If the percentage is 100%, don't buy everything, set aside a little for other altcoins that have the potential to approach ETH.
If the percentage includes Bitcoin, 35% or 40% is sufficient to buy ETH. The rest put on Bitcoin.

Investing in anything takes research and planning, with ETH, I think it is the top altcoin and has a lot of potential for future price increases. About the next 5 years vision, I think not only with ETH but almost any altcoin that adapts to this market will increase a lot, but for me now, I am still leaning more towards accumulating bitcoin, in general everything in the crypto market has always depended on bitcoin.

Suggesting to buy Ethereum this year in my opinion is a no-go, because right now Ethereum is not a favorite anymore,
look no news about their development anymore, after Ethereum 2.0 was activated Ethereum completely disappeared from the radar.

I agree with you OP, Ethereum has a good record by maintaining second position among other cryptocurrencies and many holders has made a lot of incomes from Ethereum and they are very ready to invest more on Ethereum so that they will be part of those that will rejoice when the price increase to $2000. The price of Ethereum is still $1,743 in the market, and it will be favourable for anyone to buy and hold like 4 or 5 years before he or she can sell, because the price of Ethereum will reach $20,000 before the end of the 5 years. I believe Ethereum teams will not allow their customers to regret in future than to do everything possible within their power to make the market look good for them to achieve something good.

If there are those who gain, there's also who lost. There are far better coins that ETH. There is no way to tell the exact value of the coin and even if let say it's possible, your prediction of $20k for ETH within 5 years is still too much. It's not Bitcoin dude. thats true, though people could easily get best of both worlds by simply diversifying, i just couldn't sweat at how people thinks they could only invest in one meanwhile they could simply distribute based on risks and still get good profits in the long run.

Indeed. Eth is an established coin and already existing for years therefore worth to invest in. The price already plunged and soar high (depending on the market situation) but what we're certain is, it's not a shitcoin that can't recover during bearish season. So even it takes a long period to recover, you'll not be worried that might lose its value.

Anyway, investors can also look for coins that can give them tremendous profit, the one that didn't reach their ATH yet (new coins created specifically). However keep in mind that it is quite risky, so think carefully what coins you want to invest your hard-earned money.

You're right. I think so too. Looking at what ETH has been able to do for this industry, not minding whatever criticism that's bedeviling it, it's obvious that it's not really appreciated. Like you rightly observed, the ETH smart contract has done more for this industry in terms of aiding new projects to launch on its blockchain, than any other project. This has helped broaden the industry with more tokens in the market. I won't be surprised if ETH goes above $10k this coming rally. It's truly deserving of it.

between bitcoin and ethereum I think they have the same start, we must be prepared to do long holdings, but bitcoin is still safer than ethereum, because ethereum movements are still influenced by bitcoin movements. both of them are worth investing in totality, given the level of risk security to hold in the long term. until later the bullish season comes and we can logically harvest the price, considering that many people are greedy and end up disappointed because of his own fault.

To me first choice of investment is bitcoin and if I have to choose an Alt then Ethereum is the best option. But keep one thing in mind that price of all Alts including Ethereum are tightly coupled with Bitcoin. Which means price will go up or down based on bitcoin price. You won't see Ethereum going to moon when bitcoin is going down or vice versa. Based on these facts I have restricted myself to Bitcoin.

It is known that when Bitcoin starts a rally for a new ATH, the whole market follows it, but with so many altcoins, not everyone can resurrect. Certainly there will be those who will not be able to rise after 98% price declines. If anyone is interested to invest on alternative coins then the Ethereum will be the choice for gain up. It is the next line of Bitcoin. And yes it doesn't have any bad history on the vary of different bear and bull season we have seen several pumps and dumps but the truth is it doesn't have any bad record. And if you look behind the previous ATH of this coin it is huge from its current price so it can be always a good idea to invest on ETH and it likely to be long runs.
