I'm eagerly waiting for the betting odds. I think Serbia will be the slight favorite here, but regardless, I would still bet on Serbia to win. Germany could be stopped if Schroder is limited, which might make them struggle a bit, but it's a question of how Serbia will accomplish that.

Both really are unpredictable and it wasn't expected that they'll be the teams to reach the finals. I'm on that thought of what if is Jokic was even part of the national team of Serbia then for sure that many will choose them as the favorites.

I lost all of my bets well you can really never tell the outcome of the game and there are really monster teams outside of the NBA in what I see in these Fiba games or maybe because their chemistry was something we should not underestimate aswell and both teams if you examine their team they are link 2 teams that combined to be one so they have known each other and each other's playing pattern that is why their movement is so slick what I notice about Serbia and Germany team, surely if I have known this ahead maybe there can be a different outcome but surely I am surely witnessing these teams 1st hand

There’s indeed a better team aside from NBA Teams but we cannot deny that NBA players are still better compare to other players and let’s understand that its actually a Team C of USA meaning its not the top NBA players at all. Well, a loss is a loss and team USA should not make any excuses and just better to play better in the battle for third. Losing a bet is normal, I also lose some but its ok at least they still made it a great game and make it more intense.

I have seen that some places are allowing bets for the third place, which will be between USA and Canada, and I think USA will be playing better due to their loss to Germany, they will have more fire so I am going to bet on USA to win that game. This news came as a shock to me, especially considering they were the defending champions of the event. What happened? How did they not qualified after being so strong last FIBA World Cup?

And they were champions of the FIBA Eurobasket so yes it was surprising that they were brought down as early as the second round. The Kurucs brothers are so strong and they are young with lots of improvement that can be seen in their talents. I'd be eyeing on this country on the Olympics and the next event after that.

Latvia win over Lithuania today was pretty surprising, didn't watch, but seems that Lithuania surrendered in 3rd quarter, and Latvia scored everything
in the end, 30+ difference, which is remarkable

tomorrow, 3rd place match will be full of points, I will put over points for sure, and match can slide on any side, I don't expect defense to play at all

I said that these 5-8 placement games doesn't matters, but still, it's just shameful to lose against Latvia by 35 points. Latvia made 16 of 32 3-pointers (50%), it's better than our 2 point FG and free throws %. New Latvia star Arturs Zagars made made all time World Cup record with 17 assists.
In 4th quarter it already looked that Italy took control of game with 2 points lead, but already in next attack Doncic mae great pass to Cebasek who was completely free in corner and dropped 3 pointer. It was probably decisive moment. It was last game for Gigi Datome in professional basketball. He had memeorable career and his farewell was nice.

Seems that you didn't followed not just European qualifiers, but also this FIBA World Cup. Spain got eliminated quite early after 2nd round when they unexpected lost to Latvia and then decisive game against Canada.

The matchup is very interesting, but the strategy you mentioned, which is to put pressure on Schröder, might not work in this game. Why? Because many teams have already tried that, and yet Germany still remains undefeated in the tournament so far. I would just think that Serbia will have to play better in the game to beat Germany. It turns out Germany was the slight favorite to win, but the difference wasn't so significant, so let's call it a 50-50 game. If I recall correctly, this is the first time I've witnessed both teams viewed with equal chances to win, and that makes it very interesting to watch, as fans will be cheering for both. If it had been the USA that advanced to the Finals, it wouldn't be as interesting as it is now, so there's a reason why we witnessed two upsets in the semi-finals.

I am curious if Lebron James will still compete at 38 years old. But he is probably the oldest American to play in their team. The same with KD although he is younger so he might really play. Kawhi Leonard has a big contract yet he only played a few games during his stay with the Clippers so I assume that his team won't allow him to play outside the NBA. I heard before that both the US and France want Joel Embiid. Maybe Embiid will finally decide which country he will represent next year. Will it be the defending champions USA or the host country France?

It starts with the bookies but but the odds sway based on the amount of bets that come in.  If big money comes in on Germany than it will lower theor odds even more.  That's why popular NBA teams like the Lakers always have terrible odds because people bet on them a lot even when they shouldnt be.

Too bad for USA for losing at a very close game, I really though they will be the one heading to the final but again, this is very unpredictable.
Now playing with Serbia, I think this will not be an easy game and the way Germany played against USA, they can have a good chance of winning over Serbia.
I see Serbia as a solid team as well, and because of that I will also take the risk and will take a bet to Serbia just to get back my losses for betting with USA. 

Dennis Schroder is pretty much great in Team Germany while not so much in the NBA, well You can say that FIBA is now in a different league, and looking at Team Germany I can say they are a tough nut to crack, even without Dennis Schroder on the team I think they will do well against any team there is while the USA is the 2nd best team they can played with for sure Serbia is going to be a tough game for them with Bogdanovic leading the team,

Wanted to see the US play in the Finals but Germany was the better team today.  I actually wanted to see US vs Canada in the finals so at least we will get to see that.  As a knick fan it will be fun to see j brunsen and rj compete against each other.  Haven't checked but the odds got to be almost even on that game no?

They did what they could but it was really a hard game for sure Steve Kerr has already said and I think he really did what he could in the game but there is no answer to that at all, Germany is a team that excels in good passing, and the team Bayern Munchen is the real reason for giving them great results in the Basketball league, I really think that they will make even great progress next year, so the NBA better think fast to send their all-stars or not in the FIBA or getting them stuck in the NBA, because I have seen greater progress for a player while playing in the FIBA for sure, that Paul George incident was just a coincidence and not a curse,

There are indeed monsters outside NBA and extremely great players as well, these players that are representing the aren't the best of the NBA rather, the best of the lower 30/35% ? right, I would not associated Canada and USA's loss to the fact that it's due to better players than those of NBA, because these losses can be said to have been facilitated by the NBA players from the opposing teams, I know basketball doesn't evolve around NBA alone and there are other fantastic and players out there in Europe and Asia or other parts of the world that will dominate in the NBA.

However, the USA or Canadian national basketball team is never a standard to hold or judge the NBA by, in my candid opinion.

For sure this FIBA World Cup will be an eye-opener for many and for the NBA to not give proper importance to sending their best players in it but sure their reasoning is also not wrong for the new young talents will surely gain quite experience in this event, but still, I think the lost of the USA team will serve as a wake-up call that there are greats outside of the NBA and the NBA is not a base of superiority when it comes to a peak in Basketball and getting out the mentality that if there is an NBA player in a team that team will likely succeed, which is Correct and Wrong at the same time because there are no proper answer to it, but equality,


Now my picks for the last two games of the FIBA World Cup,

USA VS Canada

For sure it is a close game mostly due to all the losses of the USA but Canada can not be underestimated They are also a solid team and their losses are close enough and as I have said not because there are many NBA players on the team doesn't mean they will likely win but there are surely not wrong aswell, and so I think the game between Germany the USA team is quite formidable so my pick is the USA team,

Germany VS Serbia

For the finals, this is really an interesting choice, and who's going to be FIBA champions for sure Serbia has given their all in their previous games and it is not shocking enough that they are winning against Canada while many are surely giving credit to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander I really think Bogdan Bogdanovic wasn't given much attention at all but for this game Germany will surely get this game they have Bayern Munchen backing them up,
