@OP, Honestly I don't like to airdrop. Because I believe most people are cheated through airdrops. However, not all airdrops are the same and cheat. But one thing you must believe is that most of the airdrops cannot be sold even if you pay them. Because they are not listed anywhere. About airdrop I would suggest you to create a new wallet account if you want to airdrop so that your funds can be safe.

It's not an actual airdrop, but it's a scam attempt from a scammer trying to steal the funds of OP. As soon as he would connect his wallet to that website and accept the contract in the decentralized wallet app such as MetaMask, they would empty his wallet and take everything it contains. Have you ever seen a project approaching people privately that they've won a certain amount of tokens and they should claim them? That's bizarre, if someone thinks it is true, they are basically out of their mind.

Scammers are always looking for different new ways to try and scam people, especially Telegram is full of them. When you join a group chat related to cryptocurrencies, you will most definitely get a couple of direct messages right after joining the group, others will approach with some patience so that you don't find it suspicious.

Nothing is free, you see. Currently, to obtain an airdrop, we have to complete a multitude of tasks for a project. Sometimes, even after completing numerous tasks, you might not receive the project's tokens. What you're mentioning, be cautious about it, use a new wallet with no assets to link to it.

Yes you are absolutely right. Scammers continue to try to trick everyone by creating thousands of airdrops and often succeed. However, these scammers will not always ask you to add a wallet to their website to take advantage of them. There are many other methods by which they can easily cheat people. For example: Sometimes bots create airdrops and show many tokens or dollars. But there are some rules to withdraw them such as certain amount of dollars or certain amount of tokens will be required. After completing everything to withdraw they will give an address saying they need to pay network fee. Otherwise there will be no withdrawal. Even in this way, many people cheat.

Moreover if they can give you 480$ worth altcoins then 20/30$ fee isn't a big deal. Hope you already got that, the coin you mentioned isn't pure or you should rather ask Sweat Economy community for verification
That will imply how important of not to trust strangers too quickly. Social media, especially telegram has been a medium of scams, it was easy to use known names and even make use of fake profiles. Yes, those legit platforms or projects will never be asking any amount from their investors for transaction fees.
well said. Legit projects use to announcement such airdrops, give away news on their community and their verified social account. They don't have time to knock people door to door but scammers do such things. I had tried to help people who knocked me in on social media but i realise 99% of them are scammers. Besides shouldn't click any link provided by strangers. Coins may real but airdrop or giveaway is fake

Also, you need to create another email for it because you don't want to use your personal email not every airdrop out there is safe to join because others are only interested in getting your contacts to send you some offers that are not true or they will just sell your emails to others that will gonna use it for their scams and sent you some baits in order to lure you to get your money from you. Anyway, when Airdrops are legit, as soon as you receive them, you can check where it is listed and see the transaction histories because sometimes when the coins are sold multiple times, they are truly legit and you can also sell them there.

AFAIK, sweatcoin was a project that deals with fitness matters like it is going to reward you for your jogging and how many miles you'll take.

That's what the easiest understanding I've got from them. But if someone gives you free money, do you think that it's right when you know that you have never joined an airdrop?

There must be something wrong with that and that should raise a red flag for that. It will give you a better and stronger sense if they want you to connect your wallet to get that airdrop.

I totally get what you're saying! Scammers try to trick people by claiming to offer free airdrops, but that's not how it works. Legitimate airdrops require active participation, like completing tasks or being involved with a specific project. When projects do airdrops, they make official announcements and have a claiming phase or directly send the tokens to your wallet. It's important to remember that there's no such thing as free money in crypto – your active participation is always needed to earn those bucks! Stay smart and stay safe!

I don't know if there are people who already earned enough from the move to earn projects like this, especially those who loves outdoor adventure and fitness activities.

However, on this one it looks like it's a scam. You literally don't wanna pay something for an airdrop and most especially get a notifications into something you have never participated.
So, only fool would believe to that kind of trick.
I remembered this scam trick is similar to that random SMS I received saying my mobile number have won from the latest draw of some lottery sh*t lol.

There’s no such thing as free money on airdrop especially if the amount involved is surreal. On your screenshot, you received approximately 500USD without any effort to claim it while legit airdrop needs participantion in both investments and time to use the networks before they gave you an airdrop.

I disagree, there is free money. It’s just now that airdrops have a very huge percentage of scams, there’s a lot of garbage out there right now and there’s no way to completely tell what’s real and what’s not. I remember the days when Uniswap did their airdrop and distributed 400 UNI to each wallet. At the time UNI was worth $3 each. I know it wasn’t on TG like what OP posted; I also think scam of most of the airdrops sent with TG bots, but then, I’ve had people get free tokens from these telegram bots by just joining their groups and following their socials.

Not only fool will fall for this trick, because you will be surprised on how many people will let their guard and greed get to them. The type of scam trial is being tried all the time just because of some folks still fall victim and if you are greedy type or the not so exposed one then you might be part of the minority that would find out is a practical a scam aimed at luring the weak and stricken them of their little money.

There's enough profits to be milk from the system, all we need is the appropriate information. Sweat coin is an airdrop that is accumulated when a participant is able to engaged in walking, and he gains sweat coins. There are enough projects to make research about in the system, we just have to apply caution when dealing with the system. There are scams and legitimate projects in the space, it's important we're able to invest our significant capital on these legitimate projects. There are free airdrops in the market but these projects comes with certain entitle jobs. For one a to gain free airdrops, there are available tasks that must be completed to achieve this purpose.

It's true that there are some legit airdrops out there but the only problem is that how easy is it to find these so legit airdrops because with the way scam projects are everywhere, finding an airdrops that actually works will be kind of hard to identify and even if you find one how possible is it that they will actually enlisted the particular coins In any exchange for you to actually get something out of it.

So am not all that into airdrop but some of my guys have been disturbing like hell to take part saying of these airdrop do actually pay so I later let me send me some airdrop link and I tried this one particular one {sweat coin} but for some time I have not done anything with this but I do get lots of notification on my telegram. And I saw an interesting message which I said I should ask the community how real is it about the message sent to me by sweat coin.

You haven't done anything, you received that kind of amount? Isn't is suspicious already.

I don't know the exact reason why there are some people who are doing this kind of thing in Telegram, but avoid these kind of airdrops at all costs. I mean where do these people get that kind of money to just give it to random stranger for free? If it's Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos or any rich businessmen out there then it's possible, but I don't think that they'll be doing this as well.

Overall, we already said that this is a scam attempt, and there's no way for you to get that money for free. Well, you can try if you want if you're too curious about it as long as you will not give anything that's personal for you, but just by looking at that picture, it's pretty obvious that it isn't real.
They will not give such tokens without anything in return because for sure they will ask first to send eth or any alts to push through the transaction. Well, only newbies or those who are not careful can fall into this trap.

i really wonder how people fall for these kinds of trap

i mean maybe those really tempted by money would have all their logic thrown out of the window once they see the amount being given to them but still wouldn’t they be more careful knowing they have wallets and assets to protect? why give it carelessly even for this much big of amount? even for newbies?

no one can’t possibly think this is charity i can’t even think of a possible excuse why would they give you this much money without requiring any effort or time from you this is why being a critical thinker is a must!

You can be surprised what the human greed can do, I mean some people are just too greedy that they would do anything just to claim some free money they feel is real but there is one clear note in today world which is the fact that nothing is actually free and whenever you are flagged with some kind of free means to acquire money, it is definitely a scam project but the only thing is that some people still tend to tell themselves lies just to be in the deception that they can actually claim such free money.

I remember that long time ago when just having an email made you the most knowledgeable person in all things related to technology among your group of friends, a friend of mine was incredibly happy and I could not help to ask him why that was the case, and he told me he had won 10k on the lottery, I was happy for him but as soon as he explained to me that he got an email that said this I told him it was a scam, at first he could not believe it but after I asked him about whether or not he bought a lottery ticket everything clicked to him, so it is not surprising that when a person receives a message stating they received a big airdrop they immediately believe it and try to claim it, since this is the reaction the majority of the people will have and they will not stop to think if this makes sense or not.

Ordinary if someone who what's to gift you anything starts to ask you to make payments to access or receive your reward is a potential scammer, why not remove every charges and pay the rest of what is remaining to the person. After all it's more of a gifting to the person, so there's no tag that it must be a certain amount. So even from a layman's point of view, the message sent to OP is from a scammer, it's as simple as that. If i want to engage in airdrops, crypto of any kind  I'll first consider their reputation by making sure that i know someone that is holding their coins, so the person will tell me their experience, from there I'll decide if I'll go ahead to buy or not.

This is the reason why i still prefer bitcoin in all the crytocurrency space, because the coin's reputation precedes it, it's decentralized and doesn't assure you of any rewards aside it's functions to hold it, trade and use for transaction payments.

Telegram airdrop bots now are mostly scams that's why always be vigilant when doing this but sweat coin project is real though and listed of some exchange in the market. Having such huge amount in that kind of airdrop more likely will end up a scam and asking funds to unlock or received it is typically a scam tactics.
I remember early this year around January, a friend was disturbing me about an airdrop on telegram, first I told him how sure are you about this airdrop, he said he was very sure. At the end of the day, it was all fake, the good thing was I didn't invest any money in it, they asked for me to do some referrals to get a certain about of the airdrop afterwards. The scam on airdrops is alarming.

Airdrops are now so closely related to scams that it is better as a principle to stay away from them no matter how tempting the offer could be, after all the very moment you have to do anything in order to receive an airdrop it is not really an airdrop anymore, so even if the developers were honest about the delivery of those tokens, they are already lying to you since you were expected to get some referrals to get the airdrop, fortunately you could avoid any loss of money, but anyone that keeps trying to claim airdrops will at some point on the future fall victim of a scam for sure.

Op if you want to join airdrop there is no need to ask for link because they will send you and a referral link for you for you and you will be scam from there then you eye will e clear. I have been  hearing airdrop from some guys in my location but I have not taken time to check on those sites but in a faithful day, I will check out on them. I don't even know how it is, I have not seen it before.

And the way I see airdrop, they twins brothers of Ponzi Schemes when the internet fraudsters using to scam people. If airdrop was a good investment platform people would have recommended it but I have not heard of any of my close friends use it to my notification but I heard it from outsiders.
