Just read Union parted ways with Bjelica, a footnote in Bundesliga of course but I was more interested in Bochum signing a deal with Pacific FC -- I always assumed extraterritorial feeder club deals didn't exist in German football because it wasn't allowed, but I guess no one tried it yet? Or someone will correct me =)

And yes, I know Salzburg is practically Leipzig's feeder, but that's a bit more obvious with... sister owners or affiliate management or whatever RB managed to do with it.

If we look into the other key of Champions League we have the two worst nightmare of Borussia Dortmund, the absolute king od europe Real Madrid and the king of germany and father or grandfather of Dortmund Bayern Munich so...... the chances are now 5%.

So only 1 in 20? If BVB gets Bayern and win (Real look too good right now though, but Kane had a couple of good through balls), I know I should bet against them in the next 18 UCL Der Klassiker

I believe that the game is quite open. Seriously, Dortmund managed to keep a clean sheet in Paris against Mbappe and many other players of high quality. And it was this luck when they hit the post like six times or five times, that Dortmund might need once again. How small the margin now was between Madrid and Bayern, it was a slap in the face for Bayern on an individual level for Neuer with his mistake. Without that mistake Madrid wouldn't have had that second breath. But these minor mistakes have significant impact. Oliver Kahn knows it and I think this was the most painful mistake by Neuer in his career? I guess it was. Then the problem with the referee in minute 104. Pff, I think if someone placed big bets in that game, some of the people probably suffered from heart attacks. It is unpredictable sometimes.


Too bad though that the Bundesliga pools come to an end for a while. Always fun.

I have also submitted my picks for the final round. last week was an awful one for me because I dropped a number of places and that was due to second guessing my instinct... I hope I can breaking pack into the top four, but it is going to be tough task, maybe a few risks I took will play out fine, if not it's going to be my personal biggest fumble in any pool.. I've never dropped out of a prized position with just 2 rounds left in any pool before.

I have a feeling Augsburg will make at least a draw against Leverkusen as I simply cannot believe a team can end an entire season + Europa League without a single defeat. So many twist and turns to end the season I kept checking the score and following each update, I climbed up to 4th position with around 25 minutes to, then different goals from different match start popping in, only for me to end up 9th on the leaderboard 

So much for holding a position for 8+ weeks and losing out on the final day

It was one heck of a season, with fierce competition till the very end. A bit surprised i ended up winning the pool...still, in my defense, i watched almost every game (extended highlights) of every round and closely followed teams/league news. I didn't have many explosive high-scoring rounds, but my consistent performance throughout the year paid out handsomely.
