Mikel Arteta has no excuse for not winning the EPL this season, because the club gave him free rein to buy almost all the players he asked for. The game against Chelsea will determine if they will remain on track to win the Premier League this season. I usually support Chelsea, but in this game, I want Arsenal to win because Manchester City must not be champions. 

If Arsenal don't win the Premier League title this season, Arteta will likely be sacked, as he's been given a long time and the club has consistently met his demands. As the season draws to a close, every match will be crucial for Arsenal, as the points gap with Manchester City is so close. The match against Chelsea will be a real test for Arsenal, as a loss could see Arsenal drop off the top of the table, because, Manchester City face a relatively easier opponent. Therefore, Arsenal must beat Chelsea to maintain their top spot.

I always said it, and I will keep saying it. There will come a day when Arteta is fired, maybe if he fails this season then this season will be his end (or if he wins he will continue). The moment he is fired, Arsenal will understand why that was a mistake. I know he failed to win so far, but Simeone hasn't been running Atletico Madrid for 15+ years because he wins the league all the time, he does it because a bad team is doing better with him. Arsenal will do horrible after Arteta leaves, they are going to have hard time being in top four after him.

You're right at this because Arsenal problem seems to be far beyond coach's influence or should we admit that England got a very strong Manchester city under the leadership of a great coach like Pep Guardiola with a well of experience. Manchester city reform is one of the greatest in any leagues, coming from an average team to a formidable team and always making every other team and their managers to look unserious. Arteta is going to be another victim of Manchester city's dominance. There's high chances of terminating Arteta's contract this year because Manchester city is going for the title.

At the end, the only solution could be hiring a coach who is better than Pep Guardiola in the Epl. Arsenal really has a long way to go and Arteta has taken arsenal far too. If he gets sacked for always coming second, Arsenal will suffer like Manchester United that sacked Ole Gunner for always coming second and also loosing finals and since then, Manchester United has never come second but 8 position or even lower. Maybe Arteta should pray for Manchester city to sack Pep on personal ground, haha.

Aston Villa are getting complacent or they are just bad recently? They've been able to win only once in their last 5 matches... You just shouldn't be losing against a team like Wolves.

I know Wolves are kind of a team that can surprise big teams this season. Still they are at the bottom of the standings which is also a fact! Most probably they'll lose the 3rd spot to Manchester United by the end of the week.

Arsenal facing Chelsea is definitely a difficult game, but there aren't that many of these difficult games and they have to win these if they want to be champions. Failing to win against Wolves is already proving to be such a huge problem for them, but let's say that even the best winners end up failing points at unexpected places so that was one and we get that, United loss was okay too because City had the same, but this time around Arsenal can't afford to lose anything and have to do better because this time City will not forgive and the gap will be closed completely.

Arsenal should realize Chelsea is a big team and it is not going to be easy but they have no other choice than get this win right here for the title.

It was a beautiful performance from Wolves yesterday against Aston Villa despite all Villa efforts to break the deadlock. J. Sa denied Villa quite some good chances and made his team win the game on a clean sheet. As the season goes farther, Villa is dropping form and if they continue like this, they will find it difficult to finish on top six.

This is a big opportunity for Manchester United to overtake Villa if they win their match against Crystal Palace on Sunday. I have a little confidence in United that they'll make it to the third position after that match.

To be honest, I didn't expect Aston Villa to lose  against Wolves. Aston Villa were the away team , but they dominated the game more than the home team, it was just that Wolves had better effectiveness than Aston Villa, as they  had fewer chances but were able to maximise those opportunities to score goals. Aston Villa's defeat could be a great opportunity for Man United because if they can beat Crystal Palace,  Man United will move up to third place and knock Aston Villa down. I guess that is what will happen because Man United are in good form and they will also have the advantage of playing at home.

No derby is easy for any team, and what  often happens is that tensions run high and fouls are frequently called on both sides. I doubt  Arsenal can win this match even though they have home advantage , because their form has been a bit inconsistent lately. They did secure a big win against Tottenham, but before that, they could only manage draws against  Wolves and Brentford. Frankly, it is quite difficult to predict how this match will end because Chelsea does not  seem to be in good form either.

Because of all the bad luck that arsenal has gotten over the years I really want arteta to win the premier League because they have put in so much work and effort but it's always in the last quarter of the season that they tend shake under pressure and eventually let go of their lead in first place and with the way things are currently going for them it's looking like they are about to go down that lane again because they are just two points away from facing the same trauma and if they get to play anything other than victory against Chelsea then it's a major problem for them.

I think about it a little differently. I don't think the negative things that are being said about Arsenal right now are entirely true. It's true that they were playing well and became a new favorite team for many, but in the end they couldn't win the league. While they were struggling to stay at the top of the points table a few seasons ago, now they are fighting for the title. Right now they are at the top of the points table. Time will tell who will move forward. We'll have to wait.

I agree, Arsenal isn't "that" bad, they are still the leaders and I have hopes for them to win the league even now. Yeah, it would be a shame if they wasted such a great season (so far) and got sloppy and lost it to Man City at the finish. They waited quite a long time for it.
If Arsenal loses to Chelsea, and if Man City defeats Leeds, the gap between them would shrink to only one point, with Man City having one more game to play.
What Arsenal also needs to consider is that they will play directly against Man City on 18th April away in Manchester. Man City do perform much better at home, so it's quite possible that they could beat Arsenal. Therefore, Arteta should make it his priority to make sure they keep a healthy distance and that the game on 18th is not the deciding one.

I hope that happens because we've seen Arsenal miss out on the Premier League title in the last three seasons due to inconsistent performances towards the end of the season. It's possible this could happen again if Arteta doesn't learn from his mistakes, as Manchester City are now closing in on Arsenal's points tally. The title race will be much more interesting, as one mistake by Arsenal in the next match could give Manchester City a significant advantage, so Arteta needs to be careful.

This one that it's raining goals in the Premier League today what happened! 4 matches played so far today and everywhere is goals upon goals, it's only that Sunderland game that produced 2 goals and the good thing about it is the fact that it's both teams to score kind of goals not one sided. Liverpool sprung to Liverpool today against West Ham and put 5 against them even though West Ham responded with 2 of their own but that 5 is sufficient enough to get them all 3 points. The other 2 games has been a close call with just one goal difference among them. I just like the fact that Liverpool is coming up after a disappointing season for them, disappointing to me in the sense that they spent a lot for them to be where they are now.

Aston Villa has lost its dominance in the Premier League, and I was very sad to see them beaten by Wolves, a team that was once bottom of the table this season. It was truly disappointing, and certainly regretful for their fans, especially those who bet on Aston Villa to win. Worse still, they didn't score a single goal against Wolves.
Manchester United will definitely take third place, that's for sure. It seems Aston Villa won't finish well this season, or are they focusing on the UEFA Europa League? That's very possible, I think.

I agree with you on this, they have been on a particular position for a long time and they have been comfortable with it. losing to a team that's at the bottom of the league table, even though wolves tend to win big teams sometimes I wasn't really expecting them to win Aston villa due to their current position on the league table and how poor they are in performance, Aston villa are definitely going to lose their spot.

Although they conceded two goals , they were also able to score two goals in the second half. 5 goals were scored by liverpool players in the match. Liverpool is  gradually becoming  stronger. Their overall performance  has returned to stability. They are now fighting to qualify for the champions league.

That's exactly what caught my eye when I reloaded Flashscore. Imagine if one had played the Liverpool and Brentford games + 7 goals. It would have fetched one a good amount of money

Manchester City is a high-scoring side. So, yeah, the game may produce over 2.5 goals, but I also expect Leeds to score a goal.

Like i have always say that the English premier league will soon take it normal shape and now with the look of things it is already happening, i had always knew that Aston villa can never make it to the top four and manny believed i was just making up some jokes i am very much happy we all can see that Aston villa can't make it to the UEFA champions next season, my top four prediction is.
Arsenal first runner up.
Manchester city second runner up
Manchester united third place and probably Liverpool fourth place.
Then either Chelsea or Aston villa can follow because the league is becoming more heated than we expected.

Arne Slot is trying to quit trust back but I think making it to top four is not enough for him to keep his job, League defenders performanimg this poor especially after spending much to improve their squad.

Their champions league performance will also play a huge role and the fact that their first target Xabi Alonso is free now might be another factor except he is not planning on managing any team soon.
