Maybe PSG will try harder in this transfer market to bring in Rashford to fill the position left by Mbappe. Rashford has the qualities of a top striker if handled by the right coach, maybe in Enrique hands he can develop much more and be able to join the England national team squad again. Not being called up by Southgate to play for England at Euro 2024 is a big loss for Rashford, he must look for a new challenge with a more experienced coach to improve his sharpness again and maintain consistent performance.
Southgate has to be more selective in choosing players, he knows Rashford is a good player and deserves to be in his squad, but he has to make a choice in selecting players and Rashford is on Southgate's ignore list due to his inconsistent performance with Manchester United throughout this season.

However unless Manchester United finds a really reliable decent player for his position, I don't think they should sell him. It shouldn't be too difficult to find a skilled winger though. There are so many new talents out there. I hope that they have good scouts to find and convince them to come here. ten Hag's future is still ambiguous by the way. There is a trend of signing young coaches. If they sack ten Hag then maybe they can give a young coach a chance.

When money talks, everything that is impossible becomes possible. Surprises always come in the transfer market, clubs cannot resist the temptation when they receive a suitable offer for their player. Manchester United still needs players like Rashford, even though his performance this season has not helped the team much, he can still be relied on and has the ability to develop further.

PSG always tempts the players they are targeting with salaries that are higher than what the player receives with the club he plays for, this strategy is very effective and PSG does not experience the slightest difficulty even though they have to spend large amounts of money. The opportunity to play in the Champions League was also the reason for Rashford to accept the offer from PSG, especially since he was promised to fill the position left by Mbappe.

He can also win trophies easily with PSG, even though Ligue 1 is not as well known as the EPL, he can take advantage of the opportunity to play with PSG to increase his popularity. Manchester United must be careful if PSG is already looking at their players, it is very difficult to convince players to stay when they receive a more tempting offer.

Who is? Lol! That guy is not a footballer honestly, he should go play volleyball from next season because I don't even know what he has done to get a place in this current lineup. Amad Diallo and Garnacho should have been the winger's of the day but I don't know how Erik Ten Hag evaluates him on the training section

They should sell him, he is not bigger than the club. Garnacho can even and has done a better job in fewer minutes in the same position as Marcus Rashford.
It's one thing to sack Erik Ten Hag,it's another to sell off all these players and it's one thing to bring a manager who can compete with Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola. You can not just bring in a young manager to do another trail and errors.

I haven't seen a worthy replacement for Erik Ten Hag even though I don't want him to leave Manchester United. I wanted Hansi Flick but he has been up for the Barcelona job, asides him no other.

Rashford performance this season is certainly not as expected by Southgate, so indeed Rashford did not get a call to be able to defend England at the Euros later, actually so far Rashford is a player who always gets a place in the England squad but the decline in Rashford performance with Manchester United of course he has to give up his place in the squad for other players at this time,  I think it should be a warning for Rashford to improve his game again next season if he also does not want to lose the opportunity to play in the 2026 World Cup.

At the moment I think staying at Manchester United is not the right choice for Rashford as long as ten Hag is still the coach of the Red Devils, admittedly or not, ten Hag is not a coach who is able to develop players for the better and we can see how the current Manchester United players are performing whose level has actually decreased after being coached by Ten Hag, if we compare their performance is worse than when they played at their previous club,  Antony, Varane, Casemiro, Amrabat and Onana, weren't they the best players in their previous clubs?
In addition, Sancho is certainly a clear proof that ten Hag iS a coach who is difficult to develop the talent and performance of his players, when he was at Dortmund Sancho was great while at Manchester United he failed miserably and instead he could again have a great performance at this time Dortmund.

Well I think Rashford missing out of England’s squad while at Europe is a very big indication on the bad performance this season. Going forward, I think Rashford will have to up his game if he still wants to play on the international stage because now the competition in there is pretty much. ⁠Currently there are talks on what Rashford will have to, especially with the talks all about how ETH hasn’t been able to manage players especially at Man United.

 When you look at players like Varane, Casemiro, Antony and how they were performing in their former clubs, you’ll understand how true the criticisms on ETH ability to manage player is. Sancho while at Dortmund was one of the bright stars that we all thought will blossom, he moved to Man United and that shining light got dim and then his move back to Dortmund has put him back on the radar.

 Now I think it’s now clear, that ETH style could be unfavorable for the club and as such Rashford should be ready to part ways with the club. Rashford leaving for a better environment will be pretty cool as that will be able to help him boost up his career. He needs to go to a good club that will be able to help his style and pattern of play so as to help him get his form and return to the England squad.

They dropped the gap to one goal quite late that it wasn't difficult for Manchester United to defend them in the remaining minutes. Manchester City even scored that goal because of Onana's mistake. But Onana was still decent in general. Playing defensive and in counter-attacking style were good enough for Erik ten Hag to win the trophy.

They was compact in the first few minutes of the game as well as the entire game even as they scored those two goals. This is what happens whenever Erik Ten Hag plays with his best defenders. Too many criticisms which are no just correct and not fair.

Manchester City players made some errors, could it be as a result of beer 🍻 after the final game against West Ham United? Maybe Erling Haaland should have been awarded a penalty but they didn't get a call from video assisting referee.

That wasn't Andrea Onana's fault, you should be faulting Garnacho for not marking that ball very well. Do you what it means for that ball to go through that defense and he still made attempt to get the ball?

If you go back to my previous post, you'll see how I expressed Manchester United winning this game time after time. Congratulations to them. So many records broken today.

Well done for Man United on winning the FA Cup, but I don't think that's good enough for ten Hag to keep his manager's position.
This is the worst league position in 30 years, but at least they'll have a chance of playing in the Europa League next season, due to winning the FA Cup.
The Guardian has reported yesterday that ten Hag is on his way out and they named a few possible replacements:

There is really jubilation all over the world for such an outstanding performance from Man Utd. This win will go a long way in proving that Ten Haag might not be completely a bad coach. Two seasons in Man Utd with two trophies, that is not a bad record for the coach but it is looking like both the management and the fans wanted more. Perhaps they want to see Man Utd at the champions league every season like they used to in the past before Man City rose to fame and changed the sequence.

The match finally ended 1-2 with Man Utd winning the trophy. This win is a very bad one for Chelsea who celebrated their qualification for the EUFA Europa League next season but will be forced to go for the Conference League as Man Utd have automatically qualified for the UEFA Europa League because of this win. Man Utd actually played so well and deserve the win. The officiation was also perfect so Man City just have to accept defeat.

The game of the two teams was initially quite slow but after Manchester United managed to score the first goal in the game, the two teams began to increase the intensity of their game, Manchester United was initially doubtful to beat Manchester City because indeed this season Manchester United performance was very bad and even in recent seasons Manchester City was able to dominate the victory over Manchester United when meeting in the league,  So it is not surprising that before today final match, Manchester City is a team that is mostly favored by football fans, including me, who are quite sure Manchester City will beat Manchester United in FA final today.

Manchester City were able to dominate the match, but both teams had chances and shots on target that were quite balanced in the match, but today I quite salute the defense built by Manchester United which I think was quite successful in overcoming the pressure from Manchester City attackers throughout the game, I think their defense was quite solid if we compare it to their previous matches,   Manchester United today managed to win the FA trophy and regardless of whether or not Ten Hag was sacked this season but what is certain is that Manchester United will play in the Europa League next season through the FA champion path.

A lot of comments show some surprise and disbelief that Man City have lost the FA Cup, despite being huge favourite, forgetting that, for the major clubs, the FA Cup is simply not of high importance.

In this season, by winning it, Man City would only gain £1m more than they got for being the runner-up (the winner gets £2m, the runner-up £1m). And, of course, they'd need that extra £1m much more.

Erik ten Hag has spoken clear about his run at Manchester United so far. He pointed out his achievements meanwhile and that he was okay with continuing to win trophies somewhere else as well.

The man has a point there honestly. This is his 2nd trophy in his 2nd year with Manchester United. The first one was the English League Cup trophy and now he has achieved the FA Cup one against the toughest team in England. Isn't this a success you think? I think it's a quite decent success considering how inadequate squad this team has.

No matter who they bring to his position, I don't expect much change unless they make the right transfers this summer.

A season with just Arsenal and Manchester City going H2H would be a Little boring for me as well. I really don't know the fate of Chelsea as this point, as they are also bringing a new manager just like Liverpool. Don't know why Pochettino had to leave at this point in time when there is already a chemistry between himself and the boys. As for Liverpool FC, we might see lots of players taking the exit. I heard a rumor that Madrid are very much interested in Arnold, but I think Mo.Salah's departure is certain.

Let's just hope every team starts with a good form, so the season can be interesting.

Manchester City played better be than Manchester United with all due respect but Manchester United made good use of the first half chances they had.
All I wished was only if they had such solid defense at the start of the season. Having Lisandro Martinez helped break Manchester Cities defense with those in between pass and it hurt them deeply. Asides that, he was also effective in hunting down Erling Haaland same way Rudiger and Tchouameni do it.

I hate the fact that they want to bring Thomas Tuchel to Manchester United. This Jim Radcliffe has got to be dump. We can all see how Manchester United fans backed the manager but these people are sick fvcks who wants to do whatever they like.
In my head 3 finals in two seasons and two trophies in two seasons is enough to back up the manager.

Just like he said, he will leave if they have no such plans of backing him up next season. They will regret it if they sack him. This INEOS knows nothing. How well is Nice in League 1 Competition even doing?

Manchester City was overconfident in utilizing a high defensive line to cage United's attacks and this is a very wrong strategy used by guardiola in this game, that could play passively against united and maybe city could win but that's also goalkeeper's mistake. The biggest issue was Ortega's nervousness when his opponent approached and going even closer to him.. It was clear that Ortega did not have much confidence in this game and i think that if things have been changing so fast for him. His error enabled United to lead through Garnacho's goal.
It's simply a miscommunication between him and Gvardiol. I'm still not sure why Pep doesn't use four backs instead of three caused by using 4 backs is much more effective in order to strengthen city's defensive lines. Pep was overconfident, believing United was a weak opponent.

This is why Manchester United was able to increase their lead versus City with two goals and keep these momentum till the full time. Finally, United did not become a trophyless team this season. It is also headed to the Europa League.This is unfortunate since Newcastle has no place to play in European competition and it surprises me. Newcastle may sack its coach as soon as possible. Im still hoping a miracelt to happen with united.
Even Chelsea declined to join the Conference League.

I was really surprised by the result of this match. We considered Manchester City as favourites. Because Manchester United team was not in good form. And the performance of this group is very erratic. But Manchester United's win surprised us all in this match.

This machete is completely dominated by Manchester City players. Manchester City players had 74% of the ball possession. And made 19 shots in total. Even then, Manchester City could not return to the truck in the match.   Jeremy Doku scored a goal for Manchester City in the 87th minute.

Manchester United played a completely defensive strategy after scoring two goals.   In the second half I did not see any strong attack from Manchester United players.   Their main task was to repel city attacks. Ten Hag's match strategy helped defeat City in this match.
