What? For real? i cant believe if they really call again Ole Gunnar to take care of the team, no matter if it is only for a few months, damn man this Manchester United management is more than a disaster.

Aside of it i dont know who wants to take charge of this team right now, is not gonna be an easy task to make them great again.

It seems they really don't want to have a long process. They want it like instant noodles, cooked quickly and ready to eat. Yes, I just read it on social media. Amorim has some problems with player transfers. Management does not always fulfill Amorim's wishes regarding the players he needs. Like the striker transfer at Man United—Amorim wanted Watkins, but Man United's scouts chose Sesko. Didn’t Man United learn from Arsenal? If I’m not mistaken, after Wenger left, Arsenal didn’t make drastic changes regarding their coach. Arsenal remained loyal to Arteta. The result today, even though they failed during certain periods, is that they consistently performed well.

No one can provide the right answer if the roles of coaches, staff, and other positions in a club cannot be carried out according to their respective responsibilities.
Even if there is a great coach in the world who is always lucky with the team he coaches, when he comes to Old Trafford but his room for maneuver is limited because the club's top brass does not give him full rights over what I call his respective roles, it will not work either. In 13 years, 10 coaches have come and gone without any impact.
What else can be done, since the one who holds the reins of a club is the majority shareholder.

I think Amorim was given too much patience. But sending him away was the right decision. Manchester United's management did the right thing. Now they need to make another right decision and find a good coach to replace Amorim. There are plenty of available coaches on the market, but choosing the one that fits ManU isn't easy. I saw the news of Manchester United sacking their manager Ruben Amorim on Fabrizio Romano's wall when i was scrolling through facebook, and i believe the news was 100% authentic because when it comes to football news, Fabrizio Romano is one of the persons that post real news. Manchester United appoints their former player Darren Fletcher as their interim coach for the time being. Manchester United is now following Chelsea's footsteps in sacking their coaches up and down. I pity the coach Manchester United will sign next because he will be the next victim at Manchester United.

Was wondering who they were going to appoint as their temporary manager in such short time. In the Premier League they begun playing games early in the week and not just closer to the weekends all the sudden.
As for today we have several matches and then Manchester United facing Burnley tomorrow.
So they will see what Fletcher can do under such pressure til they can find themselves a new head to manage the team.

Festive fixtures are still continuing I assume. Because we have games during the week once again. We start with a West Ham - Forest game today.

This is a game that West Ham really need to win otherwise Nuno Espírito Santo is close to getting sacked they say. They are the underdogs at home according to the odds but let's see... I think they will win one way or another honestly.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer was being discussed only as a care taker. Well maybe after finalizing that fletcher will take over till the end of season they would have a better time see who will be the best person for the job. Amorim reign at Manchester United have been one of the poorest as the club manager, they could even barely record a 30% of win rate during his time.

Well I think probably a new coach could change things, you never can tell. This is an era where where the owners of the club want to play a direct role rather than just the finances of the club and that have been the problem of both Manchester United and Chelsea.

To me I think the managers should be let to do their jobs and no owners interference, just like the old good days. Well will see before the season ends who his the option the owners will choose as even crystal palace current head coach is also considered.

That's how they always try to start, from caretaker, they perform okay and when they get the job... three seasons without a trophy, I feel Ole Gunnar is not the right man for the job right now,  at this point, they need a coach that would not only compete actively for top spot as EPL champions but also bring there name up as one of the biggest teams in Europe, although Ole stats was better than Amorim's while he was the Man United manager, the inability to win anything is a problem that cannot be over looked, hope they find a better manager because fans are getting impatient about this management.

Amorim hasn't shown any signs of improvement since he's been in the squad but with the improvements from last season and the start of the season this should be a good progression even if they have been disrupted in recent games.

This dismissal could be a tricky situation where the transition happens again and what happens in the future could be even worse.
After a series of coaches trying out at Manchester United, the next victim of this drama is Amorim and we will wait to see who else will be the next victim of Manchester United lol.

Hopefully, you're right. I'm also thinking the way you did. Forest was at 17th, while Westham at 18th. Both of clubs were terrible, but i rated westham is far worst than NFFC. It seems to me Forest is gonna win it. Their opponent is just recently terminating callum wilson's contract. So no more him in the upcoming game.
As far as i know Wilson has been one of their best performer this season. Playing without him obviously weakening Westham. So it's opportunity for Forest to grab three points.

It's hard to believe this match is gonna be goalless. Both clubs to score, but Forest win.

Nottingham Forest are slightly favored because they sometimes show good games, but West ham also has home advantage. It is difficult to guess the winner and it is also difficult to choose the option of both teams scoring goals. The main event is obviously Arsenal vs Liverpool.

Arsenal are seriously favourites by bookies though. While Liverpool are this unreliable with their performance I'm not surprised with that. However I wouldn't bet on Arsenal here at these odds.

Instead I'd prefer goal betting. BTTS, over 2.5 goals... These are the ones coming to my mind first for this game. I hope not to watch a boring game. If Ekitiké doesn't play again then Liverpool might struggle more about scoring.

I totally agree with you I think the worst mistake Manchester united management did this season was to sack Ruben Amorim because over few seasons  Amorim was the only coach that has performed well. Eric Ten Hag did absolute nothing and when Manchester united wanted to sign Amorim, the way they talked about the man I was feeling he will turn everything around for Manchester united for good so easily but it is clear that the  team problem was more than him but I think he would have improve if they keep him for long.

I think it would seal the deal and fans will not accept anything but the owners selling the club. There was a 10 billion offer for the team already, they should just give it up and sell the club. Because Ole could be probably the worst decision they could make, there are a dozen better free agent managers out there at the moment that would be better than Ole.

Do you think that the ownership of Manchester United is terrible than the ownership of Chelsea? If it was Chelsea that appointed Ruben Amorim for the past 18 months, I believe he would have been sacked for a long time, they sacked Maresca, who brought a lot of changes to the team, he led the team to win the Conference League and the Club World Cup trophy, but he was still sacked at the end of the day, because of their recent performance.

Ole Gunnar Back to Manchester United? I don’t think that is a good idea, perhaps the team should hire a different manager for now, the last time he coached Manchester United, the team did not allowed him bring in any player of his choice, the problem with Manchester United is not just the manager, but they need to buy more players who can convert their chances into goals.

Sorry if this appears as a noob question but does it really matter to the club what their fans think about the club owners decision? Like if the owners of the club possibly decided to hand over the coaching of the players to Ole as being speculated, does it matter to the club owners or managers how the fans feel and react to this decision.?

Asking because to the best of my knowledge, being a fan does not make one a Stake holder in the club, worst come to worst, a fan can stop supporting and look for other club to start supporting? Does fans have the power to force the owners or management of Manchester united club to sell the club?

This is the closing match of matchday 21, it's quite interesting how the premier league chose this big match as the finale. Arsenal are strong favorites here even I don't quite believe it when checking the bookmakers, they give odds of 1.58 vs 5.60, very juxtaposed, as if arsenal are playing with a mid-table premier league team. Somewhat understandable but should the bookmakers give such odds to Liverpool? For me personally though picking an outright win for arsenal is safer but for a game of this magnitude, x1.58 is a bit disappointing.

Yes he did well but his team rotation partner is affecting the team negatively, a good coach do not change a winning team and that is what he is good at doing, so he is also having differences with his players

When they finished 15th last season, they should have sacked Amorim. They waited way too long, all those people who keep saying "united changes managers like I change sock", first of all you should start changing your socks more often lol, secondly what was they suppose to do, let a bad manager keep on running the club to the ground?

Sure, they reached higher places this season and that is fine, but it was clear from the results that they are doing a bad job, so no reason why they should keep him. Better question to ask is why they waited this long? I said this before, before Amorim arrived, I will say it right now too, Xavi is the best one and should be something they need to consider, he will be better for them.
