Hey guys,

I just wanted to chime in based on what i've been reading...  Part of our goal in running an exchange is to provide the best platform for coins to succeed.  Most of the time we are contacted by devs... others we are contacted by a large number of people inquiring about it.  Either way, our goal is to help the community by providing a safe and reliable place for people to trade.  Its an unfortunate reality that once you release source of the wallet, anyone can put up a pool/exchange/faucet/whatever... We are happy to work with devs if they contact us ahead of launch time, but in circumstances like this, our only course of action is to try and run our business.

That said, it is completely up to this community to promote or not promote us.  I'd like to think you'd want to build partnerships with exchanges that are willing to help your community without costs associated with the "big" exchanges.  Our goal is to BE a big exchange and continue to provide excellent service to everyone.  It is never our intention to be disruptive, so please accept my apologies.

Thanks,
Richie

Hey Richie,

We appreciate your involvement in this issue and we also understand you perfectly. This was a simple case of a very slight misunderstanding which we've already worked around and things are proceeding smoothly. We are delighted to have you on board and I'm sure our collaboration will be a fruitful one. We will be listing you later on today.

Back on topic:

The Android wallet bounty has still not been claimed by anyone. As you can see, it is a very generous bounty and an Android wallet would further spur interest in Muniti. We've been swamped with messages on Twitter showing a very big amount of interest in Muniti, far more than we ever expected. There will be a surprise coming up this very weekend - we are sure that you will like it.

We are also setting up a bounty for a Wiki page on Muniti. Check the OP for more info.

Everybody is happy now, dev when you have time please answer this question: I am wondering when can we expect some premine addresses in the OP? That really helps in boosting the credibility for the community and can also help in testing the nice blockexplorer daily for premine hunting amateurs:)....Eagerly anticipating the good news of this weekend..

We already posted the addresses earlier on in this thread. The address for first maildrop  is mWuwabhbmNHyYNLbQ8pzYfnFymHm5JicXf. The address for the bounties is me4HkydLYfdH3PP2oDudqRYnpFvxuCL3K2. The rest of the reserve is being held in cold storage and it is situated in magsvXHxvJhN3i3pEoSCPGJr5VwzFVgkrF.

Maybe you should put the addresses in OP, and maybe even on the website. Investors like to check that first on country coins and people won't have to keep asking for them every few pages.

Tried several more times to but the mac wallet is not packaged correctly.

Anyone working on this?

Yes checked all folders.
Does seem to be packaged properly. Have you tried it?

Has anyone tested the wallet?

The downloaded zip file unzips to a folder and there is no launchable QT application inside.

The Mac OSX wallet has been created by OCminer, who already runs the suprnova pool and has been supporting Muniti since the launch. I will allocate the bounty to him, but please feel free to send him donations for the excellent work which he has conducted so far:

mSnXqgDew2CU9mfaeEMxz4XaVBUjx5MsLL

Link for the wallet:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ta9ko2ksiw3302/MunitiMacOSX.zip

It has been compiled on the latest Maverick 10.9

It might be a simple thing - did you check all the folders?

same :S i recompiled with 10.8.5 and working fine...

The Mac wallet doesn't work.   Whoever claimed the bounty didn't do a good job of packaging it up or it simply was a fake to claim the bounty....

Thank you menzo, that would be very appreciated.

It is very hark to find this topic again.

Please refer to our website www.muniticoin.com for updated information. You could also try bookmarking the thread.

Difficulty staying in the 30s - nice and low for an X11 algo!

It is also very profitable. We calculated a very low consumption cost on our personal mining rigs, and the return is higher than Darkcoin. Efficiency is a must with such low prices in the market.

We are working our way up towards more exchanges where and if possible. As you can understand, it is very difficult to get listed on the so-called major exchanges without any "donations" to these exchanges. We viewed Swisscex as a possible addition to our exchange list, with a fairer voting system in place (similar to what Cryptsy had before turning capitalist) and a solid reputation. Comments count as votes, but we suggest that your comments be informative and fulfilling.

You can get listed for free on poloniex.com by simply sending an email from the developer presenting your coin, they listed the majority of the country coins , EFL, APH, and so on... My take on it: if you really want to go to exchanges now, why settle for something less than Poloniex which is obtainable free of charge and has a larger user database than Swisscex (not saying swisscex is not ok, but it doesn`t compare in terms of volume we all know that...), or if you really want to expand go for both , Swisscex adds coins very easy.

totally agree. Poloniex is one of the "big" exchange among small exchange. They got quite decent volume and a few traders with strong hands.

Update from Poloniex - they should be adding Muniti either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Has someone tested menzo's Mac wallet by any chance?
