I had never played in kicktipp and I'm disappointed now lol.
Well, it's not for me only. The point system is applied to everyone but still it really not a good one in my opinion. Let me share why I think so.

Today, in the match between Bayern and Augsburg, the result is 3-1. I picked 4-1, so basically, I had a close call and the difference was only 1 goal.
I got 2 points from the match. While whoever has predicted 2-0, has got 3 points. A prediction of 2-0 while the result is 3-1, is a difference of 2 goals. I don't know how they calculate lol. Again, just saying I did not like but it's fine as applied for all 

Its calculated different on Kicktipp.
I see what u mean, your result is closer to it if you take the number of goals, but in the tip of 2-0 the exact goal difference is taken (2 goals) and that's what matters @ Kicktipp.

On Superbru or so it is calculated differently and I think u are used to that.

So I'd say the only way for me to win this bonus pick is if Bremen fails inconceivably hard and messes up the early season against lower level opponents because then Bremen has to make a decision. Let the team continue against stronger teams with the same coach who messed up the beginning of the season against weaker teams? Or is it time for a change and new impulses from a new coach?

so i could even bet that OW won't be the first coach to be sacked this season.
after yesterday's results, i also see my personal bonus pick with the coach of vfl bochum at risk. because if bor. mönchengladbach continues like this (as in the first two matchdays) i see Gerardo Seoane more at risk than any other coach.

I still think that there is a chance for him to get sacked first and as I mentioned before, it is now against Mainz at home and then Heidenheim away. If Bremen does not win any of those two games, I think discussions about him will begin. And by the way, wouldn't it also be the responsibility of the club to raise their voices? Maybe not publicly, but I doubt OW would still be safe. Of course some of the other teams aren't really known for sticking to their coaches for very long when things don't go well, but this would be a disaster for Bremen. The first game came with an excuse because hey, it is Bayern Munich. The second game is also ok because Freiburg has shown that they are very resilient in their home games. But now there is Mainz and Heidenheim and that would exhaust the potential for any excuses if Bremen loses those games.

Nah, the 1.00 on the "W" column is not a point. Its comparable with the yellow hat on Superbru. It means that you won a Gameweek.
For example:

If you manage to win a second GW it will count up to 2. If two people have the same points for a GW it will be split up and everyone gets an additional 0.5 to this column.

Last season the champion was decided exactly as you said. Even though bullrunbro and Lemming finished the season with 419 points, bullrunbro who was more successful in column W gained right to win the big prize by becoming the champion. Some small details which aren't cared about within the season can really be decisive.

the crediting of the free bets (so far it was only the welcome free bet and the first two matchdays) i must say, runs without problems and much smoother than it was still last season with betnomi the case.
even if something is forgotten, there is immediately a feedback and the free bet is 'subsequently submitted'

mainz's next game is also at winless werder bremen. fsv will miss 2 regulars due to injury, Ludovic Ajorque and Maxim Leitsch were injured on the last matchday and are therefore out. another regular may leave mainz today - midfielder Anton Stach will leave the club and most likely sign a new contract with league rivals tsg hoffenheim.

as for dortmund... bvb plays against promoted heidenheim. anything other than a clear win against the league newcomer would be a big surprise and would cause unrest at borussia

To me the Union Berlin vs. Leipzig and the Bremen vs. Mainz game are the most interesting ones. Union would be off to a perfect start if they also can prevail against Leipzig. That would be ideal for them and I think they would have convinced some people who weren't quite sure what to think of Union Berlin this season.

Bremen vs. Mainz is the obvious one: if this game finds a winner, the loser will be fatally demolished for the time being.

good thing for both Mainz and Bremen is that we have to newcomers that are seen to fight for relegation - Darmstadt and Heidenheim, and both teams are yet to get first point in Bundesliga this season

but Bremen has to win this one, two loses at the start are due to having first match at home against Bavarians, but some points should reach Bremen account sooner than later, to feel better

Dortmund on Friday is a good pick, but odds are too low to consider it without handicap, and they are not scoring easy with Jude

But nah, my maiden Bundesliga good start is false. I predict these days based on anecdotal experience. I watched Freiburg a bit last season and has my fav player there, so I went for wins the way I think they will. My insistence to pick teams I "know" over the wisdom of odds will get to me later on.

I sometimes wonder how I'd do if I put in the same research effort I do in BSFL into these pools, but I suspect that leads to overthinking.

I wasn't following Bundesliga much but I again like Freiburg win, (bet on that + Doan goal is 6/1). Gladbach's given me a lot of joy in past seasons vs Bayern too, so for no other reason other than psychology, I not only bet on them but put my picks for them too.
