Sporting have been able to gather maximum points which have been able to help them get a comfortable lead at the top of the table leaving Befica to be at second place. With this lead, I don’t think Benfica will be able to catch up with sporting at the top of the table.

 Sporting have few matches left and they are just against some weak teams in the league and as such you expect Sporting to still be able to get maximum points in the remaining matches of the league.  This kind of victory can only be gotten through lots of determination and hardwork and i think they really merit the league for how much energy they put into actualizing this victory.

League winner was decided few weeks ago in Lisbon derby were Sporting won. Winning that postponed game only helped to show how big Sporting lead actually is. With remaining 5 games miracle need to happen that they would waste title. They have quite easy remaining games, excpet Porto. But Porto itself is far from playing great.
Put both Porto and Sporting parlay to win their games and also over 2.5 goals in Sporting game. Odds aren't very attractive, but I need such boring bets to recover some money. Expecting comfortable win from Sporting, while Porto, they need to win everything to not let Braga away as they're fighting for spot in Europa league.

Sporting Lisbon is without doubt leading the league table with a comfortable points difference ahead of Benfica but that doesn't mean that the Portuguese league title have already been decided if you ask me. Sporting are seven points ahead of Benfica but there are 15 more points to play for by both teams before the end of the season which means that mathematically, Benfica is still very much in the race to win the league title.
Considering the performance of Sporting Lisbon this season, they're very much likely to win the league but must continue to put out their best to seal the championship victory

Braga hosted Vizela at home. Vizela had not won for 4 weeks before this match. It was very difficult for the relegation favorites to get points from this match and it happened. Braga managed to defeat their opponent at home and got 3 points and managed to increase the point difference with Porto to 3 again. We can say that there will be a fierce fight between the 2 teams until the last week. Next week Braga will go to Benfica away and in the last week they will host Porto. Almost everything is in their hands now.

Without a doubt, Braga only depends on themselves to guarantee third place, but based on their experience and even the difficulties they had in winning the game against Vizela, I think it will be difficult for them to guarantee that place.

I believe they will lose to both Benfica and Porto. Their "luck" is that Porto isn't doing very well either and could still lose points until then.

Benfica achieved a good victory yesterday when they played against Farense. although Farense is a team that hasn't been doing well in recent games, it hasn't been able to win. That's why this was a game that Benfica would easily win. But I must admit that I didn't expect Benfica to concede a goal. and I was right, in the 2nd half Benfica managed to score a goal but was unable to cause any great danger to the defense of Farense, it seemed that Benfica's coach had already resigned himself to the result so he gave instructions to his players to save themselves physically, I don't know if he really This is what happened in the 2 half, this is just my opinion, I could be wrong. With this victory, Benfica continues with 7 points behind Sporting, it will be difficult for Benfica to catch up to Sporting, but Sporting's next game will be against Porto and although Porto no longer have a chance of fighting for the title, they will not want to finish in position 4, which is why in my opinion Porto will strive to beat Sporting and manage to finish in position 3 and if Sporting loses in the next game and Benfica wins in the next game then the difference in points would be 4 points, That would be good for Benfica.

If they win their last four games, they could reach an incredible 92 points and beat Porto's current record of 91 points

The Portuguese league have teams with higher impacts in the league games and European contests too. Benfica, Sporting, Porto are most impactful in this regard. Porto are doing well in the league and also have good performance records in the UCL too even though they weren't able to keep up with their good performance in their last league game which wasn't so acceptable. Same scenerio applies for Benfica and Sporting who's got their own record in the European cups too. Benfica have been doing well at securing the three points in most of their games with good goal margins. It only shows how set they are for the task put before them.

 Although a lesser performance isn't expected from them. Sporting are very much impactful in their games and Benfica too, the league seems less competitive as these teams unendingly saves the day for themselves and one would really wish there can be improvement as we'd love to see more clubs rising up to the contest before them and holding onto it fully. The league seems less competitive though as there are still weeks left and just these 3teams are trying to make good wave in the league.

 Over the years it's still these three that have been the most talked about because of the feats they've attained. One would be so sure to bet on these teams and their ability to keep progressing in points in their league games. At this moment, the upper handed team to lifting the trophy is Sporting and they've proven so far to be better than the other teams. There are still  games to be played and decided upon but it all seems maybe to end well as they are a good number of points ahead of the other teams on the table.

Thanks to the victory in the postponed match, Sporting managed to get away from Benfica who are in 2nd place and now the point difference is 7 which makes it difficult for Benfica to catch up.
There are only 5 matches left in total for the completion of the Portuguese League competition and we can all see that Sporting has guarantee as team that will win the title.
In the future, only easy matches remain and this clearly gives Sporting more freedom to defend their position.

Today new week has started and there has been one match that has finished between Rio Ave vs Arouca and ended in 1 - 1 draw, with this draw Arouca has big chance of experiencing shift in position.
Moreirense, who is directly below Arouca, is only 1 point behind and today Moreirense will only face Gil Vicente, who is team that is not that strong in this competition.
Moreirense has very big chance and indeed they are also favorites in today match.

 The draw between Rio Ave and Arouca, is one disappointing one for Arouca because this poor result gives the room for Moreiremse to be able to overtake them and if you check their match, you’ll understand how much possible it is. They’ll be playing Gil vicente, who ain’t much of a tough competition to Moreirense and you’ll expect them to get the maximum 3 points.

 ⁠well football is a game of 90 minutes and no matter our predictions, what will happen will happen and we just have to wait till after the final whistle. This match is one crucial one and you can imagine the fans excitement if the team is able to get maximum points in this match as it’ll help build the team’s desire towards reaching their target for the season.

There are only 4 matches left and indeed Sporting has the remaining matches with opponents who are not that strong, but next week is the only match that can put pressure on Sporting because they meet Porto.
This is match that Sporting must win because Porto is not team that can be underestimated, they are in 3rd place and so far have had enough wins to provide difficult challenge for all teams to achieve victory when they meet them.
Moreover, Porto has home advantage or playing at home, it is clearly not easy for Sporting to achieve an absolute victory but I am still confident that Sporting will be able to show their best because they are the favorites.

Talking little about the teams at the bottom of the standings, Chaves and Vizela are certain to be relegated this season and they will repeat their struggle in the Portuguese Segunda League.
For Portimonense, who are in the relegation zone, they still have chance to save themselves from relegation because they are only one point different from Estrela Amadora, but they are really unstable team and it will be difficult to expect big things to happen.

These are two matches of the top 4 team and of course this match is quite interesting for all Portuguese football fans, they will see big teams meet to compete for victory.
Benfica is the favorite in the match against Braga and Sporting is the favorite in the match against Porto, after all Sporting maintains its position to win the title this season and Benfica is runner-up.
For several seasons these four team have also been the most dominant because they are the strongest team and always occupy positions 1 to 4 alternately, Benfica itself is the most successful team in winning titles.
This season, Sporting has the opportunity to win the title after last season the title was won by Benfica and Sporting only finished in the top 4.

Benfica has a golden moment to shorten the distance with Sporting although I doubt that would be enough in order for them to have even a remotely slim chance of winning the Liga Portugal this season.Of course I am assuming a lost game of Sporting against Porto which is very difficult to happen for the simple reason that Porto is not the Porto of recent years where they have always been fighting for the title themselves so I don't see that Sporting is going to lose this game.I think in the end if Sporting wins the title it will be the most righteous outcome as they have been playing better than any other team during this season so I don't complain as they fully deserve it.

On paper it was a complicated game for Benfica and when the game started and Braga scored the first goal, I immediately thought it would be a game in which Benfica would lose, because Braga were playing very well and created opportunities for they scored goals, they just didn't score many goals because Benfica's goalkeeper did very well in that game and he is to be congratulated. Benfica's defense was easily broken by Braga's attackers and the 2 half ended with Braga's victory. which in my opinion was a deserved victory. but in the 2nd half, benfica started the game well by scoring the equalizer early

With that, I immediately became hopeful that Benfica would come out victorious in this game. But the minutes of the game were passing and I didn't see any more goals, when the 84th minute of the game arrived and Benfica scored the second goal, I was convinced that Benfica would win this game. Then came the red card for the Braga player and in my opinion the referee acted very well in giving the red card.

The Braga player put emotions into the game and because of his anger he committed an unnecessary foul:

If to look just at final score, it may look like easy game for Benfica, but actually it was so complicated as Benfica only took a lead on 85 minute. That red card and hard fould only show frustration of Braga player when his team is losing. Fortunately Di Maria wasn't injured because it could have ended much worse.
Watched about of Vitoria Guimaraes - Boavista yesterday. Wasn't most exciting game, red card didn't let Boavista to fight for positive result. While Guimaraes is still fighting for place in UEFA tournament.
Porto - Sporting already started, went witg BTTS and over 2.5 goals. Sporting can make another step towards title, while Porto needs win to get ahead of Braga. A bit strange that Gyokeres is left on bench.

Sporting vs Porto was very unfortunate match because Sporting had to accept draw and share points with Porto, this was clearly loss for Sporting even though they were still at the top of the standings with difference of 5 points from Benfica.
What was really surprising was that Sporting fell behind with 2 goals to Porto in the first half but it was quite impressive that in the second half Sporting was able to score 2 goals as well to avoid defeat.
Porto game was really great even though they had lost in terms of dominance of the game and possession of the ball.

Benfica experienced different thing, who managed to win against Braga and this victory gave Benfica full points to get closer to Sporting, Braga itself failed to match Porto who was in third position.
However, the difference between Braga and Porto is now 1 point, where previously they had the same points, there is still possibility that Braga can fight for the top 3 positions this season.

Benfica managed to beat Braga at home.Braga, who was ahead at half time, could not withstand Benfica more and was defeated with 3 goals in the second half.The competition between the teams is heating up with 3 weeks left until the end of the league.Braga is right in the middle and while there is 1 point difference between Porto and Guimaraes, the point difference between them is 2. It seems that who will finish 3rd, who will finish 4th and who will finish 5th will continue excitingly until the last week.
