It took after eight penalties each to separate Arsenal and Crystal Palace. Arsenal will be meeting Chelsea in the cup semifinals and it will be interesting.
Arsenal should have won the game in the first half but Crystal Palace goal denied them. Second half was equal but saw the team share two goals and went into penalties for more entertainment because it too eight penalties to find a winner.

Arsenal has a strong squad, but I don’t know why they always struggle to beat Crystal Palace. Their last Premier League game against Crystal Palace was a narrow victory by one goal. In the Carabao Cup, they were leading by one goal in the second half before conceding a last minute goal to draw the game. They were lucky to win the penalty shootout, otherwise, it would be very disappointing for Arsenal to be eliminated from this tournament by Crystal Palace.

However, Arsenal fails to produce the energy to believe that they can win every trophy this season, they should not be struggling to win games as a club that is ready to compete for every title this season. They will face Chelsea in the semifinals, and despite that football is unpredictable, I believe Chelsea will beat Arsenal. I’m not sure Arsenal will make it to the final.

I am not interested in betting on Manchester united matches. This team's performance is very inconsistent. Even in the last two matches  they failed to win against Aston villa and bournemouth. Their overall performance was quite good. They failed to get points only because of their weak defense.

I remembered when exact thing happened when they played with Sunderland at Emirate stadium and the match ended 2-2 which destroyed the bets of many people. Yesterday also, they did the same thing and made me and millions of other players lose money too. Arsenal defense was known for their outstanding defending but these dying minutes goals is showing the inefficiencies in the defense. I know that the absence of Gabriel Jesus in most of those matches was during the time of his injury. Arteta need to do something about this if they still want to go for the trophy this season.

It really is impossible! I agree with Amorim's statement. Because there is literally nobody in the squad to fill his place as strong as him now. Considering that he has performed great recently too they will feel his absence a lot.

We might even be watching him in the Premier League in his final season. Who knows maybe he will prefer to leave for Saudi Arabia or somewhere else. He loves this team but I can't say the same thing for the current owners.

Now you have helped me by making the point yourself as why I proscribed them as a mediocre team which I as well don't mean to disrespect them, but Aston villa ain't in the race for title but just to maintain at least a good position that can take them to either the UCL or europa league. What stops them to contending for title as a team like Manchester United if we're to be at that performance and position would have done. Nevertheless,  I  didn't mean to say that Manchester United are struggling due to Aston villa's uprising in the last two seasons.

The difference is that United should be making more money and should be spending more money and should be able to defeat teams like Aston Villa normally. I get that they may have lost here, but that doesn't change the fact that they are not getting the wins they want and United ends up playing lesser than the finances that they have. If they keep this up and keep on getting bad results then I am afraid they will miss all of UEFA competitions again, even maybe conference league. That will not be easy for them because with the amount of money they are spending, they should be at least in UCL.

Aside aiming on winning the league at the start of the season I think Manchester United aim was also on making effort to at least finish in the top 4 to qualify for the UCL next season so they can play in Europe. Hence the big spending on acquisition of players in the persons of Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, and Matheus Cunha to boost the teams strength for the season. Unfortunately, all that spending has reflect so much in their results and position on the table.

We are missing an important statistic. Newcastle have won four of the last five Manchester mnited vs Newcastle matches. Manchester United have only managed to win one match. Manchester united's past record against Newcastle is not good.

Newcastle are  not in good form this season, it is true. They are 11th in the points table. But are Manchester united in good form ? United's performance is very  inconsistent. They themselves do not know which matches they will perform well in. They have  not been able to win in the last two matches either. So there is no doubt that united vs newcastle match will be very competitive. But I can not consider manchester united as the favorite. Both have equal chances of winning.

Arsenal performance was not as expected, they have good aggressive approach, but their defence completely failed to create any impression, 2 goals scored by Crystal Palace, this was problem with them, they have done good job.

After having draw in regular time it's gone till 8 penalties for having result of this game. In first half, Arsenal was in complete control, and they never allowed Crystal Palace to have any good time, but they also failed to end deadlock in second half still it took 35 minutes for first goal and visitors done equalizer in injury time, but they failed on 8th penalty. Now four big teams in semifinal with Chelsea vs Arsenal and Newcastle United vs Manchester City. It's going t be entertaining matches for cup.

Carabao Cup results last night was one cracker of a game, one moment Arsenal are leading and showing Palace how it's done and before the end of the match Crystal Palace pulled one back to show the world how stubborn they can be to force a penalty shootout, and now that Arsenal went through this means more commitments to play in several leagues and hope players won't be exhausted to the extent of losing sight of the pole position in the EPL.

They are now 13th in the premier League while Nottingham forest are 17th in the premier League. We will see more drama in the coming games and congratulations to Fulham for this grab victory. Fulham will face West ham next while Nottingham forest will be facing Manchester City next, Nottingham forest needs to work hard in their next game against Manchester City for have more chances of coming up in the table

The difference between these 2 teams is only 3 points. Newcastle are better in defense but it's vice versa as for offense. As a reminder Newcastle missed a big chance to defeat Chelsea last week. 2-2 from 2-0... 

While Manchester United are having tough days in defense I wouldn't trust them to win this hard match. Instead what about betting on BTTS? It looks safer to me truthfully. 1.53 for that while 2.50 for Manchester United to win. Make your choice...
