Jumping  on this, I will say that the advice I got from all of this is to have a budget for gambling and not gamble only what we can afford to lose as money lost in gambling doesn't come back easily as there is nothing certain in gambling.
On the other hand,  I've  always known that it is very difficult  to have a budget for gambling especially  if one isn't a heavy or frequent gambler and I'm saying this precisely from my personal experience because I know that since I don't gamble frequently expect in some cases, what i do is just use any available money I'm willing to risk to place the bet at that very time.
I heard of a story of a boy who lost out of a sure game simply because he had a limit on his gambling amount for the day and this is a case of strict self discipline.

It seems like you are wrong in judging that gambling is a positive thing, there are many other things that are more positive and that is not gambling.

Back to the main topic, when gambling, you need to be careful because if you're not careful, it will only waste your money

Yes, maybe this can be equated with trading but for me it is a little different from gambling because trading loses it balance value gradually when the price falls but for gambling it loses the entire balance if we place our bet incorrectly, but still both must have patience and good thinking be careful when doing anything that is risky to avoid losing more.
For me, practicing patience or placing bets carefully doesn't require doing things that are too difficult to do because not everyone understands the method you mentioned because the best way for me is just knowing how the gambling business works.
