Vitoria SC had a chance to reach 3rd place in the league table but squandered it as they lost 1-0 to Moriense FC. Vitoria SC vs Porto Vitoria SC have not won one of the last five matches. Vitoria SC is doing great this season. At home they can create chances to stop Porto. Currently Vitoria is fifth in the league table. FC Porto were unexpectedly beaten by Estoril, widening their gap to 1st place. They will try to take advantage of the Lisbon derby between Sporting and SL Benfica to move closer to the top. Vitoria SC, playing on their home ground, can take advantage and get a point or three. Porto can win 2-0 today.

Vitoria Guimaraes is looking surpirisngly well so far, but I'm sceptical about their chances today against Porto. I think it's going to be close game, but it's great opportunity for Porto to get close to Benfica and Sporting. It's last game before international break, no CL next week, so, they can focus only on today's game.
Abouttomorrow's Lisbon derby, bookmakers have Benfica as favorites, but after I saw how terrible they looked against Real Sociedad, I don't have much faith in them. On the other hand, Sporting doesn't looks perfect, they're playing away, almost every their win is such difficult, but they're consistently winning it.

So that is why the bookies are trying to scare us to not bet on Porto.They know very well that this is a golden opportunity for Porto to close that gap between the top place as they will be playing in a derby during this weekend,this would void that lost game against Estoril.I think in fact they lost against Estoril as they needed to win the game in the Champions League so they are now safe there and most likely to be qualified for the next round.Having secured that I doubt there is anything Vitoria Guimaraes can do to stop Porto tonight,I though expect a very entertaining game with goals as I doubt Vitoria would be back in defense trying to keep the result safe.

I thought that when Sporting scored everything was finished.It is a derby game and I thought now Sporting will be back in defending the result,they didn't and they tried to score more as honestly for me they played better than Benfica despite the result saying otherwise.

I think now this is not as bad as both teams from Lisbon are with equal points and 3 points ahead of Porto but if Sporting had managed to win this they would be alone in the top of the standings,nevertheless now it is becoming an even more interesting Liga Portugal for this season.

Watched a bit of Arouca - Braga game, Braga won it 0:1, but damn, pitch looked like potato field.
Back to Vitoria - Porto game where Porto won, I only can say that Vitoria can blame only themselves for all opportunities they wasted.

It was quite an emotional journey. With Benfica beating Sporting, in added time. Porto beating Guimarães with some difficulty. And most games were won by the smallest margin.

I'll place these two bets, but I won't be able to watch either game
No surprises so far in the Cup matches but in one or two rounds the games should get more interesting
