Bitcoin is not for everyone because some people don't want to identify the things which are necessary for success and blindly put money without realizing what to do next. Other reason is that in some countries bitcoin investment is not permitted therefore they cannot take benefit of bitcoin even if we convince them for making investment until they moved to the other country.

We can just share knowledge about bitcoin but convincing someone other is not an easy task because everyone has different opinions and they can think about their profit personally. One can also not easily convinced from bitcoin investment because new comers are in a fear of losing money when they heard that risks are also involved in it.

The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster.
No one can force people to get involved in bitcoin investment because it is entirely the belief of each of them. Our job is not to convince anyone to get involved and talk about interest and confidence will be formed when someone can understand what bitcoin can provide.

I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them but I feel everyone is entitled to his opinion and while some regard Bitcoin with outright disgust like Charlie Munger, there are some who care less of it's existence.
Basically there is no problem when people want to introduce bitcoin to their families, because we know that bitcoin can bring someone to reach the stage of financial independence if invested properly. But that doesn't mean to be angry if one of the family doesn't want to get involved and maybe one of them has their own views on safe investing. Confidence in investing in bitcoin will be formed when they try to learn and after they understand they have a conclusion whether to get involved or not.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?
Been there before and end up just being backstabbed by my old friends. I believe I had shared the same story around Trading Discussion board before. It's really not for everyone.

Oh family members, don't even get me started in handling responsibility for them when you tell them about the advantage of Bitcoin as an investment and as a currency. You would be held responsible when they encounter losses.

It indeed creates opportunity. It's just like an open door for everyone.
That’s the sad reality when you are the one teaching and convincing them to believe about bitcoin, because once they start investing and experience sudden losses, you’re the only one that will be held responsible for their losses. That’s the reason why educating bitcoin for its adoption is never my thing. Maybe if you’ll ask me to teach bitcoin for you, then I’d be very willing to but forcing the people to learn just to spread adoption, I guess that’s just very unreasonable.

Not everyone will embrace Bitcoin, and that is something to keep in mind. It's natural for some individuals to be skeptical, and that's fine. Do we actually reside in a free nation?

The fact that Bitcoin has the potential to disrupt established financial systems is both its greatest strength and its greatest vulnerability. They are split between the familiarity of centralized institutions and the unfamiliarity of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This internal debate is not something we should try to ignore. Instead, we need to learn as much as possible about it.

Instead of becoming upset with individuals who don't get Bitcoin or don't care, let's work together to make the Bitcoin community more accessible, instructive, and helpful to those who are interested. For Bitcoin's development, this is crucial!

Bitcoin is for everyone, but not everyone is obligated to use it or accept it as a means of payment or anything like that.
It doesn't matter how many countries do not support its adoption, but what is clear is that bitcoin has the same criteria to be used as a means of payment. Bitcoin is an alternative solution for anyone willing to accept it as a means of payment, but it is never mandatory so bitcoin is only useful for those willing to accept it.

We can just share knowledge about bitcoin but convincing someone other is not an easy task because everyone has different opinions and they can think about their profit personally. One can also not easily convinced from bitcoin investment because new comers are in a fear of losing money when they heard that risks are also involved in it.
There are a lot of innovations that bitcoin has brought in its financial system, so anyone who wants to learn about it, of course they will get more knowledge. Bitcoin is not legal currency in most countries, but bitcoin has also been used as legal currency in several countries. There are many places in various countries that have adopted bitcoin as a means of payment, so bitcoin is not only useful as an investment asset or a traded asset.

What's your take, guys?

My take on this? Well, I think convincing people and shove it down their throat on what bitcoin is all about doesn't seem right. IMO, it is not the correct approach on how you introduce bitcoin to others. Convincing is what most scammers do to buy their products, so we would want to avoid that type of approach as much as possible, some people might think you're desperate to scam them.
They should develop the interest first and when they seek advice to enlighten them about bitcoin, then that would be the perfect time to educate them.

Bitcoin is not for everyone. Although some have been dying to have a portion of it, but others still doubted the potentials of bitcoin and still think that it won’t be valuable in the long run. And those who have been seeing bitcoin like this are actually those who know nothing about bitcoin in the first place. However, despite of those negative treatments for bitcoin, there are still some who left firm on their decision and believe bitcoin no matter what. And clearly, these kind of people are what we need for bitcoin adoption, not those who are just greedy to invest at first but when they start seeing losses, then they start to curse bitcoin.

And those who have been seeing bitcoin like this are actually those who know nothing about bitcoin in the first place.

Even with the knowledge about Bitcoin, each person has their own preference.  Some are uncomfortable spending their money to invest in Bitcoin because of its decentralized nature.  They worried that if something goes wrong, there is no entity to come after too, unline licensed company that offers investment plans.

Well, there are people like us who believe in the decentralized nature of Bitcoins and since we have enough knowledge that Bitcoin has strong liquidity, we are not afraid to spend our extra money to invest and accumulate Bitcoin over time since we have known the fact that Bitcoin increase in price every cycle.

Seeing a lot of people are still doubtful and suspicious about bitcoin, then I have to say that not everyone is liking the existence of bitcoin. Some have embraced it with so much eagerness while others dare to never trust bitcoin in the first place. So it’s a certain fact that bitcoin is not for everyone. However, let us know that even if bitcoin adoption will not be granted easily, but knowing bitcoin has high potentials to succeed in the future, then it’s value will never stop growing and it’s utility case will also be more useful in the end.

OP is right, bitcoin is not fiat currency that must be used by everyone. The limited supply of bitcoin makes it not available for everyone because as time goes on the poor ones will not be able to buy bitcoin due to the high price of bitcoin. It is just like gold that the poor ones knows it is expensive and base on their little income, they will not be able to buy gold. Bitcoin price is based on demand and supply, the more people keep buying, the lower the supply. If almost half of the people in the world own bitcoin,I guess that the price will hit 500k-700k which will become a problem to an average man to buy. It is only the interested ones that knows the potential of bitcoin or that loves decentralization that will adopt bitcoin, some people still believe that without the government nothing will survive, such people wouldn't adopt bitcoin.

That's some false logic. There isn't any price of Bitcoin that will make it too high for people to buy because there are 100 million Satoshi in every Bitcoin. Anyone can buy any amount of Satoshi they want. Even at $10 million per bitcoin a Satoshi would only be worth 10 cents, and by the time Bitcoin reaches $10 million 10 cents will probably be inflated down to less than 5 cents in today's money. Also by that time almost certainly most people will be primarily interacting with L2 so even for people living in poor areas buying say 50 sats at a time won't be a problem.

Also, by the time half of the people in the world own Bitcoin (if it ever gets to that many people) the price will be many times higher than 500k-700k. 500k-700k will almost certainly be surpassed before a billion people own Bitcoin, let alone 4 billion.

But yes Bitcoin is certainly not for everyone. I honestly doubt we'll ever get to a point at which even half the world's population has Bitcoin unless humanity goes through a widespread monetary and govt collapse and the world's economy has to rebuild itself on Bitcoin. But the benefits unique to Bitcoin remain relevant for everyone, whether or not they decide to own some bitcoin or not. The primary benefits of course being hard immutable money, open global payment platform, and self-storage, backed by globally decentralized security. Bitcoin will always be valuable for anyone looking to save money or spend money, and it will always be extremely valuable for people looking to store long term wealth with self-sovereignty, flee oppressive areas, spend internationally without worrying about exchanging between currencies, and for economically repressed people who aren't allowed to engage in established economy.

Bitcoin is for everyone because anyone can invest in bitcoin whether rich or poor, but the point is that some people will like it and some will not. Just like when we talk about investing, not everyone is interested in investing, there are also many people who prefer doing other things than investing.
Everyone has different opinions and thoughts, so don't impose your thoughts on others. Convincing or trying to force someone to use bitcoin is a bad idea and a waste of time. That's why I'm against teaching kids bitcoin, it's more like coercion than education.

Even other people are viewing it as an illegal currency, thinking that it was only used in deep pockets, just like they hear in the news. People really don't want to get corrected or change their bias when they first hear it because once they hear that it is illegal, they will think of it all the time, which makes them very hard to convince. Also, teaching Bitcoin to kids is good, but the way better approach to this is to teach them not only Bitcoin but financial awareness so that even as kids, they are already financially aware.

The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?

There are still a lot of people who have no idea about Bitcoin or the crypto currency market, and there are people who have heard about Bitcoin but have no interest in Bitcoin. The fact is that people who are not familiar with the complete information about Bitcoin and its features will never gain interest, because Bitcoin doesn't have a specific form and people who don't know about digital currency don't believe it easily. We should make our family members and our friends aware about Bitcoin. If someone does not show interest in our opinion, we should not be offended at all. There are also people who start getting interested in Bitcoin at our suggestion. So we must continue our campaign to attract people about Bitcoin. If we ourselves earn profits by making good investments and entry in Bitcoin at the right time, then even after seeing our profit, our close people will definitely be interested in Bitcoin. I think this way people can be attracted to Bitcoin without putting too much effort on them.

I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them

The thing is I can see the perspective of these people, even if they're going about it the wrong way. They have good intentions for their friends and family member so they try to introduce them to something they think would help their life.
They might have this feeling that they're selfish or holding out on those close to them. Maybe the person makes money from Bitcoin as a trader or any other means and he would like to educate those close to him about it too, but where I draw the line is feeling it's a must for them to buy the idea.

What I suggest is just tell them about Bitcoin, the features, the advantages, the risks etc. Any one that is interested should go make his own research and you should coach him or her any way you can. Make sure they really understand what Bitcoin is all about and what it stands for. You don't have to get angry if someone doesn't want to use Bitcoin, it's their choice.

I am one of the people you mentioned, I believe that without government, nothing would exist. Like in a herd, there must always be a leader, without a leader, everyone is equal, and the world will be ruined. Just because you want freedom, you eliminate the role of government, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Don't forget, you have a peaceful life, no war, no robbers, you have all the comforts in life...all with great contributions from the government.
I don't like how governments control central banks, create inflation of fiat currencies and put their citizens in worse life by negative effects from inflation or in some countries, hyper inflations. I don't like how they corrupted and became richer while their citizens became poorer by inflation as well as how they failed to keep their promises from their propaganda to be elected by citizens.

However, I see we still need governments to keep societies in orders. I don't want to live in a country, a society with an anarchic status because my life will be in danger. In such an anarchic society, my prosperity will become a big risk to end my life.

Quote
I need government, but I am still investing and very bullish on bitcoin. And for me, Bitcoin is just an asset, and it's just a tool to make money, it can't take on any government role.
Bitcoin will become more interesting for investors when they see bad inflation from fiat currencies and realize that Bitcoin has become more strongly surviving after many years, many bear markets and many tests from governments to kill Bitcoin and its network. They will see it as a safe heaven to avoid inflation from central banks.

Yes, I don't deny that the government has not done a good job of managing the country, they are corrupt causing a lot of people to fall into poverty. But let's ask the question, we criticize them as corrupt but if we are the government. Are we corrupt? Human greed is the same, but because we are not like them, we envy them. So instead, let's look at the better side of them that we could have in an ordered world.

I still consider bitcoin a long-term investment and it can become an inflation hedge in the long-term, but due to its high volatility I don't think it's suitable as a safe haven.

Bitcoin is created for everyone but some people choose to stay away because they don't understand what this digital currency is all about, some people don't even know that there is something that has no inflation and it's form of money, if they have this knowledge maybe they will have interest right away, this is why I don't want to stop smearing the news about Bitcoin to those that come closer to me, it's safer to have money in Bitcoin than banks now, my local currency just lost an extra 100 to the dollar, inflation is killing us hard here and the only advantage I have is most of my money are in Bitcoin and USD, I would have been down a lot of I am holding fiat today.

Bitcoin can be viewed in two different ways:

On the one hand, it is an innovation that can change the world, ridding us of unfair commissions, and also making the entire circulation of money in the world transparent. As a technology that came to us with the blockchain, it will not go anywhere, but will only develop. This is usually what real crypto enthusiasts think, and this is the opinion they share with family and friends.

On the other hand, bitcoin is a speculative tool that is manipulated for profit. And this is an integral part of its meaning. Therefore, you need to remember about the risk if you promise earnings on crypto exchanges and investments.
At the same time, you should always remember that bitcoin is a bad haven for money in bad times, unlike gold, for example. And if things are bad in the world, then people buy gold, leaving cryptocurrencies.

I think, there is no prohibition against anyone commenting on BTC whatever so to speak. What we need as listeners, just smile. That's why people don't understand. For sure, in my opinion. BTC will Keep on moving and revolutionizing the Future Financial Industry accept it or not and it is the mainstream of Digital finance.

It's true that when you expect something to happen and it doesn't, it hurts. That is also true with Bitcoin; if you expect someone to have a favorable attitude toward Bitcoin but instead receive negativity, you will be disappointed. It may have an impact on your positive outlook and deplete your energy, especially if you are emotionally affected by such statements. I understand that we want to assist others better their life in the future by teaching them about Bitcoin, but we must keep in mind that not everyone will agree and respond positively to you. You can easily go on and never be disappointed this way.
