Just wish I could wring a bit more out of Freiburg, I think the problem with them and Union is I have an unshakeable bias with their players. And when I go against them, as I did with Union, they actually win. Goddamn =)

You and me both, I even forgot to make prediction for the game. Of all stupid ways to loose the points that one has to be in the lead I am quite sure this is my worst round in the pool.

Impressive result. Not the hightest score among rounds but 5 games were guessed correctly and 3 of them were the exact score. Wow... how much of a difference this makes! I see that Hhampuz guessed 6 results but earned 5 points less due to the fact that he did not guess the exact score anywhere. I also guessed 5 results but received almost half as many points since I was far from the exact score

And it really happened - he went with 1:1 in all games this round. After all, it didn't helped him much as he dropped by 1 place. It would be interesting to hear something about from @Ulven himself, what his plan was. If I would go with same pick in all games, I doubt that I would go with 1:1 score.

This strategy has a right to life - in some rounds there are a lot of draws and if this was one of these rounds, he could take first place. The probability of a 1-1 draw is higher than the probability of a 0-0 or 2-2 draw (unless of course it is an African teams where 0-0 seems more likely) so his choice is quite logical. By the way, for those who are already far behind the leaders and their only goal is to get the yellow cap at least a few times, this strategy can work well.

thanks man, it was second yellow cap in last three rounds, and fourth this season, can't say that I am complaining
bearing in mind that Leverkusen crashed at home, and Leipzig was stormed by Stuttgart, that was without Guirassy, five guessed scores is great

regarding tactics with 1:1 score, it is more suitable to kick-tipp point system, than to Superbru, since 1:1 will get you 3 points for each draw, and 4 points for 1:1 score (in Superbru is 1:1 3 points, but others 1,5, or 1 for 3:3 for example)

Wow I'm surprised! My opinion was probably influenced by memories of the qualifying tournament for the World Cup (where there were few goals scored at all) and the match day in the African Cup on January 24th when all three of these 0-0 draws happened in a row.
Apparently the rule “if you bet on draws, choose 1-1” always works in all tournaments.

By the way, despite Bayer losing points, the odds are quite adequate:

Fc Bayern Munich 1.59

Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2.21

+59% for Bayern even looks attractive.

Well you missed me. Granted I shared the top with couple of people so maybe it doesn't count. Not that it matters, I got my free bet in any case.
