Congratulations to Manchester United on their winning yesterday against Newcastle United to me it was not a surprise but to many it was  quite a surprise, I was like telling people that Manchester United had a record that has been for decades now the record of not losing a home game on boxing day that record actually gives me enough confidence of betting on Manchester United straight winning and indeed it continues, like on a normal days I don't think Manchester United can play Newcastle United with such squad yesterday, but everything just happened like a magic to those that was actually having a hard time to believe Manchester United could won the game.

indeed it was an unexpected win from Mancester united, they played a professional game against Newcastle so that totally debunks the whole narrative about them being lucky, they actually earned that goal, it wasn't scored as a result of luck. I wasn't really satisfied because they couldn't score multiple goals, I guess they were comfortable with just a goal difference because Newcastle weren't really much of a challenge

Today Liverpool weren't convincing enough. Not even a clean sheet and struggled quite much to keep the advantage on themselves. Wolves had an xG over 1.00 but wasted their chances.

However they might still stay in top 4 depending on Chelsea. Now there is a game ongoing between Chelsea and Aston Villa. I wish Maresca's club a good game and a win for them. Go Blues! 

A competitive match is underway between Arsenal and Brighton we all know that Arsenal is the team with the most points so far this new season. So in this context it is clear that Arsenal will be the favourites to win today's match but now it appears that today's game is likely to be very competitive, because  after 73 minutes, the score line between the two teams is 2:1, although Arsenal is ahead.

The Brighton Football team is showing great progress in this game at the Emirates Stadium and they are trying to achieve a good result against the top points-earning team. Brighton are a bit disappointed because their team's Rutter scored an own goal, so it seems to me that this goal has reduced their chances of a draw from today's game.

In fact it was one sided at first. For the first 45 minutes I should say. But I really didn't like Arsenal in the later time period... Brighton really could have made a comeback. Still of course a win is always a win!

Manchester United coach has a pattern and it seems that that pattern will keep him for long time in the Manchester United team because if you look at his performance you will think that he is improving why in the reasons he is actually not doing much. I have seen Fabrizio post that Amorim has played 7 matches without a lose. That sounds great right? But look at the position of Manchester United on the table, are they supposed to be there? They should be in the top 4, no excuses.

One funny thing is that people are measuring the performance of Amorim with the recent condition of Manchester United, forgetting how great Manchester United used to be in the past. The current squad of Manchester United is supposed to make them compete for the title honestly.

The second half has started & Arsenal are currently leading by 2 goals, Arsenal's second goal was an OG from Brighton striker (Georginio Rutter), I can't understand how a striker made an OG, because it should be the work from goalkeeper or defender. During the 60 minutes, Brighton finally had a shot on target. They need to increase their shooting efforts if they want to increase their chances of scoring (IMO). With 2 goals lead, I think Arsenal will 100% take all three points in this match.

Diego Gomez has scored the first goal for Brighton in 66 minute and now it's 2-1. Arsenal need to remain on their toes for remaining 24 minutes, if they want to grab 3 points from this game. Earlier Man City won their game against Forest and in case gunners had a draw against Brighton then both Man City and Arsenal have 40 points after week 18. Due to Georginio Rutter OG, Arsenal still in winning position but they need to score one more goal to secure their victory otherwise a goal from Brighton will draw the game.

The game later ends in favour of Arsenal which is 2-1 and this has help them to maintain their first position in the table with 42 points and Manchester City having 40 points and it came as a result of the own goal by Gerginio Rutter. It's a good one for Arsenal,it shows how determined they are in lifting this trophy this season.

The both games ended 2:1 in victory of Arsenal the league leaders and Liverpool too. It wasn't easy for both teams as they faced pressure from there opponents. The Arsenal was even more tensed as Arsenal try to keep up with there 2 points lead after they saw Manchester city win there match earlier against Forest. Of course, any draw or loss would make Arsenal drop from the top and straight to second place while Manchester will take over.

For Arsenal, it was a fight for defence, and they did. The premier league is becoming tough as every point will be so crucial and nobody would want to loose. We await next week actions and see how it goes. Enough action still remains, we keep watching

Now getting a win isn't the only thing possible, a clean sheet is also very possible even with the not so solid defence like the beginning of the season.

You jinxed them man, they just conceeded a goal.

This actually cracked me up. I'm not a Gunner fan, infact a rivalry fan from the best London club, Chelsea.

While it would have been more funny if they lose some points, they conceding is still okay, after all it shows they ate no longer invisible like about a month or so where they didn’t concede or even saw opponents getting shots on target against them.

What a first half from chelsea, it has been a one sided game since the whistle was blown, the way  Chelsea are playing if you don’t know you will think they are challenging for the title. Aston Villa have been able to produce nothing so far from this game, no shot or even a shot on target. When Chelsea play at home it always does different. After that dramatic draw last week from St. James park they needed a huge result at home and that exactly what they are doing in this game.



Aston Villa winning streak is at steak and the way they are playing I don’t think they will be able to produce anything in this game unless their second half improve. Well so far it been very interesting especially as a chelsea, I really hope I see more of the same in the second half.

After being undefeated for so long, it seems to me that Aston Villa is facing defeat today as we can see when watching the game today that Chelsea are leading 1-0. In this game, Brazilian-born Joao Pedro added to the excitement of the match by scoring in the 37th minute, at this stage we can say that after the break in this game, the Aston Villa team will probably enter the field with a hunger to win. If the Blues can maintain their morale and come away with a win against Villa, the gap between the two teams will be just one point as a result Chelsea will move slightly ahead in terms of points.

If Aston Villa lose points in today's match, then they can definitely move away from their position. However, we can see that Chelsea are playing well to improve their position, if they are eligible to collect full points in today's match, it will be very beneficial for them. And if this match is drawn, then it will not be beneficial for Chelsea at all, the way Chelsea is attacking, it seems that they may try to score more goals in the remaining time. Chelsea have 70% of the ball in their possession and they are attacking enough, Aston Villa's defense is very good, they have become good competitors. These two teams are currently in the third and fourth positions of the point table, in that case, the team that can collect full points in today's match will be able to stay ahead, and will be able to compete for the EPL title.

My friend Liverpool don’t need to be convincing enough what they need is to win their matches, they desperately need all three points and they got it that is all that matters. Liverpool are trying and they’re improving even if they’re grinding it out and today Florian Wirtz got on the scoresheet that’s a plus for them.
Right now they’re sitting pretty at 4th no matter the outcome of Chelsea game and even now the Chelsea you praised and cheered is playing a draw and might even lose.
Arsenal performed well today and they are giving champions vibe I wish they succeed.

I think Manchester United really left the many in surprise to make their win possible against Newcastle United. Because Manchester United is not in the form of representing themselves in a better way or they were not good in their previous performances. And it is necessary for them to have the best and do the best for a better reputation in the future. But in this match New Castle United were very aggressive and energetic. But Manchester United were not seen at that energy level they should be. I think this goal which Manchester United scored Newcastle United scored was based on luck. Manchester United should take their matters seriously so they can re-build themselves in a better version. And they have to represent such sides where they are able to make their past bad image blind.

Arsenal are determined to win the league but they must fight till the end Manchester City is never giving up Arsenal also shouldn't stop winning games if they want to win trophy, Arsenal shouldn't also allow Manchester City to go ahead of them for it will be difficult for Manchester City to go second after going to the top but which ever way either Manchester City or Arsenal will lift the English premier league tittle this season.

I think it would’ve been better for him to keep quiet and stop talking on the sidelines and keep talking on the pitch, the season is a long way to go so he should better be playing well, else when he keeps talking people will act like they’ve not heard anything from him until he looses the Premier League and end up not winning anything again, the Champions League is a tough situation for them, if they want to focus on winning the Champions League and Premier League, it will be very difficult for them, because I have looked at the Arsenal team and there is weakness in the team, and Arsenal have been win games by one goal margin, and if care isn’t taking they will be dropping points very soon before they will know it, Manchester City must have taken the 1st position.

Anyways I feel very bad for Arsenal because they are lacking that prolific finisher like Haaland and that could actually cause them the Premier League Title.

Saliba is confident that Arsenal is aiming for all trophies,and his confident may be due to Arsenal strong performance and how excellent they have been playing in competitions. Arsenal may not be in your favourite list because you aren't satisfied with their performance I believe every team has a weakness and not just arsenal, yet they have been organize,makes it difficult to spot their weakness. Arsenal has won very few matches by one goal margin which isn't weakness but it's was simply how tough they opponents were. Arsenal has good strikers and I feel Manchester City may have difficulty depending on haaland in the coming matches because depending on one striker is risky.

Well don't speak too soon because as it stands they have already turned the game around and collected the three points from Chelsea and are currently now in the same point with Manchester City. Aston Villa have really shown that they mean serious business in this year title race and as it stands now all the pressure will be mounting on arsenal now especially with the way Manchester City have been performing, if they make any silly mistakes the top position will be taken away from them immediately.

It was quite a surprising end, seeing that Aston Villa where able to not just equalise but also end up winning the game. And it was quite a good start from Chelsea in terms of possession and aggression, to win the match, but they did not keep that pressure through out the match, and it's was not a good one, even their only goal was set piece, to clearly show you that their performance after the first few minutes was not impressive.

Meanwhile it was a good one from Aston Villa, not being afraid but pushing to win Chelsea, and that they did achieve.

Regardless of how poorly Liverpool performed in that match, I'm definitely happy with the final score. Liverpool won the match and ultimately managed to claim 4th place in the league standings. Chelsea lost to Aston Villa - this gives us a chance to stay in 4th place for longer. I know it's not time to celebrate yet - even with a 3-point lead, I think the hardest thing will be maintaining consistency. Three consecutive wins are a good sign - but Liverpool still need to improve.

Two steps ahead - Liverpool must win their next 2 matches before away to Arsenal's home ground. Of course, this won't be an easy match – Leeds and Fulham are not teams to be underestimated, but I'm starting to have higher expectations after 3 consecutive wins.

11 wins in a row for Aston Villa in all competitions, 8 in the Premier League. Honestly, who could've expected Villa to be capable of that? And we're not talking about wins against weak teams, that winning run includes teams like Arsenal, Man United and now Chelsea.
This positions Aston Villa in the 3rd place, with a pretty big, 7-point buffer separating them from 4th Liverpool. If they manage to defend this position till the end of the season, this would be their best Premier League place since 1992/93.
I still believe there was a lot of luck involved in this incredible winning run, including today's game against Chelsea, where I think a split of points would be a fairer result, but, nevertheless, Emery and his squad deserve all the credit.
