So, Liverpool team hasn't got any better. I was shocked when I returned home to see on the TV that Manchester city totally humiliated Liverpool even without a red card. When I saw the score line, I thought that a Liverpool player was actually red carded but it wasn't so.

You need to watch the replay of the match so that you can see for yourself how Liverpool was beaten hands down with able to score a single goal. I think this is more than being humiliated because their was no reverse attack to score which was disappointing how the Liverpool team has fallen to this extend. I hope to see improvement in their next matches.

What are you guys expecting from Liverpool before when is already obvious that they are up against a big club like Manchester City and considering Manchester City current conditions, it becomes very aggressive for them to handle so you guys should at least give Liverpool some credits for standing up to Manchester City for a while before their where finally defeated in the game.

Is this some sort of defending for Liverpool, do you forget in a rush that they are defending champions of the Premier League Competition and also that they spent too much money to be this bad in the league. Both defenders, attackers and new players added to the club are underperforming. It is not about Manchester City being in a good form but Liverpool floppy and the manager not doing enough to help his side get back to a goof form. The next game facing Newcastle should be interesting

What is defending champions without showing workings, at least they have to show us that they are defending champions by winning teams that people expected them to win and draw some that seems tough for them instead of losing. The fact that Manchester city defeated them was not bad the bad and annoying thing here is that they conceded 3 goals from Manchester city without even scoring at least 1, that is very embarrassing from a defending champions and I wish they wake up from their slumber early.

That was a well deserved win for Manchester City like I was certain that they could won the game but not with such margin I was actually expecting that game to be a both teams to score but it seems Liverpool is not getting any better after their mysterious in the league and the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid so I was like good at least they're back but was shocked on the result against Manchester City then I concluded that Arne Slot and his boys still got a long way to go after that much spendings in the transfer market it's quite a pity.

Liverpool is not a bad team. In fact, Liverpool won the league last season. And this season, Liverpool is even overflowing with expensive players. So, in terms of squad, Liverpool is a very luxurious team, but their coach, Arne Slot, hasn't been able to unite his star players into a high-class performance. In my opinion Liverpool changed too many players this year, and the new ones are not performing as they were expected to. At some points pep Guardiola’s performance dropped, but as we can see he is beginning to get things right again, Manchester city are currently in second position and they are behind Arsenal which is in first position with 4 points, they are already closing the gap that means Pep Guardiola is really up to something this season, he wants to win the premier league title this season again.

Let’s see how Manchester city will perform till ending of the season, but I won’t be surprise if Manchester city ends up taking over the first position from Arsenal, that’s pep Guardiola’s target right now, and from Manchester city performance they might be able to achieve that, I don’t trust Arsenal, they might end up performing poorly at the end.

One thing we’ve seen in the past is that 4 points gap is nothing to Pep Guardiola but we’re yet to fully believe he’s totally back into the game, they might go into the next game now and lose or draw such has been their performance in a while  and I believe Arsenal will be scared seeing it’s Manchester City that’s closely behind them. I hope this season they’re better prepared with stronger mindset and resilient to win the premiership trophy. They have a better team this time with good squad depth.

The question now isn't about the players, but whether Slot is capable of being a head coach and competing for major trophies. Last season, Liverpool essentially won without any competition – City sank, and Arsenal were Arsenal, so there were literally zero competition. There is no dispute that Liverpool bought the team at an overprice, but the players are not so bad that they could suffer 5 defeats in a row without any obvious, huge reasons (like injuries to half the squad). Liverpool have an easy fixture after the break: Nottingham - Westham - Sunderland, so they have a good chance to recover. But if they don't pick up at least seven points here, I'd start to doubt Slot.

Arsenal has a high chance of losing points again in their next match. This is because their next match will be a tough London derby against Tottenham Hotspur. Arsenal was only able to manage a draw against Sunderland, let alone against Hotspur. If Arsenal's performance remains the same as it was against Sunderland, it is clear that Arsenal will lose points again. This is a great opportunity for Manchester City to close the gap. However, the next match against Manchester City is also not an easy one, as Manchester City must away to Newcastle United's home ground.

Sunderland is a bit of a different story, but I'm not saying Liverpool has to take nine points. I think seven is the minimum. I haven't checked the odds yet, but I'm sure that against Nottingham and West Ham the odds will be such that there won't even be any point in betting without a handicap.

Regarding Arsenal's effective and not too expensive purchases, look at Victor Gyokeres, who only cost 60 million euros but contributed more than Liverpool players Alexander Isak, who cost 150 million euros, or Hugo Iketike. Or even worse, Florian Wrizt, who has not contributed any goals so far. And all three players I mentioned above are valued at over 100 million euros.

They're not going to find a solution "right now", that's not how things work in football. Some things take time; they had new, expensive sign-ups who need to adjust to the new playing style.
These types of performance problems indeed require patience rather than panic and hysterical reactions.
Man City went through it last season and it took a long time to get out of it. Similarily, Man United were probably close to sacking another manager, but they gave Amorim more time and it looks like the team finally started to deliver.
This is a highly competitive sport and the best league in the world. All it takes is one small thing not working right and it would get reflected in the results.

It's because the transfer market, especially the domestic market in England, is totally out of control. You see very average players changing teams for ridiculous amount of money, and they are clearly not worth it, but of course the fans have high hopes just because the team spent big bucks for them, but it doesn't work like that.

Sunderland continues to impress me with their performance. I myself never thought that the result of the match would be like this. I thought that maybe the match would not be a draw, maybe someone would win by 1-2 goals. But Liverpool could not even get close to Manchester City. Should I say Manchester City played very well or should I say Liverpool could not do anything? I am very confused about this matter. I never expected that Liverpool would lose by such a big margin and they would not be able to score a goal. When Liverpool won against Real Madrid I thought that maybe they have returned to form and from now on they will start playing as well as before. But I was very surprised to see this match.

Sunderland continues to impress me with their performance. Sunderland players are something else,I still don't understand how a team that got promoted from the Championship is on the title race for the trophy. Sunderland is a strong contender for the premiership title, although catching up on Arsenal wil be difficult but it's quite possible especially the Form Sunderland is on currently.

Why can't they compete if they are truly good?
We saw how Leicester city came from the English championship lower division to the premier league and with their form that year 2015 if am not wrong, and won the English premier league title with a convincing and consistent performance all through the season, so am not surprised by the form of Sunderland and the position they are occupying right now, if they are truly good, nothing can stop them because football is a game whereby if you are actually good, it will be very obvious for everyone, and if you are not good, the results will speak for itself, so if Sunderland is good enough to compete for the title, all I can wish them is good luck, because they are really surprising us this season.

Definitely question will be asked very soon from the board, and Liverpool always knows how to give managers time to settle and make the team to blend very well, when you spend so much money like Liverpool have spent and the manager have been given everything to deliver then I must say that as a team you have to play with full confidence to try and win games and win trophies, to who much is given, much is deserved as well.

I wouldn’t want to believe that Liverpool won the Premier League because other teams were not good enough, Liverpool was madly crazy last season, and have been playing a good football, and they were better than every team last season and Salah was in form and playing crazy football, things like this happens to teams, when you been this players and they needs time to settle into the team, so it’s not really the players fault, and the manager should be blame for such a poor performance.

The next fixtures are games Liverpool should win on papers, and if the manager doesn’t get results from this game, then I must say he doesn’t deserve to be given that opportunity to take this team forward, and question will be asked about him right now.
