehow I’m gingered. I can’t wait to see them in competitive action. I also want to see what Arteta has up his sleeves to make them a better team.
He keeps emphasizing on improving the current players they have and I think that is really important. They can make as many signings as they want but their players still have new levels to hit. Calafiori gives Arsenal seven guaranteed quality options at the back, some of whom can even play in different positions.
However, no matter what they do, don't get injured and Jurrien Timber should be benched throughout the preseason.
I agree, Arsenal needs a better starting striker. Haverz is not a good killer.

The Arsenal defense hasn’t been a problem tbh. They only conceded just 29 goals last season, that’s 5 less than Manchester City.
Arteta has decided to add another defender to the team, in the person of Calafiori. There are other areas to upgrade but I think he wants his team to concede less goals and that’s exactly what Calafiori would do. He’ll provide more solidity for the team.
One area that’s of urgency is the attack. I think this is a position where Arsenal doesn’t have quality option. I’ve not seen anything linking them to a top striker. I don’t see them signing any striker in this summer transfer window given the finances involved. They’re concentrating on a bringing in a midfield and maybe another winger. These are the realistic targets for now.

If Arteta gets all his targets before the deadline day, they’ll be in a good position for another title charge.

I don't really see their behaviour as being careful because they have had interest in some players this season where their interest somehow dies off or I guessed they act reluctantly. Aside from that they say van Dijk is also likely to leave but I think he won't. I expect him to stay one more year and then leave maybe. He is 33 now but quality defenders like him would continue to perform decently for a few more years. In case of parting ways with him, their alternative is allegedly Bremer. Can we take the decision to sign Kubo as a sign for Salah to leave from Liverpool soon? Even if kubo is gonna be used as a sub for Salah, then this transfer doesn't sound right for me. I value Kubo as a good winger, but Salah is in another level compared to him. So many times i heard Salah is unlikely moves this summer.

There's no need for Liverpool to be as aggressive as their rival in the summer transfer season. Liverpool finished third last season. It's clear the club doesn't need major changes.

And last, im not a fan for this transfer, and i think this is a wasteful transfer. I'd rather go for Kvaratskhelia instead of Kubo, which makes more sense than Kubo.

Personally I think the better replacement would be Federico Chiesa because he is a player full of energy, he has that confidence to make things happen on his own, he is a good goal scorer and he is from Italian league so adapting in the premier league will be very easy for him.

Kubo, Chiesa, Kvaratskhelia are not goal productive players and I only don't know about Bakayoko. Chiesa after Euro 2020, got some injuries and never returned to his best performances and it was reflected in Euro 2024. He is one of key players in Italy but did not play well.

At the moment kubo move looks very likely to happen, with Arne Slot approving the board to make a move for him and I think personal terms won’t be a problem in the deal.

Kubo can provide creativeness for Liverpool but if they need goals, they need to expect it from team mates of Kubo. Kubo played well in La Liga but moving to Premier League will give him a big challenge. With his small body, it will not be easy to play in this league. Takumi Minamino did not play well for Liverpool and this can be a warning for Kubo.
