I don't know who I want for Liverpool, but if I were a neutral, I'd want Alonso to stay on after (if?) he wins the title. The Bayern monopoly is an undesirable symptom of Bundesliga. A great league that promotes responsible management, with 2. Bund attendances last week even higher than the top tier (and anyway they have better attendances than La Liga and Serie A) are the fruits of sound policy, but for some reason, it also created a monster in financial domination.

Tiki-taka and gegenpress, remember, that was the only time Bayern was made to stumble from the throne, it does seem appropriate that the same shades threaten again.

Will it be in the form of the position in kicktipp? I think kicktipp ranks based on some other factors when there's a tie.

if at the end of the season there is a tie somewhere in the top three places, then the respective number of matchday wins of each user is taken first (namely the matchday wins where the user is the only player to have won the matchday)
then kicktipp automatically ranks the players according to this criterion (see also column 'w' in the overall ranking)
if one player wins the matchday alone, he gets a '1'. if two players win a game day, each gets 0.5 points, and so on.

Thanks for the tag, been good at remembering for the last few weeks; this one slipped my attention. Mainz is a bookie favourite this week -- a rare occurrence and one I won't ignore since I'm always going against them. Does anyone feel like Bayern are due another slip on horrendous form? I think so, and Freiburg are my perennial pick -- have to do different this week too as my position is deteriorating, so it's not like I really have a choice.

It was a very good week for me indeed, I check the pool's leaderboard later on Saturday night after all the matches for Saturday had been concluded, I saw I had amassed a total of 16 points then, 1 point behind the current game week leader, and then I proceeded to check my predictions for the Sunday games, and honestly I was tempted to alter my 2-0 prediction win for Bayer Leverkusen, I just shrugged the thought off by saying to myself that I got 16 points with altering any of my prediction from the time made them so I might just as well let it slide as such, then lo and behold, I got 2 exact score for final 2 games. I really didn't see it coming, but I hope I can keep the trend up and climb up a few places more

The last two rounds really destroyed your ranking. Funnily enough you won round 22 to then fail big time in round 23 and 24. But you really took some risk with your picks.

It is now quite a close race again. A few weeks ago I didn't expect to have a chance to make it into the money. But the spreads are quite crazy within just a single round. So it's still possible with a lucky punch round to make up for these two disappointing rounds.

Kane has scored a hat-trick and with 13 games left is just 11 goals behind Lewandowski's record. Now it seems to me that he will break this record and with a margin.

That's actually a fact that many people are missing because Bayer Leverkusen makes Bayern Munich look worse than they are. As you said, last season wasn't a good season either, but things are completely different when there is not some team that is playing so brilliantly like Leverkusen. I seriously hope that Bayer Leverkusen won't mess this up again! It's hard to imagine, but you know the so called "Bayern-Dusel", which is that somehow they are the lucky winners in the end. Last year it was Dortmund messing it up big time. There are still some tough games to be played against Dortmund and Stuttgart, but I think they are good to go if they don't lose the game against Wolfsburg this weekend.
