You can not force anyone to embrace bitcoin, people have to discover why bitcoin can benefit them if they buy it. And that is not all, they also need to know the right time to invest and not invest at the wrong time when bitcoin price has increased significantly.

We like or we do not like, people will invest in bitcoin. More people will know it and buy it and the price will continue to increase after long period of time. Some people may not like bitcoin and remain to be bitcoin critics, but if I can invest and make money, I do not care. That is life, everybody can not be on the same side

OP is right, bitcoin is not fiat currency that must be used by everyone. The limited supply of bitcoin makes it not available for everyone because as time goes on the poor ones will not be able to buy bitcoin due to the high price of bitcoin. It is just like gold that the poor ones knows it is expensive and base on their little income,they will not be able to buy gold. Bitcoin price is based on demand and supply,the more people keep buying,the lower the supply. If almost half of the people in the world own bitcoin,I guess that the price will hit 500k-700k which will become a problem to an average man to buy. I don't think there is one that is acceptable to everyone. Some like bitcoin, some hate it, some like fiat and some hate it, some like stocks, some hate it. It's better to forget those who don't like bitcoin, explaining to them will only waste your energy and mind. There is nothing to argue about, the world has many financial systems and all of them have their own communities and values. So just let them hate bitcoin, bitcoin can always make history with its highest price, even though many hate bitcoin

I don't like how governments control central banks, create inflation of fiat currencies and put their citizens in worse life by negative effects from inflation or in some countries, hyper inflations. I don't like how they corrupted and became richer while their citizens became poorer by inflation as well as how they failed to keep their promises from their propaganda to be elected by citizens.

However, I see we still need governments to keep societies in orders. I don't want to live in a country, a society with an anarchic status because my life will be in danger. In such an anarchic society, my prosperity will become a big risk to end my life.

I need government, but I am still investing and very bullish on bitcoin. And for me, Bitcoin is just an asset, and it's just a tool to make money, it can't take on any government role.

Bitcoin will become more interesting for investors when they see bad inflation from fiat currencies and realize that Bitcoin has become more strongly surviving after many years, many bear markets and many tests from governments to kill Bitcoin and its network. Trying to convince people about bitcoin when they don't know anything about it can be a wasted effort because some people won't accept all  you may say concerning bitcoin. And if eventually you succeed in convincing them and they buy bitcoin in haste to invest without the knowledge of it, if the market and it volatility in nature does not go well with them it can destroy relationships because they will sure put the blame of their loses  on you. No need to force or convince people to invest in bitcoin,  people should see reason by themselves why they need to invest in bitcoin .

Even though Bitcoin has a maximum supply, it doesn't mean there's no one can't own Bitcoin. You can just by the fraction, so there would be around 2,100,000,000,000,000 Satoshi. Just like in all aspects of life, you can’t please everybody. No matter how successful are you in life, you can’t expect everyone to be pleased with your journey. Everyone has their own reasons behind it, but we do not want to focus on that. Let’s just focus on what we believe in like Bitcoin.

It has been a roller coaster ride for me though. At first when I believed in Bitcoin, not all have been pleased. They say I am now promoting a scam, etc. There’s even a guy who spread in all of his group chats to start “unfriending” me years ago because of being into Bitcoin rather than continue to being a failed network marketer.

But I still believed in Bitcoin and it paid off very well in the end and I have no regrets going into this crypto and Web3 industry. It’s all thanks to Bitcoin.

It is pointless to expect everyone to embrace bitcoin. I doubt that bitcoin will become a world currency that will be used by every inhabitant of the planet. It seems to me most likely that bitcoin will remain an investment vehicle that will be used, just like stocks in the stock market, such as stocks of technology companies. For example, Google or Apple. Not all people own these shares, right? Moreover, many people have no idea about the stock market at all and have no experience of investing in it. The same, I suppose, will be with bitcoin. There will be people who invest in btc, will own it, and there will be those who are far from all this and, accordingly, will not have a bitcoin.  Here it is impossible to make everyone equal, as under communism, and the market itself will regulate the situation.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If a person is not interested in topic of bitcoin, then you should not continue imposing it. If he showed interest, then you can tell in more detail. I don't think there is something that will waste someone's time, like when you teach people something and they don't understand all you are saying or they don't even listen to you as well, I believe it will be very painful for the person teaching them. However, it's the same thing when you teach people who don't know anything about bitcoin that they should embrace the currency. The only person I can teach bitcoin to is when he comes to me and says he wants to learn some aspect of bitcoin, I think that is the only thing I can do for now.

However, the truth is that the majority of these people today view this online activity as a scam, or perhaps they have already fallen victim to one and don't want to do it again. Forcing people to be part of Bitcoin makes you the same thing we're trying to get away from. The government and other centralized organizations force people into doing specific things even if it's not necessary. You can't send money direct to another country without a third party, you can use a bank account without paying unnecessary charges, and many other things we are forced to do.

While it's true Bitcoiners can't force Bitcoin on everyone, there is a chance that Bitcoin itself will entice them to BTC due to the freedom it serves them.
Of all people to mention, you really choose Charlie Munger Jesus. Can't you see that dude has not yet upgraded his brain? He is like Pentium 2.

Of a truth Bitcoin is not meant for everybody, and you don't have to force it to anyone rather allow them to see the importance and impart in your life.

Everything has a pros and cons, so it is impossible for everyone to receive bitcoin too, like I say that you are handsome, not necessarily people agree with my expression about you, this is a basic logic, so we don't need to force what we are Know and we believe to others, it will make it a conflict between relationships with each other because of differences in opinions.

No one tells us to spread Bitcoin and to be accepted by your family or environment, even Satoshi does not tell you to do that.

Here's the thing about us who try to "convince" or "persuade" some of our folks, family, and friends to embrace Bitcoin- we do not do it because we expect them to go all out and embrace it immediately we do it to impress on their subconscious minds that their lives could be at least 1% better by just investing in Bitcoin. You have no idea how much Bitcoin changes lives not even financially now but mentally and otherwise. I have yet to see anyone who invest in Bitcoin who is not situationally aware with current affairs in the financial world. Just by embracing Bitcoin some of us have become almost well versed in "investment banking". Some of us have learned about the technology behind it and have been motivated to acquire Blockchain tech skills. Some of us have been motivated to learn about cyber security to so that we can know the best practices to secure our Bitcoin. Agreed, because many topics already made on this issue where many OPs tried to convey the same message. Such as one suggest not to force kids to learn about BTC and other suggested not to force family and relatives to learn the basics of BTC and you suggested not to force them. So, all of these topics have game me the idea which i already had but these topic are good reminder.

I agree with you, i recently read a topic about farmers like how they made a group together to invest and learn about BTC. Like why did they join together who convinced them. No body they just after profits maybe so when they see one of their own made some good profit they found it legit. Their beliefs about BTC might changed so now they are also interested in it.

I would agree. There's just some people that can't be convinced no matter what we do, and that's okay. Such conditions are actually quite normal. When there are pros then there will definitely be cons so when talking about bitcoin there will definitely be a lot of debate about the pros and cons.

To be sincere with you OP, what you said is the truth because these days is like people are enforcing Bitcoin on other people who don't seem to be interested, and you'd hear something like I preached to my colleagues about Bitcoin and they said this and that, no. Recognition is always on the move, it would really be just fasten out on the sense it would really be seen on other angles or applications on which other people would be able to see its relevance. Some might get curious

and some wouldnt really care at all. I agree with you because there are skeptical people who would never accept something like Bitcoin while we can't ignore the fact that there are also people who are very fond of Bitcoin that they can't live without it. I have realized that Bitcoin isn't for everyone ever since 2017. I don't want to force anyone in my social circle to get into Bitcoin/altcoins(and my social circle isn't big). I won't deny that I am a really lazy person, and to be completely honest, I am terrible at teaching people new things. For these reasons, I just avoid the burden of attempting to persuade people to accept bitcoin. However, I only teach it to those who have expressed interest in bitcoin. I've learned that everyone has a unique perspective on the world, and even if bitcoin has existed for more than a century, not everyone will accept it or want to use it. It is uncomfortable when you introduce someone to bitcoin and they suspect you are trying to con them into visiting a fraudulent website or making an unwise investment.

It may be challenging to persuade them because so many have encountered scams and been the victims of scam.   I don't blame those who are afraid of being scammed; it's always better to guard against such, and it's best to steer clear of anything you don't believe in.

I get your point but maybe they just didn't know what is Bitcoin and what is its potential right? Of course, there are other reasons but if you know Bitcoin know its capabilities, potential, what it can do, etc. are you going to invest in it? Of course, right I mean I'm going to do it for sure. I do not see any point on trying to promote bitcoin at all as bitcoin does a very good job promoting itself already, I did not really needed anyone to tell me to invest in bitcoin and become part of this market since I could figure it out on my own, and with the evidence of bitcoin being a great form of money and the high levels of inflation we experimented not long ago many people are becoming more willing to take their chances and give bitcoin a chance.

Honestly, ever since I started investing in bitcoin, I can't find any good reason to spend time trying to convince someone to believe in bitcoin. I agree with you because there are skeptical people who would never accept something like Bitcoin while we can't ignore the fact that there are also people who are very fond of Bitcoin that they can't live without it. Those people who don't want to know about Bitcoin are the ones whom we can called people with ignorance while that ones who accept that Bitcoin is a useful asset and it could help to reduce inflation are the people with the understanding of things.

The limited supply of bitcoin makes it not available for everyone because as time goes on the poor ones will not be able to buy bitcoin due to the high price of bitcoin. OP is right, bitcoin is not fiat currency that must be used by everyone. The limited supply of bitcoin makes it not available for everyone because as time goes on the poor ones will not be able to buy bitcoin due to the high price of bitcoin. It is just like gold that the poor ones knows it is expensive and base on their little income,they will not be able to buy gold. Bitcoin price is based on demand and supply,the more people keep buying,the lower the supply. If almost half of the people in the world own bitcoin,I guess that the price will hit 500k-700k which will become a problem to an average man to buy. That's some false logic. There isn't any price of Bitcoin that will make it too high for people to buy because there are 100 million Satoshi in every Bitcoin. Anyone can buy any amount of Satoshi they want. Even at $10 million per bitcoin a Satoshi would only be worth 10 cents, and by the time Bitcoin reaches $10 million 10 cents will probably be inflated down to less than 5 cents in today's money. Also by that time almost certainly most people will be primarily interacting with L2 so even for people living in poor areas buying say 50 sats at a time won't be a problem.


Also, by the time half of the people in the world own Bitcoin (if it ever gets to that many people) the price will be many times higher than 500k-700k. 500k-700k will almost certainly be surpassed before a billion people own Bitcoin, let alone 4 billion.

Bitcoin wasn't created for everyone, it was just created and opened to everyone. Anybody that wants to benefits form using bitcoin should decide to embrace it. But not everyone will welcome Bitcoin like as the government aren't happy about bitcoin and fighting to destroy it.

But if they see the price of Bitcoin for sure, they are starting to learn it. This also happened last ATH as people were jumping to it even though the price was too high, which is why a lot of people also lost money as they just jumped in without learning. Let's really expect that most people will not embrace or recognize Bitcoin. Just like me, my family or relatives don't believe in what I'm doing, even though they see that I'm surviving because of what I'm doing.

It's good for you to earn or benefit from Bitcoin. We just cannot change how other people see something differently in comparison with how we view it. This has something to do with how well you know aboyt something. Since we know its potential then ofcourse would be biased of it but others may not. In most instances those who do not engage in this technology are those who knows only a few about this industry. And some of them are aware of the advantage but are still not convinced to invest because they cannot embrace the risk. Eitherway, we don't have to force them towards Bitcoin adoption. Don't get disappointed in someone who doesn't understand the potential of Bitcoin, but you should feel sorry for them, that's how I take it. When I tell someone about Bitcoin and suggest they get involved, maybe not monetarily but should at least learn about it, and if they start talking negatively about it, I don't argue with them and simply think in my mind that they will surely regret this in future and that is when they will realize that my suggestion was gold.

So true. Even without the need for us to force other people, in fact the growth in the number of bitcoin holders is increasing or growing rapidly. On the contrary, I think bitcoin is for everyone. Understandably, not everyone would be interested in bitcoin or some people may have the wrong notion about bitcoin that would have them totally uninterested in bitcoin. I myself once had the wrong notion about bitcoin and wasn’t interested then in bitcoin. It didn’t mean bitcoin wasn’t for me, as I’m now very much interested in it and thankfully, bitcoin is still there for me.

Obviously, it could be a tedious task trying to convince someone ignorant and swimming in misinformation. But there are also people out there with curious open minds who after digesting the truth and facts about bitcoin, would eagerly embrace bitcoin.

On the contrary, I think bitcoin is for everyone. Understandably, not everyone would be interested in bitcoin or some people may have the wrong notion about bitcoin that would have them totally uninterested in bitcoin. I myself once had the wrong notion about bitcoin and wasn’t interested then in bitcoin. It didn’t mean bitcoin wasn’t for me, as I’m now very much interested in it and thankfully, bitcoin is still there for me.

Obviously, it could be a tedious task trying to convince someone ignorant and swimming in misinformation. But there are also people out there with curious open minds who after digesting the truth and facts about bitcoin, would eagerly embrace bitcoin.

I very much agree with you bud, i believe that it is already a known fact that for anyone to be able to transact in bitcoin successfully without problems, they need at least, a basic level of technical knowledge,  with that knowledge, they know how to send, receive coins, and also know how to sell or buy coins, this knowledge will also help them understand how the bitcoin blockchain works, and some of the basic technical things do when they the chain gets clogged, like how to adjust gas fees and so on.

I can't find a topic that talks about a family member getting angry at another family for refusing bitcoin!  do I miss it?

Just as my friends didn't shove down investing in the stock exchange market to me, I replicate by not doing so with bitcoin. I get, not everyone will accept bitcoin. But occasionally, I send them a news article or share a tweet with them about bitcoin and the what is going on with it. Sometimes we have a conversation around it but they haven't invested. This is what I certainly do not understand about them. The main problem is that being your own bank is very cool but not everyone is ready for something like that, or maybe they just don't want that kind of responsibility. There will be people who find benefits in using or investing bitcoins, but there are also people who don't like risk to invest, don't care about privacy, they have no reason to accept bitcoin. But later on, my perception changed and I tried telling someone about it and the first question I was asked was this; "if my funds get missing, who can I report to?" Those that are happy to share what Bitcoin is, there's nothing wrong with it. I've been there and done that and those people that have rejected me sharing what I've known with Bitcoin didn't stop and lose my optimism towards it.      I strongly advise against telling your friends anything about Bitcoin. If they lose money, then you will be the first to be blamed for your losses. They themselves must find out everything about it, and you will remain out of business. Trust me, it will be much better for you.

It could be the people don't want to risk on something that few people use, it's like the influence in the environment if few people are using Bitcoin in their everyday life then most likely they wouldn't be using Bitcoin as well. The main problem is that being your own bank is very cool but not everyone is ready for something like that, or maybe they just don't want that kind of responsibility. I love bitcoin I totally understand those people who don't fell like managing alone their money because with the banks, usually, you have some kind of insurance, with cryptos you don't.

So true. But usually those who are more comfortable with relying on the Central bank are because they do not fully understand the importance of Decentralization. And they don't even understand the centralized system used by the Bank.

So they are not ready to become a bank for themselves. And they prefer to be pampered with the system provided by the Central Bank. Unlike in my own situation I hard a divine part with Bitcoin because no one really introduce me to Bitcoin and even though someone close to me further enlightened me about Bitcoin I was first aware of it before my encounter with the ops that thought more.

So in this situation, already build my pre-motivation before the actual adoption because I start searching about Bitcoin in 2010 when I first have the idea of its extent through social media.

If we want to tell someone about bitcoin, we have to know the interest of the person on bitcoin so that you will know where to start from. My friend who reintroduced bitcoin to me suffered for my hands. He spoke to me about bitcoin for a very long time. And it was not only me that the guy was telling about the bitcoin stuff but we're about 3 but it was only me later had the interest to joined him. So if you want to teach someone bitcoin you have to know interest of the person first before you start you teaching if not you will just waste your time for nothing.

You can not force anyone to embrace bitcoin, people have to discover why bitcoin can benefit them if they buy it. And that is not all, they also need to know the right time to invest and not invest at the wrong time when bitcoin price has increased significantly.

We like or we do not like, people will invest in bitcoin. More people will know it and buy it and the price will continue to increase after long period of time.
