Salah has made it official that he is going to leave Liverpool this summer.

He actually extended his contract earlier to 2027 as you know. But things haven't been good for him. His performance was never even close to last season.

He must have felt it's finally time for departure... Probably we would see him in Saudi Arabia next.  

Mohammed Salah is one of the engine room that actually restore Liverpool back to it glory days, and in and out of the pitch his impact was felt, and he was loved by Liverpool fans worldwide and even i he still remain my favorite Liverpool player till date because dude was a blast, it wouldn't have been wise if he actually left the way Liverpool board wanted him to leave like it would have been very bad of the Liverpool management to have let Mohammed Salah who happen to be called Liverpool legend i would have been very bad of them, but i'm just happy now he's leaving in good terms with them.

Mikel Arteta made some mistakes which include allowing Kepa Arrizabalaga to play in the finals. Arteta wanted to be fair to Kepa since Spanish goalkeeper has played every round in the competition. City is good and when they're motivated they're capable of that and much more, that's why this team shouldn't be underestimated. I am very impressed with the performance they have shown in the recent match and I am looking forward to their success in the future because they have achieved victory by playing with a lot of good performance and efforts. This is the specialty that when they play with preparation and work hard, their victory becomes clear. That is why Arsenal's performance will have to play well in every match so that they can remain strong in every match and in their position, but still Manchester City is a little far away in this league, but showing carelessness is a disaster for Arsenal. Manchester City's performance will be strong only if they play successfully in the match, otherwise Arsenal will not give them a chance in this league. Manchester City should put pressure and keep winning the match and Arsenal can also lose the match due to pressure.

I feel that when the contract extension takes place it is only to keep the value for Salah's transfer because when he left last season it was certain Liverpool would only get a small advantage even not getting it at all so they tried an extension and indeed this season would be the right season for Salah to leave.  SPL has always been at the forefront even since a few seasons before the club in the SPL always tried to negotiate with Salah even though this time maybe what is on offer is not as big as before but it is very enough for Salah. Although his offer could have been smaller but the benefits of being in the SPL with a salary that is still quite large and the competition is not as intense as in the EPL it is very good for Salah to enjoy the days before he retired.

Football will always remember Mohammad Salah anytime Liverpool is remembered. His name has been written in the book of legends of Liverpool. In fact apart from his performance in Liverpool, his individual performance was top-notch to the extent that after Ronaldo, Messi and neymar, I have once ratted Salah to be the next.

I was so saddened last season that Salah was supposed to win the Balon Dor, but unfortunately Liverpool did not make it to the champions league finals despite the fact that they were the favourites to win it.
That was exactly where Salah lost everything. Now, age is no longer his friend, he has played his best and also the change in the Liverpool management and players also affected his performance.

However, he is leaving with his heads high as a conqueror who didn't walk alone.

Once City gain momentum and are motivated it really becomes a problem for the other teams, it’s around this time of the season that Arsenal begins to fall apart previously especially after international break. If I were an Arsenal player I wouldn’t want to play too much for my country, yeah it’s good to represent your Nation but Club honours and Pride is what most footballers crave and want.
If Arsenal goes as much as lose one game it’s going to shatter their morales and might end their hopes of winning the league title. They should be ready to fight and die for this league title it has eluded them far too many times.

Salah will always be seeing as one of the greatest players in the premier league, he has achieved what many players have never achieved in their entire career in the Premier league, his nine years at Liverpool has earned him his recognition and his deserve to be praised, what he has achieved has make many people believe that he his better than some legends like Hazard and other legends have been one of the best in the league, Salah will always seen as a legend of the league.

He is the first Egyptian player that have played in the premier league and achieved a lot of things that no one has ever achieved and that is why some people called him king Mo Salah, from the beginning of the season he has not been the same player we used to know and it is the right time for him to leave and play in other leagues and win more trophies.

I'm among those who have mocked and criticize the Gunners for their inconsistencies and unreliability to lift the league title in past years but this season especially now they are the most consistent team in the EPL and so the league title will be theirs. City who is the biggest title chasers with the Gunners are far inconsistent and the Carabao final when they defeat Arsenal doesn't change that Gunnners are still leading with a significant point difference.

I don't really blame you in criticizing them in the past because what they like the most is disappointment that is why even then I could not be able to defend them because they also disappointed me. I know they have a very significant gap in the Premier League but know that they are ahead of Manchester City with a match and I really know what Manchester can do because this wasn't the first time of kicking arsenal from the top of the table.

In their recent match against Manchester City, i was so curious to see arsenal winning the final but unfortunately they did not but despite they did very well just that luck wasn't on their side. Arsenal should tried their possible best to win the Premier League because they have confirmed and they have tried a lot for the past few Seasons now they have the strength but a lot of issues come up, right now they have everything it takes to lift the trophy

Disappointment is common with them but sadly it is more likely going to bed this season when they lift the EPL.

Sigh, I will miss those disappointing look on thier fans in the past seasons.

Speaking of Manchester City, they are not who they were and they rather than closing the gap continues to drop points. The pressure especially from the media is no longer on Gunners but rather City and many including me have giving up on them coming from behind to lift the EPL. Carabao cup is like a consolation, it doesn't change the fact that Gunners will soon be crowned EPL champions, sadly.

The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world, with many clubs aiming for the title. You can't demand a championship just because it has been a while since Arsenal won one.
There are two primary reasons for clubs to part way with their managers/head coaches:
1 - they lose faith in manager's ability to deliver expected results; and
2 - they have better candidates who can do a better job.

The main metric for assessing league performance should be points earned, not the league position.

It doesn’t make sense to me that he should be sacked because he didn’t get to lift the trophy at the end. Not like he had some of the very best players from the transfer window like other teams tends to target with the aim of having them lift the trophy with them. Arteta has being able to carry his team of young talents and made them a fierce team in the premier league. He knows how to use his boys to get the team running but ending well has being his problem, this is where he can be urged to improve upon through proper player rotations and not having him sacked.

It's a very good decision for him, in fact I think he should have made this decision last summer. He has one everything with Liverpool and he is now a legend of Liverpool.  He has nothing to prove to anyone,  so he should have left the club last season after winning the premier league,  but he chose to extend his contract and he has been very poor all season,  so him making the decision to leave at the end of the season is a very good one for him and the club, I can't fault his performance this season, because I think he has giving his best to the team and it's time for him to move on. I wish him all the best, because he is a player I really like and I enjoy watching him.

Mo salah stay at Liverpool was full of good memories, so it would be really bad that he would be leaving on bad terms with the club, though he hasn't really accepted reality that he is no longer the player he once was, but my happiness is that everything was done amicably.
I just hope that his next move will be favourable to him because he is one of those players that has given a lot to the game of football, so he deserves a happy ending to his glorious football career.
Going to Saudi Arabia will give him peace because since he is a Muslim, he will easily adapt to his surroundings, so I believe that it's the best destination for him.

Arteta should have played David Raya instead of Kepa Arrizabalaga in the final. Although Kepa Arrizabalaga was the starting goalkeeper from the start in this tournament because Arteta wanted to give him playing time, Arteta should have played David Raya in the final to have a chance of winning the title. But never mind, Arsenal should forget about the Carabao Cup final and now must focus on the Premier League and FA Cup because these two trophies have a big chance for Arsenal to win. We hope Arteta doesn't make the same mistake, especially in the FA Cup where they are now in the quarter-finals.

For sure Arsenal may not be able to win champions League, there performance in the caraboa cup final is an evidence. If they are to play with any of the strong teams you made mention of , they will be defeated. I think there focus should be more on winning the premier League trophy because if they going after the champions League trophy and the premier League they may end up finishing this season without winning any trophy.

Given what has happened to him earlier in the season, it's a sign that he needs to move and I'm glad that his taking that step to move before it gets worse. It's not a news that Salah has done incredibly well for Liverpool looking at the statistics, not many players in the premier league can boost of this kind of statistics, few might have a better stat but majority doesn't which kind of makes it incredible for him. It's just sad that he will not be leaving Liverpool on a high note, this season they might end up without a single trophy. It would have been lovely if he left when the ovation was high though.

They can only settle for the Premier League title,  they will not be able to win more than that.

The Champions League us the most dominant and difficult and they will be removed,  look at exactly how Pep in the Premier League outclassed Mikel Arteta, it is same he will face when he get in the Champions League. Sporting Lisbon can be easily won but whoever comes next will subdue Arsenal. They are not all that good if you look close enough

Why did you say Arsenal are not capable of it? Their performance and position and strength are at the top and even a strong team like Bayern Munich is not at the top right now and Arsenal have only strengthened themselves through effort and you are saying Arsenal are not capable of it. Yes, the goal is for them to move forward and succeed, but it is difficult. Their performance and hard work at the moment have made them quite strong. It depends on their performance whether they will play well or not because they will play with different performance against each team and which teams will adopt it. They have worked very hard for this and at the moment they will succeed easily and the increase in points in the next few matches makes their performance and victory more successful.
