Well consider your friend lucky, if it were today most of those altcoins investment if not all would have been a loss considering the numerous pump and dump altcoins that are in the market. Building your portfolio through alts is very risk even the professionals are avoiding investing on altcoins because even with their strong background about cryptocurrency they still get cut up in the loops of shit coins. Yep. Most shitcoins are just pump-dump coins. They are only hype temporarily, then they will continue to decrease the prices because no demands anymore. Experienced people know well when to take profits from shitcoins, they will sell when the hype isn't over. But unexperienced people will continue holding because they dream for bigger profits. They try to believe the developers/teams, but it is just the wrong decision. It is true that shitcoins are not recommended for unexperienced people.

The long term coin is only the top coin and the main one is Bitcoin. The top altcoin is indeed controlled by Ethereum and I also hold it. don't take risks with shitcoin when the top coin is still good for long-term investment. Nothing grows instantly.

Bitcoin should be the main option for the long term investment. Ethereum and other top coins are the alternative, just choose which coins that have good potential to develop in the future. Not all top coins are good, personally I avoid to invest in meme coins and stable coins.

Some of my friends also has this strategy and some of them also are bounty hunters that uses their chance gaining fron even shitcoins the  converting into bitcoin once they gain values.
And there's no bad at that and also that is something that can be risky or time consuming.

There are lots of methods and lots of ways on making yourself able to accumulate Bitcoin on various ways.It is really just that needing for you to be wise and for you to be that having making those good decisions on the

Well, I learned that the higher volatility coins will multiply your investment if price go with yours but if it's against you, the price drastically drop and sometimes can't get back up. That's why when I invested, I only choose those low volatility coins because for me it's a safe investment. Low risks is equal to low volatility, and this is what matters to me the most.
