I have been seeing it all over social media since the match ended. As much as it’s entertaining to banter other clubs, it doesn’t tell the full story. Arsenal were struggling today against 10 men, it’s a miracle that they didn’t throw the points away. We can banter Chelsea all week, but I rather much prefer to see Arsenal lifting the trophy rather than having Chelsea in their pocket so to speak.

I won't even lie, focusing on this very season alone when it comes to these 2 teams meeting each, Arsenal is officially the superior team when they met. I won't talk about how the game was on this but solely that Arsenal has been better than Chelsea. His do you meet an opponent 4 times in a season and you couldn't even get a draw at least once out of the 4 meetings. Maximum of 6 points taken from you in the league and same team was responsible for kicking you out of a competition that you have already reached the semi final, with just one step of possible winning if a trophy. The image is correct and spot on. Arsenal owns London this season because even Tottenham couldn't stop them as well.

As a person who has supported Chelsea in the PL for years, I'm also speechless... Arsenal have really been very successful against them for many years.

They haven't lost to Chelsea in the league for like 5 years or so. In their both games in the PL this year, Chelsea got a red card!



Probably they won't qualify for the CL with this performance. But I'd like to see Arsenal as the champions at least instead of Man City. Just to see some different clubs making it also...

Well I don't really blame Chelsea because the kind of form arsenal is on currently, it is very difficult to beat them just imagine Arsenal defeating Bayern Munich that was so strong and the way they played Bayern Munich that day I could not believe my eyes so you can not really blame Chelsea and it was even of recent that Chelsea somehow picked form and started playing well though this is not a good record 5 years and they have not had any win. They should improve on themselves else they won't qualify for UCL.

It's hard to beat Arsenal in the kind of form they're in but did you see Chelsea draw two more matches as well as losing against Arsenal last night? A few games ago we all probably saw Chelsea, Man United and the mighty Liverpool all level on points so from there the Blues had the option to secure fourth place but now we see that they have dropped to sixth place and their points tally is at 45. Given the way Chelsea played against Arsenal yesterday, they will be found guilty because these games are not their only obstacle, they will have to endure PSG's attacking form in the first and second legs of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 game.

Out of the four meeting Chelsea recorded a draw in one of their match against Arsenal but that is not good enough for a team like Chelsea like it so disappointing seeing such performance from the almighty blues the pride of London but i think at this very moment Arsenal still remain the pride of London because London is currently red, but that is by the way i think Chelsea should better wake up from their slumber before it gets too late for them because i can see some possibilities  of them playing on the Conference league once again comes next season so they should better wake up now.

Chelsea can give us another surprise by losing to Aston Villa, Chelsea inconsistency is tiring and they might end up in the worse possible way never imagined. If Aston Villa can play just fine, they can win Chelsea, besides they have managed to stay above Chelsea for a long while, they should be able to handle the match against Chelsea, notwithstanding how tough the game will be.

Yes, they are definitely capable of beating Chelsea. But Aston Villa, who are currently third in the league lost last week to Wolves. Wolves is a team at the bottom of the table with only one win all season... Premier league is full of surprises

I’m not sure I’ll call it Arsenal Struggling, they were in no way struggling against Chelsea. Chelsea might have had the better ball possession and that’s it, they weren’t better in all statistics and it wasn’t just lucky goals Arsenal scored. Moreover Chelsea is the one who couldn’t get a goal, only goal they had was a mistake by an Arsenal defender. So Chelsea Struggled against Arsenal and they weren’t 10 men until about 70 minutes into the match, Arsenal was very Clinical and deserved the win.

All these things are not even important for a club that is chasing trophies, Chelsea has won trophies. And arsenal are in need of that, so these things does no really matter,

You can banter Chelsea all you want but if they Fail to win a trophy they will face more banter worse that that of Chelsea's.

Inasmuch as Arsenal has always come out on top when the two teams meet, Chelsea has always tried to put up a fight, yesterday's match, it felt like, in fact Chelsea where the better teams when it comes to open field play, it's just that Chelsea’s management is killing them, I know some people will think it's an excuse but that match just showed how immature some of this Chelsea players are, imagine they are the team with the most red cards in the EPL, they currently have 10 now. The Pedro's fool for the red card was just borderline stupidity from the player.

Anytime I see United fans post this type of fairy tale, I just want to stab myself to death, you guys should stop fixing United in the tittle race, so u feel Arsenal will start going on a four games losing streak and miraculously City will start losing too, then boom Man united wins there next 10 games In a row. And you think City will let that happen? I like the fact you use the word ‘Miraculously’ in your write up because if not for a very big miracle this would never happen..not this season actually.

The competition is very intense between City and Arsenal and I don’t think any level of consistency can make them win the league except if Arsenal and City both had three or more  loses in their upcoming games which will be somewhat impossible.

Manchester United are currently eight points behind Manchester City and thirteen points behind Arsenal and  there are not much games left in the league so I don’t see this even possible.

Man United have been performing incredibly well recently. Their style is not always impressive, but they get the results.
To play with math a little bit, Arsenal, if they keep their current performance level of 2.207 points per game, would be projected to end the season with 83/84 points.
Carrick's efficiency is 2.714 points per game (in the 7 games since he took over). If he keeps the same level of performance, United will earn another 27 points, giving them a total of 78 points.
For Man United to catch up with Arsenal, it wouldn't be enough to win all of their remaining 10 games (which would give them 81 points), they would have to hope for Arsenal to start underperforming. But if it's true that Arsenal have tendecies of dropping points at the finish, then who knows.

If, if, if, to many ifs, this is just a wishfull thinking with to many ifs. I am sorry to busrt your bubble, there is no way Manchester United are winning the league this season, they wont even go beyond 3rd place. They have been good recently but that does not put them in the title conversation. The title race is just between Arsenal and Manchester City,  so lets not get carried away thinking that Manchester United will win the league. They have done well for themselves,  so ending the season in a position yo play in the next champions league is more than what they dreamt of earlier in thr season, so lets not put them in the title conversation,  because thats beyond them for now.

This was Arsenal's home game. And they are fighting for the title. So naturally we had high expectations from arsenal. Since they are fighting for the title, I think they need to perform better. They should  definitely dominate and win their home games. But have arsenal been able to dominate in their last few games ? Arsenal will play against Brighton and Everton in their next two games. I hope arsenal will perform better in the upcoming games. If they want to win the title , they will definitely have to play well consistently.

There's no excuse for Chelsea and I say Arsenal is currently superior to them in recent years and as a fan I am so disappointed, I think Chelsea are just unlucky to not have won any game against Arsenal because they used to play better. Nothing to say because we've lost 4 times this season, it's really a shame. The picture will always be funny, I guess it's ok to say Chelsea is now officially Arsenal's wife

The Arsenal vs Chelsea match was quite competitive. Although Chelsea lost, it can not be said that they played very badly. But Neto's red card put Chelsea on the back foot a bit. It was difficult to perform well against a strong team like arsenal with 10  players. In the end , chelsea lost.
Chelsea are fighting for the  fourth place in the table. But their performance has been  erratic. The team has lost points in three consecutive matches. If this continues, it will be impossible  for them to occupy the fourth place in the table.

At this point I really believe Arsenal will not back down, it would be a really bad move after all the sacrifices they have made to be where they are.
It's just a matter of holding on and continuing (even playing not necessarily at full strength, but with a winning style of play) to ensure you maintain first place, finally taking home this year's title.

Sometimes to win games you don’t have to dominate the game, what’s the most important thing in football? Who wins the game!, who got the goal and three points. The past games they’ve dominated and lost or draw we were all here blasting them from all angles.
Right now I don’t think any Arsenal fan wants them to play fancy football, they should just do whatsoever to win their games and stay ontop of the league till the end. Mourinho used to say “Play the rubbish and win the match” that’s what’s important.

This is actually funny, and it's one banter arsenal fan will always hold unto when talking and arguing with Chelsea fans, but I trust Chelsea fans in banters like this because they are the most noisy football fans world wide. They would be showing off their recent trophy won and be saying all manner of funny stuff on how Arsenal have never won the uefa champions league than keeping mute to this banter
But am very surprised why Chelsea have failed to win arsenal in the past five years, like are they even exceptional? No.
Then what's really the problem?
Why can't Chelsea win arsenal in recent times even when they are in a very good form.
If arsenal fails to win the English premier league this season, all this winning against Chelsea wouldn't even matter because trophies is the only certificate that proves that you were exceptional at a particular point in time in history.
