Aston Villa are getting complacent or they are just bad recently? They've been able to win only once in their last 5 matches... You just shouldn't be losing against a team like Wolves.

I know Wolves are kind of a team that can surprise big teams this season. Still they are at the bottom of the standings which is also a fact! Most probably they'll lose the 3rd spot to Manchester United by the end of the week. 

I have always had this strong feeling that Aston villa will blow away the champions league spot and so far it going that direction. Just like you said they have managed to win just one game in their last 5 which is very bad for a team who wants to be in the champions league next season. It a huge surprise that they couldn’t beat wolves, though wolves on the other hand is a team full of surprises, we saw what they did to the gunners  so it no big deal to them.

Now the big problem for villa is not just failing to pick 3 points at wolves but from now on to till the end of the season they now have more challenging and difficult game. With the current foam now I think they would struggle in most of that game. Now Liverpool have beat west ham and Chelsea will be playing arsenal tomorrow so big teams are closing in and that exactly what villa want at this period of time.

Despite being bottom of the league, Wolves beat Aston Villa by two goals. This was an unexpected loss of points for third-placed Aston Villa, and a good opportunity for Manchester United. The bottom team won the derby. This defeat somewhat shattered Aston Villa's Champions League dreams. Semenyo scored in the extra time to the end of the first half, this is injury time in the league, every team are fighting for something, you don't expect an easy game till the end of the season. Every game is important especially when you're playing against team at the button of the league, they are fighting for survival.

Manchester City will definitely win this match,that most important for team to close the gap between them and Arsenal, ball possession and shot targets doesn't add in this period of the league, winning games is most necessary.

That's true, their performance is below expectations but they were lucky to still bring out a goal from their below standards performance. Semenyo got an easy goal after a cross from Ait-Nouri. It was a brilliant cross and a good goal assist Ait-Nouri.

Leeds was unlucky in the first half because they performed more than I expected. It's possible that Leeds will be able to equalize the goal in the second half if they create the perfect chance

Like i have always say that the English premier league will soon take it normal shape and now with the look of things it is already happening, i had always knew that Aston villa can never make it to the top four and manny believed i was just making up some jokes i am very much happy we all can see that Aston villa can't make it to the UEFA champions next season, my top four prediction is.
Arsenal first runner up.
Manchester city second runner up
Manchester united third place and probably Liverpool fourth place.
Then either Chelsea or Aston villa can follow because the league is becoming more heated than we expected.

Seems like you too as well understands the league, earlier on it was Sunderland and people were hailing them, I could still remember what I said, I told them that Sunderland is only gathering enough points in other to escape relegation, when they have gathered these points, they will be sent out of the top four and right now, I don't even think Sunderland is within top 8. Same thing too when it came to Aston Villa, I still maintained that when the league sets, Aston Villa will be kicked out of the top 4 for the teams that own those spots. Aston Villa with all their form will not even finish ahead of Liverpool that's struggling. It's only on few occasion that an underdog gets a champions league spot, if not, it's always the usual teams that are always up for that spot.

Honestly the first half was very disappointing, because expected Leeds United to hold Manchester City tight from having early goals. But currently now their in halftime and they where able to lead Leeds United by 1 goal before first half ended; which i know that the second will be very tougher than first half because Leeds would put in much efforts in order to equalize back.

Because with the kind of shots that Leeds had in that first half if they can did the same thing in second half they would able to turn some to a goal.

It is interesting to see Manchester City struggling against Leeds United. If the fight continues like this, I think Manchester City will not be able to get full points from this match. Mikel Arteta has no excuse for not winning the EPL this season, because the club gave him free rein to buy almost all the players he asked for. The game against Chelsea will determine if they will remain on track to win the Premier League this season. I usually support Chelsea, but in this game, I want Arsenal to win because Manchester City must not be champions. 

If Arsenal don't win the Premier League title this season, Arteta will likely be sacked, as he's been given a long time and the club has consistently met his demands. As the season draws to a close, every match will be crucial for Arsenal, as the points gap with Manchester City is so close. The match against Chelsea will be a real test for Arsenal, as a loss could see Arsenal drop off the top of the table, because, Manchester City face a relatively easier opponent. Therefore, Arsenal must beat Chelsea to maintain their top spot.

I always said it, and I will keep saying it. There will come a day when Arteta is fired, maybe if he fails this season then this season will be his end (or if he wins he will continue). The moment he is fired, Arsenal will understand why that was a mistake. I know he failed to win so far, but Simeone hasn't been running Atletico Madrid for 15+ years because he wins the league all the time, he does it because a bad team is doing better with him. Arsenal will do horrible after Arteta leaves, they are going to have hard time being in top four after him.

You're right at this because Arsenal problem seems to be far beyond coach's influence or should we admit that England got a very strong Manchester city under the leadership of a great coach like Pep Guardiola with a well of experience. Manchester city reform is one of the greatest in any leagues, coming from an average team to a formidable team and always making every other team and their managers to look unserious. Arteta is going to be another victim of Manchester city's dominance. There's high chances of terminating Arteta's contract this year because Manchester city is going for the title.

At the end, the only solution could be hiring a coach who is better than Pep Guardiola in the Epl. Arsenal really has a long way to go and Arteta has taken arsenal far too. If he gets sacked for always coming second, Arsenal will suffer like Manchester United that sacked Ole Gunner for always coming second and also loosing finals and since then, Manchester United has never come second but 8 position or even lower. Maybe Arteta should pray for Manchester city to sack Pep on personal ground, haha.

Arsenal have had a chance to win the league for several times but failed to win it because of their habit of always dropping points in the middle of the season, so i think Mikel Arteta is the reason Arsenal have not won the league in the past three years. Manchester City dominance has ended in the premier league but if they win the league this season, I will say that Mikel Arteta and Arsenal players are the ones who allowed Manchester City to win the league. The only way Mikel Arteta will save his contract is to win the league but if he fail to win this season, i am sure he will leave Arsenal by the end of the season.

Am surprised that Manchester City is struggling to score goals against a team like leads united. I expected that there will be a lot of goals in this game but it turns out that this game is the only game that has produced the league amount of games so far in the premier League today.Leeds is really holding their own against Manchester City especially in this second half because City is not having the dominance that they were having in the first half.



Manchester City is not yet back to the form they were some seasons ago because struggling to win leads united convincingly is surprisingly to me. Let see how this game will end because six minutes has added as extra time as this game comes to an end Leeds is trying to get a goal but the city defense is defending well.

What an exciting entertaining turn of events, many unpredictable things are happening this days in football. I know a lot of fans predicted that Aston Villa would thrash Wolves but the outcome speaks differently.
Wolves who are sitting lazily at the bottom of the league once again turned the tides against a top placed team in the league. Aston Villa are about to give up their position to Manchester United if they win their next game.

This is a match for those who say that football is all about good players. A team at the bottom of the league beat a team at the third place in the league 2-0. You never know what will happen in a match. Aston Villa tried very hard and they attacked a lot but they were not able to succeed. I think Wolverhampton did not perform as well as Aston Villa on the field. The result of this match is very unexpected.

The match is going quite well, with Manchester City dominating the game so far. The 1-0 scoreline shouldn't be a concern. Leeds are naturally capable of scoring goals, but the current situation is very difficult. City are completely controlling the ball and not giving Leeds any opportunities to attack.

But to be on the safe side, they need at least one more goal. Honestly, despite dominating the match, Manchester City seem to be struggling to score. Pep Guardiola needs to replace players who can distribute the ball well to the front line. Haaland hasn't come on yet.

Manchester City's 1-goal victory is good in the tight race to catch up with Arsenal in the league table. Aston Villa lost, and we hope United wins tomorrow so that Manchester United can take the 3rd position.

And I was not happy that Manchester City won their game because if they had lost or even ended the game in a draw, it would have helped us seriously, but since they won, there is no difference, and I'm still not afraid because we are still going to win the Premier League for sure. And even if it is one point  i still trust Arsenal to win the Premier League, and from the way, now the only thing we have to do is to win against Chelsea and we are gradually solving our problems then because from the beginning we have, and I know I trust that arsenal will still win the premier league so there is every assurance that arsenal will be the one to defend the title this season.
