Doesn't the points advantage give you the certainty that he will win the championship? In my opinion Arsenal don't even have to make that much effort to keep first place, they could just play conservatively and put a few goals in simple games, certainly making mistakes would compromise all the work they have done to date. Manchester United are the team that are getting excited in the Premiere and there is no point in turning everything around and making the Premiere even more competitive.
I don't agree with this. If Arsenal don't make much of an effort for the title I'm pretty sure they will lose it to Manchester City much easier. We have seen its examples a couple of times in the recent years. Don't forget how Arsenal lost points against Brentford and Wolves for 2 weeks in a row not much time ago. That caused them to lose lots of points advantage. We still see the gap as 5 points maybe but better not to forget Arsenal have an extra match played...

Arsenal just needs to be consistent in every game without losing any points because the current point difference puts Arsenal one step ahead in achieving what they have always wanted. The hard work referred to here is consistency, as I have explained. Even though the situation is as it is now, Arsenal must not overlook any of the teams they will face. Chelsea is a strong team that they have handled well. Now, with a few more matches to go, Manchester City is another strong team that needs to be beaten, and other teams must also be anticipated to avoid making fatal mistakes that could jeopardize the end-of-season target, considering that Arsenal is not like Manchester United, which focuses solely on the Premier League.

Look who's in third place? Is Manchester United back? I think the race for top spot is limited to two clubs, but let's not forget that Manchester United, under Carrick guidance, have made significant progress. A performance that Amorim couldn't achieve. They now just need to focus on competing with Aston Villa until the end of the season, and a third or fourth place finish would be more than enough.

I won't even lie, focusing on this very season alone when it comes to these 2 teams meeting each, Arsenal is officially the superior team when they met. I won't talk about how the game was on this but solely that Arsenal has been better than Chelsea. His do you meet an opponent 4 times in a season and you couldn't even get a draw at least once out of the 4 meetings. Maximum of 6 points taken from you in the league and same team was responsible for kicking you out of a competition that you have already reached the semi final, with just one step of possible winning if a trophy. The image is correct and spot on. Arsenal owns London this season because even Tottenham couldn't stop them as well.
It's clear that Arsenal is better than most teams, probably all teams in the league right now. Obviously it's not a guarantee and we are not seeing Arsenal defeating every single team, but overall they are at the top and that's a big plus. City still lacks one game, but Arsenal now feels better because even if City wins that game, Arsenal will be ahead, risk of losing points to Chelsea was that if City wins that game then they could beat Arsenal. Arsenal now will face easier teams for a while, should be easier to handle unless they do what they did with Wolves.

To me this is a great achievement for Manchester United because they never dream of coming this far this season especially with Armorim. If they should be able to finish third or fourth place then they have done a great job.

It's that consistency that is their problems. How many times have they had the opportunity to leave everyone behind, they have gapped Manchester City many times than I can remembered, they had the position to change everything about the table and their position but look at poor Arsenal now, they are begging to survive than to win the League right now, how can they win the League with this position of win and draw, that's wouldn't take them far. The only thing that is saving them now in the table is the fact that they have lesser loss, Manchester City has suffered many games at some stage in the league and that is why Arsenal has been able to be at the lead of the league, but look at Manchester City recovery? If there wasn't lapses in their performance, where Manchester City and Gurdiola will be at the table will be far from what Arsenal can near, that's why I'm still not confidence in their game.

If Manchester City wins their postponed match, their gap will be two points, a very close one. Don't forget, in the remaining match, specifically in matchday 33, Manchester City will face Arsenal, which could be the deciding match for the title. Arsenal knows they are now under pressure, because if they draw or lose even one match, their chances of winning the title will be even more difficult.

Honestly, I am having some level of confidence that Man United might miraculously just win the league this season if care is not taken. I know Arsenal have a very terrible history of dropping points at the final stage of the season. So if Man United can stay consistent and overtake City for that second place on the table, then we just have to wait and see if Arsenal drops points again, which I am sure they will.
Manchester United will find it difficult to win the Premier League this season as they need to win consistently in several matches in the next rounds. And even then Manchester United must hope that Arsenal or even Man City will falter in the next rounds. But I personally think that both teams will not fall that easily as they are still performing well so far. And I think Manchester United's journey will not be as easy as imagined. In the near future they will play against Newcastle away, where it is a nightmare for Man United because the last time they visited St. James Park they suffered a crushing defeat against Newcastle. And then Manchester United will meet Aston Villa who defeated them in their last meeting. In the next round Manchester United will face Bournemouth as away, where Man United struggled against them in the 16th round of the Premier League and even at home. So I personally predict that Manchester United will not be able to easily win the league this season.

I'm disappointed there is no media talk about Manchester United plans on keeping Carrick as a permanent coach for Manchester United, you can't have an interim coach handle the club to this extent and not assure him of a permanent job, there is obviously no doubt if he is good for the job, based on how far United have topped the league, he deserves to remain full time, with nothing less than 2-3 years contract. Manchester United best achievement will be finishing top four and qualifying for the Champions League, that will be there biggest win for the season, they deserve a spot far more than Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Now there is a potential 2-point gap only, that means if Arsenal simply draw one game City can reach them, and that could be the beginning of the end for them because they would have too much pressure.

Manchester City and manchester united are the most consistent teams now. You are right that Carrick is doing a great job. Manchester United have not lost a match since he took over. They have been able to perform well and win against the strong teams in the Premier League. The bonding between manchester united players is now strong. Their overall performance has stabilized due to the improvement in their relationship. United's attack in particular is quite strong. The defenders' performance is not weak either. But there is still some room for improvement. Manchester united are now fighting to stay in the top four of the table.

I have been seeing it all over social media since the match ended. As much as it’s entertaining to banter other clubs, it doesn’t tell the full story. Arsenal were struggling today against 10 men, it’s a miracle that they didn’t throw the points away. We can banter Chelsea all week, but I rather much prefer to see Arsenal lifting the trophy rather than having Chelsea in their pocket so to speak. It's not without reason that many people are laughing at Chelsea, as they haven't won against Arsenal in their last 10 matches. Despite bringing in many quality players in recent seasons, Chelsea still hasn't been able to beat Arsenal. Clearly, many people are laughing at Chelsea, as London derbies always leave interesting stories. For Arsenal, a win over Chelsea isn't particularly special, as if they don't lift a trophy this season, their record will be in vain. It's almost 4 years since the last time Chelsea beat Arsenal in any competition, now it's all about Arsenal and their fans creating memes like this because they have the right about their performance and consistency. Things are favourable for them to win a few trophies, and Chelsea won the Club World Cup but after this busted badly. Here I also agreed that London derbies have their own level, which brings good soccer to watch, and then off the field, things also give good entertainment, but one thing is sure now if Arsenal fails to win the Premier League, it's going to be a big social media war for them as well because they are the best, and they need to keep things on a good level for securing this.

Arsenal are now standing on a bit of a fire, their feet could get burnt at any time. They will be responsible for this situation. Arsenal are now in a very vulnerable position with a gap of 2 points, any mistake can knock them out of the title race. If Arsenal want to get a reliable place before winning the championship, they will have to pay attention to their game and ensure 100% results from every match. If Arsenal do not get at least a gap of 4 points before playing the match against Manchester City, then they will definitely be in danger, because the match will be at City's home ground. Arsenal will also have to pay attention to City's defeat.

I believe if Maresca was still Chelsea's manager I am sure Arsenal wouldn't have won all 4 matches but the change of manager made it easy for Arsenal. Maresca's last game against Arsenal was a good one, Arsenal barely got away despite Chelsea receiving a red card. Chelsea played better and I am sure they would have won if Caicedo didn't receive a red card. The new coach is not so familiar with their game so he couldn't do much but he still tried his best to challenge them and still play a good football.
The Arsenal vs Chelsea match was quite competitive. Although Chelsea lost, it can not be said that they played very badly. But Neto's red card put Chelsea on the back foot a bit. It was difficult to perform well against a strong team like arsenal with 10 players. In the end , chelsea lost. Chelsea are fighting for the fourth place in the table. But their performance has been erratic. The team has lost points in three consecutive matches. If this continues, it will be impossible for them to occupy the fourth place in the table. Arsenal football team played very well against Chelsea football team because they did 2 goals in this match and Chelsea team did only 1 goal in this match. The shots of Arsenal football team were 10 in this match and 5 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was 42 percent in this match and their passes were also very low in this match and these were only 326 in this match and they gave their hundred percent to win this match and they did goal at crucial time when it was need of the team. Saliba was a person who did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 21 minutes of the match and he gave good start to his team and after that goal opponent team was very anger and they did goal at 47 minutes of the match and and at that moment score was equal and both teams have to do one more goal to win this match and Arsenal team player who was Timber did goal at 66 minutes of the match.

We are starting the new round with midweek games... Today there is only one game I'm thinking of watching which is Wolves - Liverpool. Liverpool are going to try to maintain their current winning streak.
The odds for their win is quite high though, 1.52. It is a tough game yeah I'm aware of that. Even though Wolves are the last placed team in the league they still manage to be a pain for big teams. But I still want to give Liverpool a chance at these odds.

Sometimes when I see Arsenal outcome, I do look at it from a point of luck or from a place of performance. They don't look like who is performing in sometimes but in some matches, they do. Arsenal is running but as they do, they are getting exhausted with time and as they are tiring Manchester City is coming up with point, they are losing and City are coming up gradually, it's either they buckle up and create more space or they sink later. We are still away by from the end of the season, that's like 12 more weeks before the season finish, I can't imagine how they can use this small space of 2 points to finish the league unless Manchester City decided to play that kind of game they might not finish, they have miss some good chance to over take Arsenal since sometimes now but they are unable to, if Arsenal get another opportunity and escape this one, then that's it.

You need to understand what this means. Arsenal just needs to be consistent in every game without losing any points because the current point difference puts Arsenal one step ahead in achieving what they have always wanted. The hard work referred to here is consistency, as I have explained.
A lot of people don't want us to win the Premier League title, and that is why we are getting all these kinds of comments, but I'm sure that when the time is right, because no matter how bad things go at times, I see a lot of improvement, and they are wishing us to lose points and at the same time they will be surprised that the trophy we are going to be winning is going to be two trophies and all this other fans will be surprised to how we managed to win.
The only thing I want is for us to manage the situation well, because if we are going to manage everything well, we should continue losing points. In fact, even drawing is not an option, and the only threat we have in our back now is not more than Manchester City, but the season is gradually finishing, and we are going to be winning the Premier League in no time. I'm just too sure about what is happening now arsenal are serious about losing the title.

Arsenal won but it wasn't an easy kind of a win honestly. They weren't comfortable during the most of the game... Even after that red card Chelsea got close to scoring the equalizer. Of course getting 3 points is what matters the most. They have managed to keep the gap with Manchester City at 5 points. But with an extra game played though. However the fans would like to see better performances from their players next time. There is no doubt Chelsea was the better team at Emirates Stadium on Sunday still they lost here they deserved 1 point, but the red card hurt their cause badly, and they ended on the losing side. Now they are facing a terrible time because they are almost out of top 4 race. With this win, Arsenal is now feeling better, but still they needed to have a good level of performance because the last few rounds have always been problematic for them in the last three seasons, they have been facing problems, while Chelsea is heading for another challenge—another struggling side at the top looking for their good back. Both teams are going to play an important game on 4th March this will decide which has a chance to stay in the top spots.

Certainly Manchester United are back and we see them in third place. You are partially correct that the top spot is limited to two clubs because these two clubs are far ahead in terms of points. However it should not be forgotten that Michael Carrick, through his guidance, has brought this team great success and they now have fifty one points, which is the same as Aston Villa. At this stage it seems that Liverpool Football Club deserve to be in joint third place, especially in terms of points as they travel to Wolves tomorrow and they have a chance to win that twenty nine round game, if the Red Devils win this game then Liverpool, Man United and Aston Villa will be level on 51 points.

They now just need to focus on competing with Aston Villa until the end of the season, and a third or fourth place finish would be more than enough. This is a big comeback because of their good performance and hard work. If they had not worked so hard, they could have gone down further and they would have failed in the end. Arsenal and Manchester City are the two clubs that will compete well and strongly until the end, but Arsenal's strength and good performance are better them. Because of which they look more successful to us until the end. It will be a pity for Amorim because he feels that despite a lot of effort, he could not bring Manchester United up and finally he was forced to leave. After his departure, Manchester United also started playing well and are 8 points behind Manchester City and this is a big difference as if Manchester United will finish the season by catching up. Aston Villa is not playing well and Manchester United will have to take advantage of this because both of them are in the same position, so Manchester United should be better than Aston Villa.
