Arsenal easily beat Slavia 3-0, no surprise here, they are very consistent this season and were a big favourite.
Tottenham wins against Copenhagen 4-0, scoring two of the goals while playing with 10 men.
And finally, Liverpool defeats Real 1-0, which puts the Reds in the 6th place in the UCL table. This win proves that Liverpool is back in the game and that the slight dip in form they experienced recently is probably behind them now. A well-deserved win. If not for Real's goalkeeper, it could've easily been a 3-0.

It's quite impressive how premier league teams perform when they compete outside their league, today's result isn't going to be any different, Manchester city are going to deliver and I'm sure of that because they are in a good form. From the looks of it the trophy will be won by one of the teams in the premier league this season, there's a high chance of that happening, I'm guessing either arsenal or Liverpool.

Big wins for arsenal and Liverpool as they put themselves very close in qualifying for the champions league knockout stage, honestly Arsenal have been very impressive this season in the league and in the champions league, they won today 0-3 even though it was a worthy opponent but they still go the job done.

I watched the Arsenal game against Slavia Prague and I think Arsenal are really serious about winning a major trophy this season. They go out to play every game with a lot of seriousness and they don't underestimate any team. I really like what Arteta has done with this team, they have got so much confidence when playing and they just believe they can win every game, which is a very good thing for the team.
I was also impressed the way Liverpool played yesterday and I am glad they won against Real Madrid even when nobody gave them a chance in the match, they won against all odd and this might be the winning they need to turn their season around. Congratulations to all the English team that won in the champions league yesterday.

Arsenal has consistently secured the second position in the points table in the past seasons, so this season they will have to try their best to win the league title. Arsenal is making good use of this opportunity that the big teams in the Premier League are not in a good rhythm. While other teams have irregular performances, Arsenal is seen to be performing consistently in the English Premier League. Arsenal is at the top of the points table with 25 points in 10 matches, with 8 wins, one draw and one defeat. Arsenal is still at number one in the points table with 6 points more than Manchester City, but Arsenal will have to try to maintain this performance. If Arsenal continues to perform consistently like this, then the long wait will end and Arsenal will win the league title.

United is doing fine, if they won the Nottingham game, they would have been 19 points and they looked like they almost could have, and with 19 points they would have been sharing the second place.

Obviously in football there are plenty of "what ifs" so there is no need to talk about that, but the fact that they were just one goal away from second place is the reason why I mentioned it, because this team was horrible up until like start of this year. That should be a good way for people to realize how great they have become. They are really good and I think we should consider them being great. We can't really focus on how they could get bigger and better, because this is probably their limit for right now.

Tonight, even by the 65th minute, Manchester City was already leading convincingly 3-0 with goals from Erling Haaland and a brace from Philip Foden. Although Manchester City's opponent this time wasn't a weak team, it was a strong Bundesliga team, Borussia Dortmund. Meanwhile, Newcastle United was also leading 2-0 against a fairly strong Spanish team, Athletic Bilbao, with goals scored by Burn and Joelington.

If you say that is there limit for now I disagree with that considering the level of investment made in that teams since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in may 2013 due to his retirement. It took Manchester united over one billion pounds to assemble there current squad, what then do you expect from a squad with such amount if not for constant winning and dominance like other teams in the league.
I think they need immediate improvement in there team spirit and not praises as we are giving to theme now.

Manchester United's current squad has all it takes to be crowned champions of England and even Europe as other teams are doing but fails because of reasons best known to them which all fans a pushing to know the mystery behind there poor performance

Seven goals in two matches is a prove that Manchester City is getting back to what they used to be in the last Three seasons ago. Let's see how Manchester City will fare in the rest of the season especially in the premier League because, they have not been that fantastic this season.

Unfortunately Manchester United couldn’t get a win against Nottingham forest, all they could get in the match was just 1 points. Manchester United had the opportunity to be at the top of the table right now but they missed it, they couldn’t win Nottingham forest and Manchester United position has dropped to 8th position on the table. Manchester United next match will be against Tottenham, I don’t really expect a win from Manchester United in the match, because Tottenham plays better than Manchester United right now. Since Tottenham lost to Chelsea, they will want to do everything possible to get a win against Manchester United which they might be able to achieve because Manchester United is playing poorly also.

Since Donnarumma's arrival at Man City, the club has become even stronger, especially in defense, compared to last season. Not only that, as usual, their front line remains strong, even more solid. Haaland remains very productive as a CF leader—no, he's a robot for scoring goals at Man City. Just look at the Premier League so far, Man City has only conceded 8 goals and has scored 20, the most in the Premier League.

And this time, they also managed to beat Dortmund in the Champions League, 4-1. And what's interesting is that, in addition to Haaland, this time, Phil Foden again caught everyone's attention, with his two goals against Dortmund. And we know, this season, Man City, everyone is getting much better and struggling more.

that win proves nothing, the only way I can be convinced that they are actually back in the game is their consistent winnings both big and small teams in the league and the UEFA Champions League then I can tell they are really back, but with that winning against Real Madrid absolutely proves nothing, I just believe it was a hard luck for Real Madrid, and Mbappe was not really in that game it was like a nightmare for Real Madrid and I was actually hoping for a draw in that game till that goal entered and even with that I was hoping Real Madrid would score back but it's quite unfortunate they ran out of luck.

Newcastle are doing well in the champions as they beat Atletico Bilbao 2-0 yesterday, now they need to bring this momentum to the premier league game this weekend.

Manchester city cruise pass Dortmond, it a good win for them. They will be playing against Liverpool in the league this weekend and it the most anticipated match in this premier league this coming weekend.

This is my probable Premier League parlay for the weekend.

Even though there are many games that ended without BTTS between them, I wanted to trust Tottenham and Manchester United both on it.

Chelsea should be fine with beating Wolves home. When it comes to the main event of the week, I feel like Liverpool won't lose. They started to show some ambition.

It's all due to the Hato's poor performance. Big L for him too. He made so many errors in this game. He's not UCL material, and not good enough to be a starting line up for the club. He must develop himself even better. If he doesn't created some troubles, Chelsea would be winning it.
He must be loaned to improve his performance.

Spent 2 billion by having him as a backline is a disaster. I know he's young, but this is UCL, not europa league or conference league.

Manchester City had a good game last night and I think they also outplayed Dortmund, which I was not very surprised because they are playing at home and I also think they are a better team.
Talking about getting back to their usual self is not far from the truth, because they have been consistent lately and they are also scoring goals which is a good thing for the team. Although I don't think they are at the same level they were few seasons ago, but they are doing better than the way they started the season.  They have a big match against Liverpool this weekend and we will see how they fare in that match. Congratulations to them anyways.

I'm more like team Liverpool now. At least I don't wait for them to lose although I know how difficult this match is.    Because they looked better in their last 2 fixtures. They won by not conceding which is the biggest improvement.

Arne Slot will need to focus on defending Haaland strongly. He just scores in almost every match this season. If they defend well then they can secure some points at Etihad.

Chelsea performance at the moment is quite disappointing both in the domestic league (Premier league) and the European competition. Their inconsistency made me to doubt them and I said it yesterday in one of my post here.

Let watch out how Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle United will represent the Premier league tonight. Chelsea has the weaker opponent compared to others but I have no faith in them like I have in others. What an irony! 

Every English team won their match in this round of champions league but Chelsea as usual draw their own match against a weaker team. It's clear now, Chelsea won't go far in this champion league and their performance in the Premier League is not better either. Tottenham was one team I perceived to be the weak one among the English team in the champions league but it turns out to be Chelsea.
