Yes and ETH is the right choice after BTC and don't be surprised if we see that currently too many people are too confident in new projects that are capable of being ethereum killers but in fact ethereum is still the most favorite platform in the crypto market even though it often has problems with network scalability and It only costs a fee but this is the second most sought after coin after BTC. If you want to go in and buy today, it's quite right even though the price is already high, but if I had ETH I wouldn't doubt its ability to increase it.

But the situation is different if we hold unknown tokens that do not have a strong community and are only used for dumping and pumping. as long as we do not sell the assets, the losses have not been liquidated.

In the long term, there is no reason not to be bullish on ETH but in the short term, i am not sure about it. There is a fud spreading around about the possible rejection of ETH ETF approval and news came out that the SEC is pushing a campaign to declare ETH a security. If they succeed, it won't be positive news for ETH but it can be another fud by the SEC  to manipulate the market. Future traders are already making a lot of profit as there is a continued rally in both ETH and BTC prices. So whales and exchanges will try to liquidate those future positions.

If I were someone who had not yet invested in ethereum then I would now

btc etf took a long time too to be approved so I don’t feel any uncertainty regarding
the approval of etf eth even if it doesn’t get approved i am quite confident
since it’s not the only source or reason of why ethereum would be increasing in price.

2021 was a crazy ride for the gas fees, I think that's the peak of it when all of these upgrades have been that somehow had decreased the gas fees but still, they're considered quite high as of the moment.

Where did you buy it? if it's with the dexes, you really have to spend a lot from the fees + commissions the platform gets. But if it's with the cexes, you just buy and avoid fees from having those transactions because it is a direct purchase but the trouble comes next when you're about to transfer it to your wallet because of the fee.

It does feel heavy gas fee consumption especially when gwei is high, even so I can anticipate with L2 to send, more practical and multi-functional indeed with its erc20 chain, the gas fee difference can be 100x. In this condition I agree that holding / buying ethreum during the bearish season in the past was the right thing. because the difference is very different, especially withdrawing from cex for ethreum is very expensive. unfortunately I only save a little for claims and my daily needs.

$10,000 is about 3X the current price, I think it has potential but not in the near future, if it goes to $7000 it is very good, and this year hopefully it will reach an ethreum price that is beyond my expectations. Even so, confidence in ethreum is still very good and tends to grow, despite its higher price.

the fact that there are L2 that are below the ethereum main blockchain in hierarchy and they are truly dependant on the ethereum blockchain security to secure their own L2 mean ethereum will never obsolete, why? because they all used EVM that is what ethereum really is, second these L2 be bridging so much ethereum to make it available on their blockchain meaning the supply of ethereum is only gonna decrease in the market if L2 keep being created and created and I predict that every year there will be many L2 created just for the sake of creating because why not.
I think its quite good coin to invest to honestly, compared to other I see big potential in ethereum overall.
if there's ETF that gonna get approved I next I guess its gonna be ethereum but then again we gonna see how it fare against the current price pullback or many call corrections.

ETH is still a good deal in the long run. Its price haven’t cross the ATH like it did for bitcoin. This season seems different foe bitcoin but eth is still lagging behind bitcoin. So this can be the local bottom for eth and we can see more rally from here once the market became stable and btc outflow come to an end. I am still holding my eth and the price target can be below 20k this season.

Ethereum has reached an ATH of $7k so why not it is a good coin to invest now. Currently it is in the range of $3k if we can be able to buy at least 4 ETH it is quite an investment because after the halving and then the bull run starts Ethereum will as wear break a new all time high going to the price of $10k.

It is clear that what you are going to do is a good thing, because we know that, up to now, ethereum is still the best altcoin and is highly sought after as a promising investment.
You don't need to regret it because ethereum will be corrected again when it passes the halving period where you can add to your savings and wait for the next increase which will most likely create a new ATH. After making a profit, you just have to wait for a correction to occur again to save and hold it for another 4 years.

Ethereum is worth the hype, investing earlier would have been more preferable as many are complaining about the high fee and the ETF approval. I agree it’s you because you said 5 years. Many people want to hear someone tell them that it will be profitable in just a month or two, or just some short timeframe. its undeniable the smart contract of ethereum is really being used by the masses even most of the bitcoin L2 nowaday still implement their blockchain using EVM which means that people also want to bring solution of giving capability of smart contract to bitcoin through various ways.
certainly if im gonna bet i will bet on ethereum after bitcoin that is.
other coin like solana and the other are still fall behind if i'm being honest maybe its still a long way to go for these coin to ever pursue the price and market cap of ethereum.
the thing that make me interested in investing in ethereum though the fact that there are many LSTs going around these days where we can restake our money effectively double our potential profit but what I'm afraid though it'd collapse one day if not being looked at properly, but considering that if the reserved ETH in the pool always equal to amount of LST issued i guess its gonna be fine.

I have experienced that High fee back in 2021 and that is the last time that I used
Ethereum for transacting though up to now I still have ethereum on holding but never
that i used this in paying or something related because of indeed occasional increase
of transaction fees that i observed sometimes sounds like more than how much i can
spend in bitcoin so to prevent those hates , I decide to not use for even a single time
now instead to let sit in my folio for another year.

Many awaits for the ethereum etf but it's most likely going to get delayed or if not, it will be rejected by the SEC.
But even without that, it's going to be fine for Ethereum because we'll see that it's going to be up together with Bitcoin. I've already stacked few but I've done more with Bitcoin.
