The match between Arsenal and Brighton has started, and the first half is getting to an end. Arsenal is currently leading with one goal, which was scored by Odegaard. Arsenal have been the dominant team. In fact, Brighton are playing below my expectations, based on the way some people were rating them. But now, the way I am seeing the match, Arsenal will be able to take all three points because they are the better team.What really surprises me is that Brighton have not gotten any shots on target, while Arsenal have had about four shots on target. If the match continues like this, Arsenal will add more goals, and it will be difficult for Brighton to score even a goal. But let’s watch out for the second half, as we are at the end of the first half.

The second half has started & Arsenal are currently leading by 2 goals, Arsenal's second goal was an OG from Brighton striker (Georginio Rutter), I can't understand how a striker made an OG, because it should be the work from goalkeeper or defender. During the 60 minutes, Brighton finally had a shot on target. They need to increase their shooting efforts if they want to increase their chances of scoring (IMO). With 2 goals lead, I think Arsenal will 100% take all three points in this match.

The win was definitely incredibly important for United. Newcastle may not be great but they are still not a bad team, not only that but United was missing a bunch of players Bruno Fernandes, Mainoo, Mbeumo, Diallo, Mazroui, all of them were out and some for them are key figures for their wins.

So, getting a win out of this was insanely important. They are fifth now with one game in hand, obviously they will go down a bit, so many teams around them, but they are tied with fourth place so if Chelsea loses, which I doubt they will, they could be same points.

Beyond the predictions of many analysts regarding Manchester United's victory, I also did not expect that the favorite team could win with so many players missing from the lineup, especially given the public's confidence in Newcastle's excellent performance.

Manchester United's victory is very meaningful for us and for Manchester United. Although they briefly dropped to fifth place in the standings because Liverpool now leads Wolves, forcing Manchester United to return to their rightful position, it can strengthen Manchester United's motivation to face Wolves on December 31.

Hah, I guess both you and me are proven wrong, as Arsenal has an early lead and look like a much better team for now. Still plenty of game left to be played though, and anything can happen, especially since Arsenal defense is not as convincing as it was at the start of the season.

Yea, Odegaard got a wonderful goal and they got another own goal today. A two goal lead already in the 60mins+ of the game. Now getting a win isn't the only thing possible, a clean sheet is also very possible even with the not so solid defence like the beginning of the season.

Manchester City struggled quite much today even though they managed to win 2-1. Guardiola couldn't apply his usual game plan most of the time.

Forest fought back quite nicely. But they couldn't handle Cherki. He had a spectacular match with a goal and an assist. He is a really good transfer for Manchester City.

This is one thing I hate about boxing day, when you expect a team to win boom comeback is on by the other team, come on Manchester City you can't let Nottingham to steal this one when we need you to put Arsenal under pressure! FYI Arsenal has an easier fixture so you Cityzens better wake up while things are looking good for now

Boxing Day was yesterday man not today. That was why I got very disappointed with the Premier League that day because of having only one match.

Today there are four matches that caught my attention:Nottingham Forest against Man City, Arsenal against Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool against Wolves, and Chelsea against Aston Villa. These matches broke my commitment to avoid betting until New Year so I could take the rest, so I decided to place the bets anyway. Conveniently, the first match in the lineup is Nottingham Forest versus Man City, so I placed a bet on a Man City win… and from there, we’ll see how it goes.

Both Manchester City and Asernal game is a straight winning ticket for me today, this is one of the most easy and convenient games lineup for this season and we can see that most of the big clubs are up against weaker clubs so we can expect a lot of goal, so even if we don't want to give any club outrightly winning chances, we can say there will be multiple goals in the match.

Manchester City won 2-1 against Nottingham Forest. Although we expected City to win easily. But the match was very competitive. It was not easy for City to secure the victory. City players were under a lot of pressure, especially after the equalizer against Nottingham Forest. Cherki's goal in the 83rd minute of the match gave Manchester City the lead. Despite not completely dominating the match, City's performance was steady enough and they managed all 3 points.

Arsenal are leading 2-0 against Brighton. They don't want to drop any points in home matches. So Arsenal continued to dominate from the start of the match. The most interesting thing is that so far Arsenal's players have managed to make 18 shots, while Brighton's players have made only two shots.

The score is now 2-1. This is a narrow score for Arsenal. Overall, Brighton could have scored more goals in this situation and ended in a draw. I agree with you that Arsenal's defense isn't as solid as it was at the start of the season. They're now easier to penetrate. This is quite dangerous going forward. If their defense isn't improved and restored to its original state, this season's title could be snatched by another team.

They must win this match because Manchester City has already won their match. If they lose, the points gap will be even closer, and their hopes will be slimmer.

Martin Odegaard's incredible goal is a testament that class is permanent. Since got injured and Arsenal had been performing well without his presence, a lot of people have been of the opinion that Arsenal doesn't need him that much again but I had a different view to the issue. I'm glad that he's come on this afternoon to stamp his importance in the Arsenal set up and instrumental his presence will be to Mikel Arteta as they continue their quest to remain at the top of the English Premier League table.

Diego Gomez has scored the first goal for Brighton in 66 minute and now it's 2-1. Arsenal need to remain on their toes for remaining 24 minutes, if they want to grab 3 points from this game. Earlier Man City won their game against Forest and in case gunners had a draw against Brighton then both Man City and Arsenal have 40 points after week 18. Due to Georginio Rutter OG, Arsenal still in winning position but they need to score one more goal to secure their victory otherwise a goal from Brighton will draw the game.

It's important to achieve consistent success. They did very well in the first half of the league in every competition and they must maintain this consistency in the second half. They also had a very good season last year, but they were eliminated in the semi finals of the cups and finished second in the league. This season, they seem quite eager to win the cup(s).

Brighton's performance in the first half was very poor. I did not  see any strong attacks from the brighton players. But in the second half, they are performing quite well. After Gomez scored a goal in a brighton shirt, Brighton regained their momentum and started to dominate the match. As a result, the match  has become very enjoyable. Even  after  85 minutes, Arsenal is still leading 2 -1. Arsenal is now playing somewhat defensively. They want to finish  the match 2-1  at all costs. If Arsenal fails to secure three points from  this match, they  will lose their top spot in the table. manchester city won their last match against Nottingham Forest. So, to remain at the top of the table, arsenal must secure three points.

Dorgu scored his first club goal, but the goal is not even a shocker to me... It's the fact that he scored at the right time his club needed it the most. Do you know how it feels to show up like the "Messiah" for your club? History has a long-standing memory, and he's been made part of it. Newcastle had their chances to have made an equalizer for that match; imagine if the volley from that outside shot went it, instead of hitting the cross bar.
Šeško's performance was very disappointing.. I've never seen a striker as confused as he is. That being said, I understand he's still growing and will definitely improve his games with time.

Manchester United perform well against Newcastle and to be honest I did not expect that kind of performance from Manchester United because Bruno is injured and he has been the best player in the squad and it looks like Manchester United can not win match without him, the formation Ruben Amorim use yesterday shows that he should change his formation if he wants to succeed in Manchester United but Amorim is very stubborn, he will not change his formation when the players are back.

All Manchester United players played well and I like the way everyone turn up to help the team, it was just a one goal in the match but Manchester United get the 3 points that they need in order to keep their chances of playing another competition apart from Premier League, Manchester United players prove that they can play well with 433 formation, so everything depends on what Amorim will chose to play.

Arsenal can aim to achieve everything while they are having their golden times lately. They have a right to do so.    However will they really make it especially in one of the PL and CL at least? That's the question...

Today they dominated the first half by not even letting Brighton have a single goal attempt. But the second part of the match was completely different. Brighton made them big difficulties after scoring.

Consistency is important on the road to the title. By the way Gyökeres didn't surprise us with his uselessness again.

Despite the Brighton’s push and effort, Arsenal won the match by 2-1, the match was really tough, but Arsenal’s defense is becoming stronger than it was in their two previous matches because most of their defenders are getting better now and in two or three matches to come, they will be balance and maybe start keeping clean sheet again.
Arsenal’s start defender, Gabriel Manghales has been brought into the game in the 71st minutes alongside Jesus, I can see Arsenal fans reaction towards them coming in because they really missed this players.

As it stands, Arsenal maintain their standings on top of the Premier League table with two points lead after this win, this show that they are still confident to keep going above Manchester City and can win this title this season.

I think it would’ve been better for him to keep quiet and stop talking on the sidelines and keep talking on the pitch, the season is a long way to go so he should better be playing well, else when he keeps talking people will act like they’ve not heard anything from him until he looses the Premier League and end up not winning anything again, the Champions League is a tough situation for them, if they want to focus on winning the Champions League and Premier League, it will be very difficult for them, because I have looked at the Arsenal team and there is weakness in the team, and Arsenal have been win games by one goal margin, and if care isn’t taking they will be dropping points very soon before they will know it, Manchester City must have taken the 1st position.

Anyways I feel very bad for Arsenal because they are lacking that prolific finisher like Haaland and that could actually cause them the Premier League Title.

Manchester United won yesterday, but it was a very tough game. In the first half, a Newcastle player hit the crossbar. And in the last minutes of the match, Newcastle had the initiative but couldn’t score. Now United have moved up to fifth place in the table.

Today the league leaders Arsenal and Manchester City will play. I don’t think there will be a big win, because both teams will play cautiously and try to save their energy, since they have to play three matches over the next week.     

Manchester United football team played very well in the last match because they did one goal in this match and opponent team could not do any goal in this match and match was ended with result of 1-0 . Dorgu was a person who did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 24 minutes when it was need of the team. The shots of Newcastle United football team were more in this match and these were 13 and 2 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was excellent in this match and that was 66 percent in this match. The passes of that team were more in this match And these were 603 because they hold the ball for more time And pass accuracy of that team was 90 percent in this match. Newcastle United football team could not do any goal in this match which was very bad for that team. The shots of Manchester United football team were 10 And 3 shots were on target.

Manchester United's past record against newcastle was not good. Also, Manchester United's performance was quite erratic. Even then, they were able to get three points in this match against Newcastle.

Many will criticize Manchester United's performance. However, I am satisfied with their performance. Amorim's target was to keep the defense strong. In the past few matches, Manchester united failed to win due to weak defense. And in this match, Amorim kept his defense strong. As a result, despite a lot of efforts, Newcastle players  could not score any goals. If Amorim is able to keep his defense stable like this, then I am sure Manchester united's performance will be consistent in the upcoming matches as well.
