After Manchester United draw yesterday, here we go with two defeats of Liverpool and Chelsea today.
If Liverpool scored a goal and received two, Chelsea was knocked by three goals by Everton! If Aston Villa will win their game this round, the possibility to catch the first four spots of Champions League will be harder.
Seeing these results and what happened in UEFA Champions League, I believe that it is a good news for Manchester City to not play against Crystal Palace right now. Instead they will face Arsenal in the final match of EFL Carabao Cup tomorrow. Good luck for the best one of them.

Arne Slot era at Liverpool is gradually coming to an end and the defeat they suffered today is proof of that.

Chelsea spends hundreds of millions every season on medicore players who haven't gotten significant experience and achieve good things in their careers. Then also parting ways with a coach who won them two trophies and going for another medicore Coach. Their performance has been very bad ,the players don't have fighting spirits in them. They were still performing better when Enzo Maresca was coaching.  look at how they were beaten by PSG both home and away, and still lost  to Everton without a single goal. Am not sure Chelsea will Qualify for champions League next season, they are not ready. Next summer they will spend another millions on medicore players again. This needs good sporting projects.

Indeed the game ended with a distasteful 3-0 lose against Chelsea, with that match continues there fourth game losing streak, I really didn't see this result coming although I had saw a post on X previously where Enzo was complaining about the departure of Maresca and how he felt the structure has fallen, but didn't think it would affect them to this level. This shows the players doesn't like Rosenior and spells trouble.

I don't expect Chelsea to be performing like this at this moment, especially in the Premier League, as they are out of the Champions League. At this point, it is a period when Chelsea need to be more serious because this is the time almost every team becomes more serious, they want to finish in a good position, even if they can't win any trophy, as the season is getting to an end.But Chelsea are getting worse because a team like Chelsea, with quality players, should not be losing four matches in a row. That is really bad. In fact, I don't know the reason why Chelsea like changing coaches so often. I don't know what they really want from Maresca, or why they were not able to give him more chances after he won them the Club World Cup.Chelsea are always impatient with their coaches, and if they continue like that, they will keep having problems every few seasons. This is how Chelsea have been for a while now: they will do well for one or two seasons, then the next season, after a drop in form, they change the coach. I have really asked myself this question but I did not have a good answer for it, so I decided to bring it today forum if any of you will have a better answer to this question.
What is really wrong with Chelsea?

I mean, these guys do not have injury crisis and to the best of my knowledge they did not start decision so badly. What was actually wrong that Manchester United which was having similar problems with them have now overtaken them and for the past 5 matches Chelsea only managed to win one.

Should I conclude just like others did that it is the coach? If I don't want to apportion the blame to the coach, who then will bear the blame?

Meanwhile, is Chelsea coach on an interim or permanent contract?

Everyone is just disappointed with how Chelsea played today, Everton is not a team that they are suppose to find difficult to win, but Chelsea ended up losing the match. I wasn’t opportune to watch the match, I was surprised that the match ended as 3-0 when I checked the score. Recently there is decline in Chelsea performance, they just have to look for a way to stabilize the team, because losing unnecessarily is really bad for them.

If they had won today, they will have been in the top 4, but they decide to lose again, they missed the opportunity to be in top 4 again. Chelsea lost today against Everton which most people never saw that coming, I don’t really know the team that Chelsea will be able to win right now.

Chelsea has been terrible in their last 4 to 5 games, no win and their opponent have been keeping clean sheet but yet the fans still go out to brag about the badge "World Club Champions", this has been their problem and that is not accepting that they have a problem. Everton did well today and this season has been in their favor, playing against Chelsea where everyone thought it will end in a draw but they won by 3 unreplied goals, so bad that we have to see any team come either home or away to beat Chelsea, they have lost that momentum of getting the job done. Currently they are using 2pt to stay ahead of Everton, is no longer getting ahead of Man UTD again, is either Everton who would gap the on the log or Brentford, so who's to blame...the manager who I think should be or the players?

Looking at Chelsea recent situation, I wonder if the management decision to fire the manager was the wrong one. I compare it to the previous manager, Maresca. I feel Chelsea performance under Maresca is much better than under the current manager, Rosenior. Amad was pulled down in the penalty box, but the referee didn't award a penalty and didn't even double check with VAR. Perhaps the referee had his own opinion, despite the slight controversy. A draw is much better than a loss, as it doesn't completely drop points. Maguere made a mistake in the penalty box, leading the referee to award a penalty to Bournemouth and Maguere was shown a red card, making it a bit difficult for Manchester United to keep up the pace as Bournemouth continued to press with quite high intensity and luckily Manchester United did not concede in the remaining minutes after losing one player.

That's really great to see, Manchester United not conceding any more goals after a red card was given to Harry Maguire at 77 minutes. That shows a big improvement in Manchester United's squad to hold on to a draw match even with one player down with a red card. If it was before(previous seasons), easily will it be for Manchester United to concede a goal before the end of the match with their opponent. This time around under Carrick, the case is different, Manchester United looks eager to win matches and not to lose points in any of their match. That deserves applause for the coach and players

Luckily for Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa (2 clubs directly above them) are also massively underperforming. But if Villa manages to beat West Ham tomorrow, the gap between Chelsea and the top 4 will be 6 points, which is quite a lot.

Man City Vs Cardiff, scheduled for today, is postponed due to Man City playing Arsenal in the EFL Cup final tomorrow, which should be an interesting watch. Arsenal are the favourite, but not a big one.

I have no idea why they even changed coach, one thing is to change a coach another is to put in the right coach.
I try to believe that this liam Rosenior has potentials, but I haven't seen any progress at all, and this actually makes me doubt.

It's obvious that they got affect they being kicked of out the Champions League, they played like a team with zero confidence to keep pushing and it's going to affect them really bad if they don't recover quickly. Chelsea didn't change coach on purpose, the former coach resigned but I blame the board for not taking their time to find a better replacement or even persuade the former coach to stay with assurance that they'll agree with his terms. He would've done better than this. Liam Rosenior has the potential of being a better coach but he's not the right coach for Chelsea.

Though westham hasn't done great ever since the beginning of this season and it's expected that them playing against Aston villa later today should mean an easy win for Aston villa, but due to the current performance of Aston Villa, I seriously doubt they will be able to beat westham, I seriously doubt because I feel like the match will end in a draw, or even worst for Aston Villa and fortunate for westham if they discover a loophole in the Aston villas side that they can explore and end up winning the match..

With just one single win in the last five matches, three draws and one loss, westham should be desperate about winning this match, though I understand that Aston Villa may also fight really hard to maintain their top 4 position, this is why I think both team may end up not scoring any goal in their encounter later today..

Chelsea got many bad results recent weeks and even Liverpool lost points too, it does not make Chelsea situation in top five competition better. They are still behind Liverpool with same total matches but 1 point less than this competitor for a fifth position. Chelsea left UEFA Champions League with big aggregated result against PSG, and it's big shame. However they must focus on only seven remaining matches in Premier League in order to finish in top five for participating in Champions League next season. This task is most important for them in remaining weeks as it will help their club finance and their player transfers in the summer market too.

Without eligibility of joining Champions League next season, their club finance will be affected negatively and they will become less attractive with star players in the summer market.

We saw another terrible performance by Chelsea. In the match, chelsea had 65 % ball possession. They attacked a lot. Even then , they were not able to score a single goal. On the other hand, their defense was also very shaky and weak. They were not  able to resist everton's attack in any way. It was unimaginable that chelsea would lose by such  a big margin.

This was Chelsea's fourth consecutive defeat. They lost against PSG in the champions league match by 5- 2 and 3-0 respectively, and lost against Newcastle by 1-0. They also performed badly against Everton. In the next three matches, chelsea will play against city, united and brighton. They will probably not be able to earn points in these three  matches either.

I have said this time without numbers that the problem of Chelsea is this their new owners, they are the ones dragging Chelsea into this deep shit they are currently in today because they have no footballing IQ, and they just want to do anything they like by buying bunches of kids, at a low cost and be expecting that they improved a lot, with the plan of selling for profit, forgetting so quick that this is a club that is used to winning, and anything other than that will be unacceptable by the fans and those related to the club.

Like how are they losing 3-0 to a opponent like everton?
It's just too embarrassing for a team as big as Chelsea, last week they got embarrassed by the same psg team that was easily beaten by in the club world cup by Enzo maresca, but Rosenior lost emphatically because he knows very little tactically, and is not up to the level required to coach a team like Chelsea, so when will the owners of Chelsea hands of the club from this their shitty transfer strategy?
Because they are the ones holding the club backward.
